Be Nude Candle Co is the most perfect place for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or literally any fun event you wanna do. I can't even begin to tell you how much everyone loved making their candle here and how amazing this whole establishment is. Natasha and her daughter were beyond informative, funny, personable, helpful, and were just such great hosts. Natasha walked us through the whole process from start to finish and gave us such creative freedom, all while helping with every step. The place itself is spacious and PERFECT for events for 10-20 people. The sunflower wall with the swinging seat is such an adorable addition to the place (perfect for cute pics, too!), along with the grassy wall with the lit up #BEnude sign. The actual candle making was something I will 100% do here again - we got to be little scientists for the day and we all loved it. From mounting your wick, to creating your scents and color of your candle, to pouring it in your vessel, the whole process was enjoyable and creative. Staff is eager to help which is contrary to most establishments nowadays and they'd get 5 stars if I didn't want to make a plainly stated acknowledgement to how Corporate is failing. It's been years since I purchased from YC. Why? BBW candles had more sillage and style. At any rate, I was GIFTED a pickup so I went and took my mother learning they have a YC collection now. Well, $5 coupon is available to you at pickup but you must spend it on a full price item. YC never goes on sale until Black Friday 2025 so I raced to buy online and went to shop, IN-STORE, for 3 coupons are due to expire. WELL, every staff member was eager to let me know Buy 3 get 3 didn't apply to YC. Yes, I know. But what they didn't help do was explain all the caveats to my printed hardcopy coupons which I read the fine print and still learned, at the register, the intended traditional candles didn't apply. Or, the free item was limited to $15. Guess what, not much of substance is available at $15 in the store which explains how and why the outlets have these out. Hence, just shop at the outlet if and when you ever receive a coupon. This store is near, clean and staff is knowledgeable and can be too eager to help while not helpful where I needed it most. At any rate, Joyce was patient because I truly needed to segment my purchase. It wasn't lets pay for the whole basket in 1 transaction. I have rewards and gifts in mind. Maybe corporate will work to remove the facade/shill but I doubt it as things have been working for them for how long? Well, I'll accept I'm not their target market and buy from Lafco, Mind Games, Nest and Costco as price points and sillage matter to me. Notice I didn't mention BBW; that's because their candles are weaker than ever so no need to waste money. Clearly, I'm fine paying more (e.g. YC COLLECTION) so long as there's quality and value.

I walked around enjoying all the wonderful scents. I sniff and smelled the candles on display. I was the only person in the store at the time. The saleslady gave me my space and if I asked her a question. She was so freely to answer my questions. Many different scented candles and other fun gifts to purchase. Pretty pricey for candles. Big box stores have pretty much everything you need, but navigating the aisles is a nightmare. You could circle the store three times before you find what you're looking for. So when I was given the task of buying some scrapbook material for a friend's wedding shower, I was absolutely dreading going to the store. That is, until I remembered passing by this store on a recent walk. Hoping I didn't have to go anywhere else, I stopped inside. It's like a scrapbooking heaven in there. Plenty of different papers, stamps, stickers, tape and anything else related to scrapbooking that you can think of. Of course, I had no idea what the "right" thing to get was, but luckily the woman behind the counter was super helpful. I told her what I needed and she helped me out, explaining what each thingamabob does and what would work best. She saved me like 20 minutes of staring at this stuff and looking like a doofus. She also saved me a trip to the big box store. Hooray! If you're looking for scrapbook stuff, I highly recommend stopping here first. It's a small shop, but they have a lot of stuff and you'll get attention from the staff instead of trying to hunt someone down. Check the hours before you go, because they close different hours each day.
