Despite most Lush locations feeling a little overstimulating & oppressive, the Lush Glendale employees feel like you're receiving more of an educational shopping experience with a friend. They're there to assist, they're there to talk about anything (or nothing) with you, and they're willing to test or recommend anything you may even slightly be interested in - but you don't feel like you're being stalked around the floor or forced to purchase anything. Every employee at this location is fun and willing to help, and is also willing to accept social cues and leave you alone - which is honestly so important and overlooked in sales, especially at malls. Almost everyone on the floor spoke to me atleast once while I was in store but Aileen was my favorite & ended up with me the longest. Thank you all for your help! read more

I had such an amazing experience at Lush in Glendale Galleria, especially thanks to Evelyn, Robertito, and Nicole! They were incredibly kind, helpful, and patient with me and my cousin. They truly went out of their way to give us very detailed explanations about the products we were looking at and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable from the moment we walked in. What I appreciated most was that in no way did I feel pressured to purchase anything. They gave us all the information we needed without ever making it feel overwhelming or like it was too much. I absolutely love Lush! One of my favorite stores. This was my first time visiting the Glendale location. The staff were all so very helpful. I ended up spending more than I anticipated. I got a limited edition pineapple body lotion/butter, date lotion, 2 shower bars, a conditioner that smelled like sweet potato pie and sleepy lotion and body wash. I could not leave the store without getting these items. I only came into the store for the date lotion and the sleepy lotion. Be prepared to spend more if you can't control yourself. Everything smells so amazing. All of the ingredients are overall great for your body. This location is inside the Glendale galleria Mall. Parking was terrible on a Friday morning. The store was easy to locate once I realized it was on the opposite side of the street so I had to cross over the walkway to get to it. I 100% recommend visiting this location. read more

March 2023 / Glendale: After an art event in Glendale with a friend, we stopped at the Glendale Galleria! Naturally, LUSH caught my eye, as I am a lover of bubble baths! Haha! Bubbly Fun: Easter was near; there were so many cute themed bath products; a rock 'n' roll rabbits with a guitar, bunny rabbits with long ears, sparkly Easter eggs...so many fun items! I had to take some home with me! Also, discovered Dirty Spring Water Body Wash, which smelled like a delicious mix of bubble gum and spearmint, loved it! Customer Service: Excellent! Several people helped me from handing me the shopping basket to explaining the products, including a smooth checkout process, so friendly; made shopping a memorable experience!! Overall: It took a while to use some of the products, and I just recently finished the last one (August), the sparkly Easter egg, which was so much fun, loved the colorful designs made in my bubble bath! Walking into Lush today felt like stepping straight into a little enchanted apothecary, and the team there Jen, Roberto, and Taylor were basically the magical guides I didn't know I needed but happy I found. Jen was an absolute dream. Every time I asked a question about , skin care, or self-care potions, she answered like a fairy godmother with a degree in Beauty Science. She was so knowledgeable and so warm that I'm convinced she might actually be made of glitter and pure good vibes. Roberto was the perfect haircare wizard offering thoughtful alternatives and options like someone who can genuinely see into the soul but giving Daddy-O vibes and neutralizing the brass at the same time. Iconic behavior. And Taylor? A total star. While being an amazing team player and showing the rest of the team how to ring up a specialty item, she STILL made my experience fun, seamless, and genuinely memorable. Multi-tasking queen energy. Together, they turned a regular shopping trip into a tiny adventure. I had a really disappointing experience at this location. This was my first time ever visiting this store, yet one of the workers (Taylor) claimed she had seen us "many times" and accused us of frequently coming in to make returns. This was completely false and a baseless accusation, considering we had not once set foot into this location prior. She kept telling the other worker that we need our IDs verified in order to make a return.. something NOT ON THE WEBSITE nor something any other Lush store has asked for. She then proceeded to incorrectly tell me that sale items can't be returned--even though Lush's corporate policy and website clearly state that sale items are subject to the same return/exchange policy. She was refusing to acknowledge the correct information. What made the experience even worse was how she immediately went over to the other employees and began loudly gossiping about us, which was unprofessional and embarrassing. At some point, they "forgot" to give us our change at the end of the transaction, which just added to the frustration. On top of everything, her tone + made up new rules she was giving my Middle Eastern partner was unnecessarily passive aggressive and came off as racially biased, making the whole interaction even more upsetting. I've always loved Lush for its inclusivity and great customer service, but this experience was the complete opposite. I have NEVER encountered this at any other Lush location. The staff here needs to be retrained on both the return policy and how to treat customers with respect. I would not recommend this location until serious changes are made. read more

Unfortunately, my experience at the Glendale location was anything but, thanks to an employee named Taylor. From the moment my mother and I walked in, Taylor made it clear we weren't welcome. We were just browsing, as we often do, but her attitude quickly turned cold and uninviting. I don't know if her behavior was because we didn't immediately buy something, or if it was something deeper, like our race. Regardless, it was completely wrong and made us feel unwelcome in a space we've always enjoyed. I am a huge fan of lush! It always fun to go I there get bath bomb and bubbles demos, look at all the new bath bombs and seasonal fragrances. This weekend I went to the Glendale galleria location and had a lot of fun. There were doing free make you own mummy bath bombs! It was really easy (you just press the bath bomb mixture into the mold and let it dry for 24 hours). Excited to use the bath bomb soon! Also, when I went in they were taking about private events that they host! You need a minimum of 6 people ($40/ each) and you get 1.5 hours to yourselves - either before store opening or after closing). You get to make bath bombs, they do face masks and then you can get a private shopping experience. I'm definitely planning on doing this for fun soon. read more
