These soy candles smell so wonderful! They're come in a variety of scents and they are very fragrant. One candle burning will easily smell up my den, kitchen, dining room, foyer, bar, butler's pantry and hallway (that's 7 spaces to 1 candle). They sell for about $10-$15 each and come in pretty little jars with a twine bow and tag. I know it's pretty impressive that one candle can smell up seven rooms, but the best thing about these candles is actually the cause behind them. Lights of LOV is a candle making business created by Light of the Village. The purpose of Lights of LOV is to help those who are underprivileged or face other obstacles such as a criminal history, to learn job skills, work ethic, and appropriate behavior and dress for employment. If you aren't familiar with Light of the Village, it also offers summer camps and after school programs for children, life skill programs for adults such as GED classes, addiction recovery, driver education. It's a truly wonderful organization that relies on community support. What's a better way to make your home smell wonderful and help others than buying a Lights of LOV candle?

I even spotted a small Easter decor section. I did notice some pride holiday decor and some ornaments that were same sex couples, though none of color. They did have some representation of different colors. They even had Bernie in his now famous seated position wrapped in Christmas lights. And they had some of my gnome friends on display and for sale. So many variations of nativity scenes, snowy city displays, and just oh my goodness so very much. If you are ever in the area, I would suggest stopping by. Friendly employees, lots and lots of inventory. If you can not make it, just look at their social medias and their website. Freaking amazing. Some items are a bit expensive in my opinion, but I think that most are reasonably priced.

I called and they were about to close but the owner allowed me to come in the next morning an hour prior to them opening, which was amazing. Upon arrival, the place was spacious and very clean. My tech was cleaning the pedicure chair I was going to be using. His name was Si. He wore gloves and masks the whole time. I was able to get my pedi and gel mani in the same chair, thus not having to move around while the place got busier. Si was pleasant, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job. He took his time and did not rush the process even though the place was getting busier. I am extremely happy with the service. For services they have a menu and you can choose your experience. So, the price level is up to what you want. I would go back to Si at this location and this review reflects only his service and what I saw as far as cleanliness and space of the place. Extra thank you to the owner for being accommodating.

Their advice was thoughtful, personalized, and made me feel so much more confident about the process. What really made the experience special, though, was them. They were hilarious, welcoming, patient, and genuinely kind. It felt less like shopping and more like getting advice from friends who truly know their stuff. Customer service like that is rare these days, and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Do, I got a top coat polish, base coat polish, two nail files, four nail polishes, 3 mud mask packets, a hairbrush, and a small bag of clips to separate my hair while dying/ styling for less then $50. There was makeup available, just not as much as I would of liked, so that was my only complaint. Other then that, a great place to shop.

You'd think a store staffed primarily by women would understand when a customer is indecisive, especially a woman running on no sleep because of a teething toddler, but instead of leaving their post behind the counter - all 5 employees, by the way - they stood there until she entered the dressing room and then called the police. When she emerged from the fitting room, there he was, plain clothes, badge front and center, making it as uncomfortable for her to browse as possible. Even after she was ready, or shamed into, making her purchase (which I'm returning this morning) the cop still circled close by, like a vulture. DESPITE this, she bought her shirt and pullover and didn't tell me any of this until late last night. Back to me toddler for a moment, two days ago (we've been here 3 times in 3 days) our child was running around, not hurting anything or making a mess but apparently that's just too much for such a stoic, reserved store as Alabama Outdoors. The feeling of contempt was palpable so, parents, don't bring your children. That game of Peek-a-boo behind the rack of pullovers is uncalled for per the rules of this subpar store. Spend your money at more deserving places like Red Beard's or go across the Bay to Coastal Outfitters, where at least if you can't make up your mind, they'll offer to help instead of having a cop harass you until you leave. It's inexcusable. We've shopped there since they opened, stopping only after our daughter was born because we were focused on more important things. This Christmas marks the first time since she was born that we really went out as a family, excited to see her reaction to the decorations and people in general. Yesterday, everyone we saw at the Eastern Shore Center was polite and happy. Our daughter was waving and talking to anyone that would acknowledge her, something Alabama Outdoors seemed pained to do, so it's not us in the wrong in this scenario. It's their complete failure at being polite. Maybe we're just not their target audience...but who is? 20-something yuppies who's only true outdoor excursions involve drinking on patios? Asking because, again, we've never been treated so poorly at Red Beard's or Coastal. This is the only reason I'm returning the shoes I bought and the stuff she bought - a complete disregard for customer service. Remember this: you work there. We shop there. You exist because we allow you to exist but unless you learn how to properly treat customers you will be nothing but a showroom for Amazon.
