We found parking in their lot easily and walked in. I asked the clerk if they had any stickers. She escorted me to the rack of souvenirs where I found a Texas-shaped magnet. Hmmm... I'll take it, but I'm still going to look for a sticker... I told the clerk that I have a coupon to use. I looked through my email and found the CVS coupon for 30 percent off of a full-priced item... yay! It showed up on the monitor! This was a great shopping experience!

(I guess my medication or reason for being at the store was not important). That was rude and unacceptable, I walked out of the store never to return or recommend that location. It's not the first time its occurred, people at that store are not friendly.

The cashier doesn't always have the best attitude and is normally on her cell phone. I would advise you to call ahead to see if they have what you need in stock before making a blank trip to this location. When they do have what you need, they have what you need and I guess that's all you can really ask for.

I went in to the Modern Beauty Company with intention of picking up some quality products for my niece's birthday. Big mistake. First thing I noticed was that this place is a mess. The sign out front is half gone and there is spray paint all over the front windows. If you're going to open a place and expect people to come in to your store, for god sakes make the outside look some what presentable. They also have a super classy neon sign that let's you know that they're open...Nice touch. Second thing I noticed was that this place was right next to a neighborhood bar. When I stepped inside I could smell the stale cigarette smoke in the air. Not what I expect when I go in to a place like this. Third and last, the people there were just plain rude. My niece asked for a specific kind of makeup and, with my lack of knowledge, hadn't the slightest clue what to look for. I started looking around, clueless, and didn't receive one "may I help you". I was so turned off by this place initially, that instead of hanging around and finding what I needed, I just left. I ended up Yelping and finding another place down the street. And the custom lipstick thing is such a treat!! I walked out of there looking smokin hot and had such a fun time I didn't want to leave! I had a Tidbit Treat and so got my blow out, makeup app and 2 tubes of lipstick, but I added a cut and ended up buying some of the makeup - but not because I got a hard sell - the opposite! Not that it took much convincing - the makeup lines they carry are just so unique and wonderful, I'm totally addicted now and can't wait to go back!!

The shampoo was incredible -- my scalp felt so refreshed, and the stylist took her time to ensure every section was thoroughly cleansed. The deep conditioning treatment was next-level. Not only did it include heat for better product absorption, but I also received a steam treatment while detangling, all with the conditioner still in -- a thoughtful touch that left my hair feeling unbelievably soft and hydrated. I was even offered a snack and drink while sitting under the dryer, which made the experience feel so luxurious. While my hair was setting under the dryer with rollers, I really appreciated that the heat was set to a comfortable, regular setting -- not too hot! The other day I decided to finally stop and replenish my laundry soap that I had purchased sometime…read morein Jan 2024. I tried the body soaps, but due to my sensitive skin I could not partake sadly. I have been happy this year with the laundry soap, narcissistic which is a popular scent. So, they don't have many locations and I had been meaning to stop and I did. This location is nearest to the area I live in. Upon arrival to the store, I walked in and was greeted by Bria who was customizing something for a lady. The other employee, Sabria was also helping check out another customer. I waited patiently as I looked around the store to see if I would be trying a new laundry scent and for some reason I forgot the name of my soap at home. Sabria had finished with the customer and afterwards she proceeded to go directly to a counter and pulled out boxes to replenish. I waited and waited and nothing. Finally, she turned and asked if I needed help. I said yes, but I noticed a non friendly undertone I proceeded anyway and so I had asked if she could look up my previous order and she said they could not. For some reason she was very short and exhibited a slight attitude and so I was going to walk out, but asked for a manager. She said the manager was not available as he was at another location. The vibe became passive aggressive. I then decided that I needed my soap and had driven and made time to purchase. I decided to wait for the other employee to better help me. While waiting I contacted the manager at another location and while on the phone, the other employee Bria became free to help me, but Sabria decided to intercept her and it appeared she pulled her to talk about me. I was totally in shock that this was happening while I was on the phone with a manager. Bria ended up helping me and provided the expected customer service experience that I waited for. I purchased Fresh Linen. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from Chelsea the Regional manager who was given my name and number by Gabby a manager at another store. She asked me about what happened. She then validated my experience by saying that she reviewed the cameras and had seen that I waited for 18 min before being helped. She apologized and thanked me for still patronizing their store. I understand people have bad days, but this was a blatant unacceptable response to a customer. Chelsea heard me and opted to provide me with some items to try. I will return and I hope to never have this experience again.
