Love this location especially during the holidays. Well technically anytime of year it's great as its always super clean, organized and has staff all smiles ready to aid you to find the scent your looking for. They have always had good, fair pricing on their inventory, that hasn't overly increased over the years, which is a plus in my book. I'm totally addicted to their Hand soaps/sanitizers and Candles when they have their super sales! :) read more

Got a coupon and don't want to brave the SUV driving Karen's and insta-obssessed teens on the prowl at the roosevelt field mall? Then take a ride down long beach road and get your holiday shopping done here. The shopping center that hosts b&bw also has typical mall haunts such as VS, loft, banana republic, Gap etc. Store is clean, smaller but far less chaos than a typical b&bw. Staff at this location have always been super kind and professional, especially during my last trip. Just keep in mind they may not take retailmenot coupons and the definitely won't honor expired ones anymore! For the 2-3 times a year I stock up on gifts, goodies and hand soaps it's worth it. read more

Store is always well stocked with the scents I want. There is always an abundance of products, so much so that the aisles are a bit tight. Employees are so friendly. There's always someone by the door to greet you. The man by the door let me know that the set I chose wouldn't be included with the deals I was there for, which saved me time and frustration! I'm usually not someone who likes when people approach me in stores, but very glad that he did. Cashiers work very quickly and are helpful. There is never a line. I went in candle day for 2020 and even though many people were shopping, there wasn't a line. The only down side is that this store is in a plaza with many other stores, so after 10am, it could be difficult to find parking close by if it is super hot or cold outside. read more

So I just left there without my stuff. $298.97 worth. It is my 50th birthday. Everybody knows you get a coupon in the mail. I forgot my coupon. I offered my license and also asked for them to look me up in the computer so they can see I'm an avid shopper with them. The manager wouldn't even glance at my license nor would they look me up. And to boot, they gave the woman in front of me who had three items a coupon!! The bottom line is it is up to the manager of the store to use their discretion. His discretion sucked! It really is who you speak to and deal with in life that makes a difference. I am so disgusted and disappointed in the Oceanside New York store. The manager should be ashamed of himself! read more

If I could give 0 stars to this location I would in a heartbeat. The store manager Robert is not conducting business professionally. He chose to close off this store location at 6:45 pm with a line of people still outside when it is posted everywhere that the store would be closed at 7pm. I completely understand that during this pandemic the store could only allow 24 people in at a time. However there were still people coming out before then and he would not allow any new customers inside. On a regular business day, would you tell me it's okay for a store to turn customers away a full 15 minutes before the posted closing time? And to add insult, especially during these times. They claim they need time to "sanitize" the store after closing, however I know when I left the shopping center after 7pm there was not a soul to be seen sanitizing anything. Definitely not a place I'll be giving any business to. read more

I went in there the other day and a girl named Katie was working. She was very nice at first and I thought maybe they have better staff finally. I am the kind of shopper that I'm all over the place in the store. I got what I needed and checked out. As I was leaving I noticed a few scents I missed and had to check them out. As Im testing the samples Katie asks if I'm ok. I said yeah just smelling stuff. She says ok, because you look really lost. Really lost how? Is what I want to know. Because I was shopping in your store? I thought that was pretty rude. I was going to buy more stuff but just walked out after she said that. They have really bad training at this store it seems like. These employees do not know how to politely interact with guests. read more

Shopped here once for a Facebook promotion, which I had no trouble using here. The sales associate just asked me to read off the code for her and then helped me with my transaction effortless and quickly. It's a clean store, perhaps a bit short staffed, however. I went with a friend on an early Friday afternoon and there was a good amount of customers in the store with only two associates. A customer had to asked to be rung up on the register Friendly staff but perhaps they just need more help to make things run more smoothly, esp around the holiday times read more

I frequent this spot quite a bit and the store is always kept clean, the staff is always helpful but doesn't follow you around too much and they are always aware of promotions to the point of helping the customer out and using any codes they have if you are unaware. I think this is a pretty good and not too busy store with quick lines and good set up. Plenty of clean samples to try and peaceful shopping. I love it. read more
