He didn't care to help me with my order and upon checkout through the receipt in the bag and pushed the bag right to me and said " wow this took long". I went there on October 5th which was Sunday, to look for some stuff for my mother. The most friendliest and nicest girl showed me some very sensitive skin products for my mother. The girl name is I believe Soria. She knew what she was doing and she was cheerful and helpful, she even got the products from very top shelves since I couldn't reach. I haven't been into this store for some time, however my 96 yr. old friend asked for some of their soaps for her birthday. How could I say no? There were tons of options and there was a worker who great me great customer service and recommendations. They were having a sale, so she helped me figure out that I'd save money by buying five soaps. Another nice woman rang me up and packaged it nicely. Being a club member to get special perks, it's awesome to drop by here and see how nice and organized the items are as you go in! It's smells lovely inside! This is one of my favorite bath and body works locations. It is well organized so every time I go in I know exactly where to find what I am looking for. I recently went for their semi annual sale and although I assumed it would be chaos because everything is at a discount price I was pleasantly surprised. They've removed some of my go to scents but I always manage to find a new one. My current obsession is "Mad about you" it's a really sweet smell. I would only take off one star because Glendale Gallería is always packed and so parking can be a hassle specially if I'm just going for this store. read more

The staff here is pretty rude. Fake smiles and greetings followed with forced "hand sanitizer " for your protection and theirs. OK I get the Covid-friendly greeting no harm no foul. But then one rude employee, let's call her Spooky Sal, refused to hold my items even for 20 minutes when all I wanted to do was go and eat and come back. Would Macy's do that for you? Or Bloomingdales? Of course they would. These fakes smiles and greetings melt away pretty quick when God-forbid you ask them to help you or do anything for you out of the norm. If all this were not enough they no longer honor a simple phone number for points and want to force you to use their app. No thanks. So from now on I'll be getting my hand soap and candles from Amazon, my hand sanitizers we use at work from Whole Foods, and air deodorizers from Air Wick. Won't be coming back here for a while. read more

This store has a bigger space than many other Bath and Body Works locations I've been to. Like other stores, the salespeople are friendly and helpful. They seem to have more items in stock than other locations. However, during the semi annual sale, they dumped all the sales items in a bin and the bottles looks scuffed up, used and had some leakage, making the sales items very unappealing. read more

I was with my daughter as I shopped and purchased almost a few hundred dollars worth of soap products. These soaps are heavy and I nicely asked if we could just request for a favor to hold our BBW big shopping bags (3 of them) to be held for only an hour's worth. This Caucasian manager's response with her rigid looking face was "If I hold this for you, I would have to make an exception for everyone else!" Just the thought of dealing with her again makes me vomit. I will NEVER return to this particular location again and will find other options to pre-purchase my gifts for my accounts moving forward. I'm wondering how she is with her employees? But since I'm no longer returning there, the disappointment I felt along with my daughter will be no more until hopefully she's no longer working there one day. :( read more

I've been shopping here for years now and tends to remember a lot of faces over time. I've seen new faces every now and then but I wouldn't see them for long before other new faces start showing up again. I don't understand why they keep hiring so many people like why employees keep leaving this job?? Anyway, I noticed few old faces and there was this girl who usually at the cash register area. She usually rang me up and I always had a blast whenever we talked. She helped me with my returns and exchanges both online and instore in a split of a second without any issue every single time. She went out of her way to figure out why my pickup orders weren't ready or when it has missing items when she could've turned me away like other employees there did. She was a pro at coupons too and I loved how good she was with math. Her knowledge of the benefits of products and ingredients were top notch. I was able to find alternative scents that were discontinued and great products that worked well for my skin. She was so sweet and upbeat every time we met no matter what the occasions (weekdays, holidays, etc.) During the last holidays, I was there and saw her working so hard to train new employees while running the cash registers, managing the line, and assisting her coworkers. I hope she gets a raise/promotion for doing so much duties! That ain't free labor! Yesterday, I returned and found out that she was no longer working there. I was left speechless because my first experience with the store more than 3 years ago was with her and she provided such positive experiences that I keep coming back for more. I refused to visit other location for this particular reason because I know I would not get the same experience elsewhere. I regret not asking for her contact info because I would love to have her join my team. My business needs someone as smart, lovely, and passionate as her. Well, no matter where she goes, I wish her the best and hope she finds a better career path and stay happy, because that sunshine deserves it! It won't be the same without her so I'll stop shopping here for now. Can't imagine Bath and Body gave up on a great, longtime employee so easily I prayed to Gods that they did everything they could to keep her or else i don't know what this company is thinking/doing. Wow!! Just wow at this location! They have everything you can imagine. More than the normal stores. They carry the new skin care line for active lifestyles. They have activated charcoal Body scrub and more! They have a white barn inside which is the home fragrance section. Lots of candles and smell good for the homes including plug ins. The staff is super helpful and they are ready to answer questions if you need help. This is a great location for shopping for the latest and greatest. read more

I always love coming here, especially if I have a coupon!! I often get free stuff ranging from $5 to $12. I've gotten SO MUCH free stuff, I often share it with my kids. This BBW is my local shop. Since covid hit I've been spending a little more on comfort items like scented candles and lotions. Whenever I've got a good coupon or sale I'll order some small treat for myself. They've been doing curbside pickup since covid and it's been very safe and helpful. You just order for this location and call when you're there for pick up and a masked employee will come out with your order. I've done this several times now with no issues. However today my phone wouldn't work for some reason. Luckily a nice bbw employee was on her way in to work and she stopped to help me and took my order number by hand. They brought my order out a few minutes later, confirmed my id and I was on my way. Really felt she went the extra mile for me and wish I'd caught her name! My friend put something on hold yesterday through closing and I wasn't able to make it. So I got there first thing in the morning to get it and the woman said they don't do holds but then said they do for the day????? Doesn't make sense. Holds normally go back at night when the stores are closed but since I got there when they opened the gates and nobody bought anything at 11:00, clearly the item was never even put aside. Drove 45 minutes for nothing. At least Burbank was able to save the day and the employees were so much friendlier and helpful. read more

Yelp 2014 Challenge #65/100 Bath and Body Works, hidden away in a corner instead of being in the middle of everything. It is located on the Western Macy's Wing (but luckily for me, I had yoloed and luckily parked in the Macy's Parking Lot). They have excellent customer service and tons of supplies all around the store. They weren't as interested in helping my father and I, but we were just walking by, as the semi annual was coming to an end and there was nothing I truly wanted that day (only to look for a candle for one of my friends). I wish that they did have more Christmas scented candles throughout the year, so that I could get my Christmas fix all year long. I cannot wait til November comes along haha. I only come to this location because of it being near my job.I purchase quite a bit between in store and online.I never really have had a great experience at this store but today was the icing on the cake.I went in to exchange some candles I had purchased online.One order had 6 candles but I kept 3 because that came in good condition.The other had 3 candles and all of them weren't in condition to sell.I decided instead of just returning which I should of I decided to get 6 new candles.The girl at the counter gave me stank face immediately like I have no right to return anything?I told her it was from online and it was packed poorly and if she opens them wax is falling out of them and with some the whole candle pops out.Look the prices of the candles keep going up and the quality continues to go down I'm not gonna keep something I'm not 100 percent happy with especially if I spend my hard early money on it!!! I asked her if there was an issue and she didn't say anything and ignored me and was finally like ," well that seems to be the issue today with online orders!Like what??!I'm not the person to take advantage of a return policy I work in retail so I totally get it.I was returning a defective product and I think they were gonna try to resale it too,smh.They need to treat their customers no matter what with respect because they don't know someone's situation. read more

I don't really shop at this store, because it is fragrance overload. Everything here is rootie-tootie-fresh-and-fruity-spicy-sticky-sweet.. I get overwhelmed with their bath and body products smell floating through the air. However, I did have a coupon for a free item with a 10 dollar purchase, and So I came in here. I do like their "Aromatherapy" collection and I loved their "Eucalyptus Spearmint" shower gel and I bought it along with a few of their oil burner oils to make my house smell fresh and clean. I walked in not wanting to buy anything... a few samples of lotion later and falling in love with so many different scents I ended up getting some car scents and a couple of clips to hold them. I Did the buy 4 get 2 free came out to $17 and change WHAT A DEAL! I highly recommend the EUCALYPTUS MINT it's pretty blissful I gotta say. Before I even thought I might want some help, need some help, or direction anywhere there was a store associate offering help, being friendly or letting you know about the sale in a not aggressive/annoying way. If I asked someone to put lotion on me they probably would have done that too?? I'm just kidding, it's just hard to put into words how ON POINT the service is at this location but it really is. I can only imagine how much I would have spent if I had actually planned on buying something here. So many great scents to choose from and a well layed out store.
