After the phone conversation with the manager I was told since the bag was distressed it couldn't be returned or exchanged. I bought it like that! He opened it, not me! So it can't be returned! If you need something returned, your out of luck. Employees open the product and then can't return it.

Today was my second visit to the Tracy location, and my daughter and I had SO much fun looking at the beauty products! The girls put up with our multitude of questions. Since I currently don't work in a salon, and I only do hair and makeup for special events, I'm a little behind on the current stand out products. The great thing about this shop is that all employees have great product knowledge, (due to the company providing a ton of full sized samples to their employees) and they are honest. If you ask questions, the employees will tell you what works for them, what their family members have tried, and what products fly off the shelves with stylist demand. They are not bonused out due to selling certain (stale) products. The reason why I knock off a star is because you really have to wait for someone to help you, and some of the girls have egos where they have to warm up to you before helping you. The greeting process isn't stellar for the amount of women who work there. However; they ultimately gave me honest feedback, and were very kind to my precociously talkative daughter.

I have been…read moregoing to Shanti since I was around 16 years old, and she has always been someone I trusted with my hair. In the past, she has taken my hair from brown to blonde, so I felt confident going back to her for a blonde balayage. This time, however, I went in specifically wanting a blonde balayage and was left with barely any highlights and not the brighter blonde look I had asked for. I called the next day and asked to speak with a manager because I was unhappy with the result. I was told that adding money pieces would give me the brighter look I wanted. Although money pieces were never something I originally asked for, I trusted the salon's recommendation and returned the following day to have them added. Unfortunately, the money pieces turned orange. At that point, I went back into the salon again hoping they would take responsibility and help resolve the situation. Instead, I was told that I was essentially just looking for "complementary services" and that the most they could do was tone down the orange. I was also told that if I wanted anything else fixed, it would cost another $300, despite the fact that I had already paid $300 for a service that did not give me the result I originally requested. What is especially frustrating is that I never originally wanted money pieces. I only agreed to them because I was told they would help achieve the brighter blonde look I wanted. I trusted the professionals to correct the original result, and unfortunately that correction created another issue. I also asked about receiving even a partial refund because I did not receive the service or result I paid $300 for, but I was told that wasn't an option. Instead, I was told that the money pieces and the subsequent color change were considered "complementary services." From my perspective, these were not services I was simply requesting for free -- they were attempts to correct an outcome that I was already unhappy with after paying for the original service. I have been loyal to Shanti for years, which is why this experience was particularly upsetting. I understand that mistakes can happen with hair, and I wasn't expecting perfection. What I expected was accountability, communication, and a genuine effort to make sure I left feeling happy with my hair. After speaking with multiple people, including management, I unfortunately felt like there was always another excuse for why nothing could be done. It left me feeling as though the priority was protecting the stylist and the salon rather than making sure the customer was satisfied. A salon's job is not only to provide a service, but to make clients feel confident and good when they walk out the door. I don't feel that happened here. More importantly, I don't feel that my loyalty as a longtime client, my concerns, or the way I left feeling were taken seriously. I'm sharing this respectfully because I hope Ulta and this location can use experiences like mine as an opportunity to improve how they handle situations when a client is genuinely unhappy with a service. Customers should feel heard, respected, and cared for -- especially when they have been loyal clients for years. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not feel that this location demonstrated client loyalty, client respect, or genuine care for how I left the salon. It was a bit late for the Orange Krispys but they still had some. I didn't expect the price, though. I'd been to the store a couple of years ago to get some $25 gift cards for people I knew. I didn't really pay attention to the prices. When we moved from California and the company had a way to ship chocolates, it included an extra fee that made it seem like the chocolate was traveling from Switzerland or somewhere really far away. In any case, one of the dear ladies brought the sample tray. I ended up with the Rum Nougat. I had never tried them because they were my mum's favourite and she'd always grab them as soon as she opened the box. I then, hurried to the cash register to buy the Orange Krispys before my A1C % went through the roof. They have quite a good selection of chocolates and it's always enjoyable to visit.

What a great decision because I found not one but two tops and both for under $10!! The selection here is what I would consider on the younger side but not quite ''Forever 21'' young and most of the styles of tops / skirts are available in more than one color. Although the items are all very cheap the quality of the material feels pretty good too so it looks promising that the 2 tops I bought won't fall apart in the wash.
