Every other employee was great && welcoming EXCEPT for Aracely. She clearly has no manners whatsoever. Doesn't know how to say excuse me. Overall very rude && not the first time of her being rude! I was in the section near the hand sanitizers && as I'm looking she decided to try to walk past me without acknowledging me && saying excuse me but is also literally not giving me enough time to move to the point where she kicked my feet a bit while walking past. MIND YOU! I had my Son walking with me. She didn't have the courtesy to apologize just continued on like as if a PAYING customer wasn't there. I suggest checking her attitude before she acts like that to the wrong one. Yall would have definitely got that 5 star if it wasn't for her. Have a good one yall! read more

Poor customer service. Staff was to busy socializing to help or greet customers. Staff eventually followed my wife but didn't ask if she needed help. Checkout was frustrating. Packed 100$ of items into the smallest bag and gave me an attitude when I asked for a larger bag or 2 small bags. Will not go back to this location. read more

That worst Bath & Body Works! We had done some Christmas stocking stuffer shopping the day before at a different location and it was like a different world. At this location no one greets you or asks if you need help. Three employees were at the front ignoring customers and socializing amongst themselves. I had to spend 20 minutes trying to find what I needed. And when we asked for help they were not helpful. However, a woman followed me around the whole store not saying anything. We spent $100 and they gave us a small extremely stuffed bag. When we asked for another bag they told us they can only give out one bag. This was the worst experience at a store we love. WON'T LET ME USE MY COUPONS! Let me preface and say I've worked at Bath and Body Works at a different AZ location for 3 years up until sometime last year. I came in to redeem five different coupons, ones that would have to be done in separate transactions, as I've done many times in the past including for myself and for customers. The cashier told me I could only redeem one. I asked "since when? I used to work here and that was never a rule" and she couldn't answer my question and went to ask her manager. She came back and said I could use 2 now. They're definitely making stuff up here. If the policy did change, please tell me when. And don't flip flop on how many I can use. I MAY SOUND LIKE A KAREN BUT why send coupons if I can't use them? The fine print doesn't say I can't use them. Not a good look on management at this location. The manager should have came and told me this policy, since I've never heard it in my time working with the company. I'll continue shopping at Arizona Mills and Scottsdale Fashion Square locations, they let me use all my coupons. read more

This bath and body works is always clean easy to find what you need and plenty of assistance and associates who are willing (over willing at times) to help! I love the fact you can try out your soap before purchasing by using the sink! This is the coolest thing. You can also smell everything and try on as much as possible then wash your hands all over again. I love the small lotions and car scents those are my favorites! Coupons online on the website are also an incentive I would recommend this location! Manager is nice as well, I've never had a issue that had not been resolved. read more

I placed an order on line for store pickup. I received a notification that my order was ready. On my way to pick up the order, I received a voicemail from an associate at the store who said that there was a 'glitch' in the system and don't bother coming to pick up the order because they do not have it (while laughing through the message). Meanwhile, I kept getting notifications (emails and text messages) that my order was waiting. When I called customer service, I was advised just to ignore the messages and it should go away after 5 days. On the 6th day, I called the store back and was told, 'yes, we have your order'. Very frustrating. Absolutely no accountability. The manager did nothing but refer me to the customer service number. She said she did not know the name of her district manager and they cannot give out their corporate number. The customer service number is obviously outsourced to a call center. I asked to escalate my complaint and they refused. Such awful customer service. I will not go back. read more

Went in to purchase gifts for a friend who loves pineapple. June is not the prime time for pineapple scents! Rebekah helped me determine which products had pineapple tones and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my selection. She took time to get to know what I was looking for and the occasion, she even thought to include cellophane to wrap up my gifts! Before she approached me, I was pretty sure I was going to leave with only a hand sanitizer and ended up leaving with a small scent collection. She was knowledgeable about the deals and products in the store and really made this experience enjoyable. I will definitely be returning. read more

So I am kind of telling this second hand but at the same time I have never left a bad review about any business prior to this. I took my daughter to this location and I stayed out front and let her do her thing. She came out and said that she had one of the worst retail experiences she had ever had. I have sat outside of a million stores prior to this day and she has never said anything about the service. I started trying to drill down about what had happened and she just kept saying that they were just mean. I don't know what associates were involved with her experience but she finally told me that they were just very basically rude and asked me to share her experience. I can understand having a bad day, we all do. I hope for the sake of this business that was what this was. I will start by saying their store is very clean and the products are always well displayed. HOWEVER-- I can't bring myself to come back to this location because of how annoying and hounding the sales employees are. I understand that they have products to sell, but they do not know how to read a room/read a customer. I was greeted and politely mentioned I am just looking and know where I am going. A few seconds later yet another person interrupted my browsing to pull me to look at candles-- she started putting them in my face which I was not happy about but I smelled it anyway and said thanks and turned the other direction. I wanted to get to the soaps which are in the back of the store but I decided to turn around and leave because there were 2 more employees that I'd have to pass to get to them. Again, I understand that they are trying to sell product but they are too eager and it is a big disruption when I already know what I am looking for. I come from a background in retail so I understand that customer service is important and helps reduce shrink but this place is horrible. The person at the door greeted us, requested we use hand sanitizer, asked if we wanted to know the deals, then asked if we needed help. We walked 5 feet and were greeted by another employee who repeated the same thing which I told her we heard a moment ago. After about another 5 feet we have another employee come and tell us the same thing and wouldn't leave us alone. Then the second employee circles back around and starts to tell me about some other deal that the third employee mentioned. I finally snapped back and asked if we were doing something wrong. She said no we just want to make sure you don't miss any of the deals. There are a million scents and my daughter was trying to determine the wallflower and scent she wanted. They could tell I was visibly irritated and left us alone. I visited the same location one other time this season and had the same experience. read more

I have never had anything but excellent customer service here. I came in yesterday to purchase gifts for 23 people. I told Abigail when I came in that I need to purchase lots of gifts and she said, "great let's get started." She helped me pick out matching scents for candles, lotions and body scrubs since I wanted all different scents. She helped me cart them all to the register and also helped me carry them out to my car. Thank you Abigail for all of your help! read more

The store was nice and clean, and Alexis was super friendly and helpful. But either Bath and Body Works has started wording their coupons really deceptively, or someone has done a poor job of explaining the meaning behind their coupons. I have drawers full of barely used to brand new lotions from this place, so I really didn't need to stop in, but I got a great coupon in the mail for a free candle with any purchase and I couldn't resist. It came with another coupon for 20% off and they were mailed as a set, two to use now and two for later. Anyway the coupon reads: REDEEM NOW! FREE 3-WICK CANDLE WITH ANY PURCHASE $22.50 VALUE! Which to me reads, the candle is free with any purchase (no minimum purchase is listed even in the fine print), and the candle is valued at $22.50. So I get in line and hear the girl behind the register tell the lady In front of me that it's one coupon per transaction even though the back expressly states that they can be combined with each other. Whatever, I wanted the free candle, not necessarily the 20% off anyway. So I brought my candle and my $15 worth of items to the register after picking out the smallest things I could find to justify adding more to my filled cabinets, and she tells me that the coupon is valid with a $22.50 purchase. Which first off is a completely random number. So I showed her my coupon and after reading it she says, "Oh this coupon is really for a buy one get one free candle". Except that's not what it says, plus the candles are on sale for $15 so that also doesn't make sense. I was going to leave my items and just go, and she encouraged me to use my 20% coupon, so I went for it on a whim, and to not be the asshole that just leaves when I don't get what I want. It wasn't a bad experience overall but I think someone needs to either clear up the coupons or translate them to the girls at the register. Anyway, I just left in a bummed out mood having not gotten my candle. I'm going to add front and back photos of my candle coupon as well. read more

Let me start by saying that I received excellent service until Liz the cashier at the register checked me out. She was grumpy and seemed annoyed to be at work. Yes, I know it's the holidays, but what happened to service with a smile? She did not even thank me for shopping with them, or say have a nice day or anything.
