I had bought some gifts that I needed to exchange as well as a candle that I received in the mail that had shattered on a corner. I went to exchange them. I learned that in the stars is a candle day exclusive.. good to know, but was able to exchange it for another lavender candle. Evelyn was helping me out at the register and she was being assisted by a manager, she was super cautious about the process and sweet. The manager was also helping another customer and the customer quickly questioned why the stress candle was 1/2 off and he said that he believed it was the only one, it's due to the label. He explained the difference regarding the gold label.Then the customer said there's more and said wait please and grabbed 3 more.. she was so happy.. I have been to other bath and body works but this one is my favorite because the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make customers happy. Who ever Evelyn the bigger girl with brown hair definitely couldn't be a manager with her attitude. But she's rude you asked her a simple question she will give you attitude like if you should know already. On Mothers Day she was just plain rude didn't wanna help with selecting or knowing about fragrances. She was just talking on the floor with her co worker. It was bad enough we couldn't ask her a simple question. She then was our cashier she was so unprofessional I walked away from her before getting the receipt. Ugh, pretty much the least friendly Bath and Body works that I've been to. The girl at the register was somewhat rude from the get go. I just wanted to exchange a candle as I have cats and would be afraid. She told me to pick out something to exchange and I chose two soaps. Then she stated it could only be one thing...lame. This lady has refused to help multiple people and just kept putting customers off to other employees including myself. If you don't wanna work then why are you working in a customer service industry. I love Bath and Body Works and come as often as I can. I buy a lot of their hand soaps for my home as well as hand sanitizers for the kids. Another great purchase is the room spray. It doesn't look like much, but a little ones such a long way. One puff of spray fills the entire room. Service is always friendly. I don't come to this location often, but todays service was no different. Clean location and always smells wonderful. read more

There was an amazing young man that helped us at Bath & Body Works today. We bought a lot of great things there today and very nice associates, but this gentleman stands out! I was looking for a hand sanitizer holder for my son. My daughter and her friend had no issue finding one but I couldn't find one my son would like. When I asked the associate where he got his astronaut he had hanging from his badge, telling him my son would like something like that; he took it off and handed it to me telling me to give it to him. I was completely taken back by the fact he would give us his own for my son who wasn't even there with me. It's people like him that give me hope in humanity still. Thank you for being an amazing person that shines in this world. This company is very fortunate to have you and I wish you only the best for the kindness you show to others. I have always liked stopping by in Bath and Body Works since a little girl. They have a huge selection of great scenting soaps and lotions and hand sanitizers. They still do and the greeters are very welcoming. However, I am disappointed to say that the last couple of times the service has not been too great. First, I asked what was exactly on sale since the signs are very vague and nonspecific. The woman said everything on the shelf. So I picked out some Christmas gifts - and when I go to check out (the girls were being very slow, I think all of them were young and new) they say that those items are not on sale. I tell the greeter that my experience wasn't too good and that the staff wasn't on the same page nor very expressive on what exactly was on sale. She asks if I want to talk to a manager, I say no because I am not looking for a big ordeal while I do my holiday shopping. She keeps asking me if I am sure and almost makes it seems like she is trying to force me to talk to a manager. Very annoying - but I leave and am not too bothered about this incident. I will stick strictly their one product I buy every season and that is it. Otherwise than that specific time - Bath and Body Works is one of my faves to stop in and shop in! read more

Shout out to Ashleigh!!! I stopped by to grab a few candles for their cyber monday deal and ended up walking out with a hugeeee selection of their 3 - wick candles. Ashleigh had asked me why type of scents I was into. I told her my vide was very christmas like and told her the types I already had at home. Then showed me so many amazing candles that I absolutely loved & had no idea about. She definitely knows how to listen to guest as well as know her products around the store. My wife and I live by products from bath and body works. Their candles are divine - love the fall season candles! Usually far into the season prices get pretty low. Typical prices for example are $22 for a 3-wick candle. We usually pay maximum 2 for $22 with an additional $10 of $30 or 2% off. Occasionally we have paid as low as $6 per candle. We also love the foaming hand soaps and buy them 10+ at a time. They recently increased the price to 6 for $24, but they have occasional sales and $10 of $30 so we buy 12 at a time. They have some nice other products like little hand sanitizers 5 for $5. Those awesome fragrances when you enter the shop! read more

Super disappointed in the service today. They had a sale buy 3 get 3 free. I had six items and I asked a sales gal if the items I had qualified for the 3 for 3. She said yes- it was basically everything except these two men's sections (which she pointed out to me). I get to the register and the gal at the register says that my items don't qualify. So the girl that had told me that came over and says to me "oh, you must have misunderstood me, these don't qualify" Um no... I didn't misunderstand anything, which is why I asked you specifically if they qualified before I got in the long line at the register. What a waste of time and energy. read more

When I go to the mall I always stop by here and haven't had a necessarily bad experience but not a hugely great one either. This past time I was there for the Semi Annual Sale which I've gone to every year just at different locations. The store was crazy, as expected, but the worker gave me a bag very quickly so I was happy about that! After about 10 minutes of shopping I went to the line which was huuuge but totally expected that. What wasn't so great was how the lines were handled. After waiting about 15 minutes, halfway to the registers, a worker quietly told someone behind me that the line beside us was CASH only. Well turns out some people (who I recognized now cause they had waited right next to me for 15 minutes) didn't know it was CASH only cause no one told them. Glad I wasn't in that line by accident cause I would have had to start all over in a different line. Close to the front of the line they decided our line would be split into two and the worker quietly whispered to me to go to the front and left. My first thought was "the people in front of me is going to think I'm cutting in front of him". But I inched closer to the front and tried to do as I was instructed and sure enough got a look from the first half of the line and I'm like...maybe that lady should have made a louder announcement so people know what I'm doing. Then I saw the line she told me to go into was waiting on the same person for the past 10 minutes (they were having issues.) So great...I had to leave my nice line and go to the cashier who had a trouble customer. Finally after a total of 35 minutes I checked out! All in all, I like the store but probably wouldn't go again if it's busy. read more

They have fragrances for all different preferences, whether you're shopping for yourself or a family member. I love bath and body. Whenever I go in I always buy over a $100 worth of stuff. I tried this store for the first time and it was horrible. They ignored the shit out of me the entire time. There was 2white ladies standing next to me, the black lady and the worker offered both of the bags and just walked away and completely ignored me! Worst one I've ever been to! read more

Today was the very first time I've ever walked into Bath and Body Works' White Barn Candle and I was impressed. The young lady tonight was very sweet and helpful. They have a huge variety of candles and wall flower refills, which is great since I LOVE candles. I will definitely spread the word and plan to revisit again soon. read more

I wish there was an option to show how many negative stars I would give this store. I have visited this location and the location on Northern ave near the 101fwy this week. Both locations were poor customer service. We were not greeted or offered assistance at either location. While at the Northern Ave location, they would not take back my exchange. Although they let everyone else know they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. At the arrowhead location, they looked right passed us and asked the lady behind me in line if she was ready to check out, even though we were next. We also noticed the employees at both locations were Caucasian only. I am Hispanic and they were very helpful and greeted all the other Customers that were Caucasian. I usually love Bath and Body I normally shop and the Park West Location on 99th ave and Northern. A few weeks ago I shopped at the Bath and Body in Arrowhead mall. I bought a body wash and then a gift card. In the middle of my transaction their system fails and they ask me to swipe my card again, I asked "this isn't going to double charge me?" and the lady replied " OH no it didn't go through on this end." So I swiped my card again, immediately walk out of the store and checked my bank account on my phone. I went right back in there and showed them that it had charged my card twice and the lady told me that it should drop off. So I wait a few days and it clears with my bank and doesn't drop off. So I call the store and tell them whats going on, they tell me to come down to the store that they had to reswipe my card etc.... so this morning I did and the associates basically told me to kick rocks. So NOW I am on the phone with my bank and have been for the last 45 mins, which in retrospect I should have just done in the first place to get my bank to file a fraud claim and get my $50 back. The associates at this bath and body this are rude and can't even work a cash register. Will NOT be returning and a few people I have told about this experience have mentioned they will no longer go to this location either. read more
