However, I got a personal call from the shop owner who ensured there was a technical difficulty and confirmed if I still wanted to purchase the items. I am so glad I said yes! It was a wonderful buying experience. The employee who called was kind and helpful in answering my questions. They took the time to hand write a note for me and attached it to the teddy bear. However, I was recently disappointed to find that a large majority of vendors have begun selling items with AI-generated "artwork." I recognize the usage of AI as a practical tool but certainly not as a creative medium--especially when vendors charge $30 and above for "artwork" that a human didn't even create. I feel that selling AI-generated pieces is not only deceptive but a poor reflection on any business given how environmentally damaging it is plus the fact that AI continuously steals content from hard-working human artists. I love Homespun and will continue to recommend them on account of my positive experiences as a shopper, but I feel that they and other businesses can do better when it comes to recognizing the harm AI causes.

I asked the woman if she had anything I could purchase for a school dance the next day. She said she would see what could be done and left me for a few minutes- she returned with a smile on her face and said we can get it ready for you "right now" I waited in their beautiful store for about 10-15 minutes when just like magic, she approached me with the most beautiful rose wrist- corsage and boutonnière and saved the day for a special high school couple in Seymour.
