Jeri deserves special recognition for her professionalism. She treats every customer with courtesy, respect, and consistency, regardless of what they are shopping for or spending. Andy is also a quiet but highly effective manager whose attention to detail and commitment to maintaining standards are evident throughout the store. He is personable, thorough, and clearly invested in creating the best possible shopping experience for customers. One manager frequently refers to customers as "friend." While I understand the intent may be to sound welcoming, I found the term disingenuous given my experience with this individual. Rather than feeling valued, I often felt marginalized during our interactions. Although I experienced a few unpleasant interactions with certain associates, including a former assistant manager and back room bullies, my more recent visits have been much more positive. It would also feel more inclusive if hiring at this store were more diverse to reflect a more balanced demographic. The store can become extremely busy during sales events. Unfortunately, this is a high crime area. I have witnessed instances of brazen shoplifting, including women loading baskets and running out the door with large quantities of merchandise. I hope the store's security systems and surveillance efforts help deter this behavior and catch these criminals. read more

I much prefer this location as to the galleria or Rice Village. It's not crowded, lots of parking and even if the shop isn't as big as the others in the area they still have what you are looking for. Lotions, candles, body sprays, plug ins for your walls to make your home smell lovely...indulge your senses. They also have several gift options. Pop in during different times of the year and they have seasonal scents. Sign up to get emails or their snail mail list to get coupons or discounts. Again, I highly recommend this location if you don't want to fight Rice village parking or fighting the Galleria crowds. read more

I've been coming here for years. I try to aim to come on weekdays so it's less crowded, but sometimes it's even more crowded during lunchtime on a weekday than on the weekends. On a recent visit, I was the only customer in the store for most of the 10 minutes I spent in there. Upon entering, an employee sanitizes your hands with one of their new antibacterial sprays. They are offering BBW bags as a shopping bag while you browse, rather than their usual reusable baskets. There are social distancing signs/directions at the check out counter. Payment is not contactless - you still have to touch the keypad (hitting the OK button to approve a credit card transaction), but they seemed to have covered the keypad with a sort of film. OH EM GEE!!!! I love the Meyerland location; plenty of parking and customer service is great I am always greeted by someone here. I used to live near Pearland and always went to that location; service is not bad but they just seem like they are pretending to be nice. At first I was hesitate to come here based on the most recent reviews, but my experience was not the same. Laura greeted me at the door with a bag and gave me all the deals of the day. After perusing the store for a few minuets I was approached by another associate and who gave me suggestions based on what I liked. The same young lady checked me out at the register, I informed her that I never received emails but follow BBW on Instagram and saw the coupons. Cashier 3154154 honored the coupon, verified, and changed my email address in the system and also signed me up for mailing coupons( I have been shopping with BBW so long I did not even know I could sign up for mailed coupons). I recently moved and I am a BBW HEAD, so this became my nearest store. I'm in here at least 1 to 2 times a week, depending on the deal. This particular store is very congested and a lot of the cahiers are not friendly. Cashier number 1511717 on Reg# 2- 12/12/18 in particular. She is very unprofessional. She was on her cellphone during check outs. Lines were unbelievable long. As I approached she proceeded to tell me, she couldn't help me find anything I was looking for with a very sarcastic demeanor. They need to do a clean sweep on what customer service is suppose to be like. I love their foam hand soaps. When they are on sale, I'm in heaven. The associates here were very helpful & pleasant when I shopped here two days ago. I was greeted with more than just a simple, "Welcome" or "Hello". All of my questions were answered. They even engaged in friendly conversation. not my favorite location and have been going to it for several years. yes, parking is plentiful. Although it doesn't compare to the selection that the Galleria has to offer this location still has a decent inventory. what really gets to me about this location is one of the staff members who works there and i believe she may be management. wish i knew her name but she's a black, slightly heavy set, older woman possibly in her 40s. Over the many years i've been there she's always been dry and rude but if you happen to be one of her "sistahs" (black) her demeanor changes to a very warm, friendly employee who acts like she's known you for years. I've observed this many times. for example, during the holiday rush madness the lines were chaotic and i'm just there standing where i thought was the end of the line. she says to me, "You stand over here." She's seriously talking to me like she's ordering me around. But moments later her "sistahs" are walking around shopping and she's treating them a hell of a lot nicer and even smiling and laughing with them. just recently i went in there and of course she was the first person there to help with a question that i had regarding a coupon offer. As i was trying to rip the coupon off the mailing insert that it came in she once again spoke to me in a curt manner and says, "don't rip that off". One, i need to detach it from the insert so that i can read the fine print of what i can or can't purchase. two, i needed to detach it from the insert so that i can separate it from the other attached offers. three, it's my choice to have it detached from the insert in which i asked her straight up why does it matter if i do so? Not sure if i'll ever be back at this location but then again if i do, i'll be sure to grab her name the next time read more
