In the end she was late and asked me to leave it we would come some other day. I asked my son to go and put the vacuum back at the place where we picked it up. I saw my son start walking with the trolley towards the aisle to put it back, all of a sudden I saw a guard quickly walking behind my son in anticipation of nabbing him as already racially profiling us like we are thieves. The law is to catch the thieves when they try to get away from store without paying not profiling them without any reason. No wonder it is not that full as it used to be.

Upon returning the shirts to the store on Michigan Ave. only the last three were able to be returned because of barcode issues. The 2 identical shirts barcodes could not be scanned. I decided to try the Koles store #0217 on Ford Rd. Two ladies, Marlita and Shannon were determined to solve my problem. They gave me a number to call to give my Order No. and get a number to scan for return. Things worked out fine with one shirt, however, the second shirt that was identical didn't scan because one was regular fit and the other was slim fit. These two ladies were determined that they were going to solve this problem. Both shirts were returned and I received my credit. Thanks to two exceptional employees. Douglas Barrett

On a recent visit to Nordstrom-Twelve Oaks, my friend had an appointment to get a dress altered for…read moreher son's wedding. I was along for moral support. Upon arriving in the women's department, we asked Ann where we should go for alterations. Ann couldn't be bothered to show us where to go, she instead pointed to a nearby fitting room. We then asked Deborah, and she took the dress, found a fitting room for my friend and promptly called the alterations department. Thank you Deborah. After the alterations were complete, it was suggested to my friend that she open a Nordstrom credit card in order to get back the alteration fee in Nordstrom notes. Deborah so kindly started the process. 45 minutes later, after being transferred around to four or five different departments on the phone, Deborah called for a manager. Kurtis, the manager, was finally able to finish the process. Had the alteration fee not been so steep ,we would have walked away. Truly, ridiculous. Kurtis did provide us a free lunch in the Bistro, for all the time wasted. While waiting for the approval process, I wandered into the lingerie department to look for a specific brand of underwear. There was no one working in the department. I had to find someone from another area and of course the sales person immediately said that wasn't their department. What has happened to Nordstrom and their sales team? Nordstrom was always the gold standard for customer service. Perhaps they should take a lesson from Von Maur- There are always plenty of people working and you are always asked if you need help. I am not sure why I would go back to Nordstrom.

Got an amazing dress to wear as a wedding guest that was heavily on sale and perfectly my size this way once. I don't think it was even out on racks. Also love their beautiful home goods. Also on the pricier end but don't sleep on the sale section. Just got an absolutely adorable serving dish and plate set for a great price. This location is in a nice plaza with a lot of other retail and dining options. Parking lot is always a little crazy but there's the additional space kind of behind the store (next to it technically) if the main lot out front is full.

I thought it would be a hassle to make online returns in store but not at this location.
