I like going to bath & body works. I love their scented lotions and hand soaps. I went here yesterday to stock up on the hand soaps and bar soaps. I love the cherry blossom smell so much. It comes in lotions, hand soap, bar soap etc. This place was busy when I went here yesterday. The staff was nice and helpful and offered me a basket to put all the hand soaps and bar soaps I brought in. There always new inventory every time I go, which is nice. read more

Always have a terrible experience here from the store's cramped space to rude employees to long lines. Walked up to pay for purchase and I had a number of coupons to use. Employee rang me up and then told me my total. I told her that I had several coupons to use. She told me that I couldn't use any including my rewards gift and that I could only use the $10 off $30. There are no signs anywhere stating that I could only use the $10 off $30. I didn't see an email or info on the app that I couldn't use my coupons. read more

I have never been in this place but realized it sells the brand of room fragrance replacements that I need. I had gotten them as a gift. Well, I walk in and see three or four workers crowded around a front table. My guess was that they were doing a training thing of some sort and I actually expected to be totally ignored by them. Well, one worker, the only guy in the entire store, breaks away and asks if I need any help. I told him what I was looking for and he says yes, they sell those here. He leads me into the adjacent room and then hands me off to a female worker. (Yeah, male patriarchy...) She shows me an area of wall space devoted to these things (5 for $25). Wow! Most items had samples and I spent the next 10 minutes sniffing away before checking out. Unfortunately, as I turned to leave, I realize there's a big table with even more selection, but these didn't have many testers to help you choose what you wanted. But, I wished I knew about those before paying. I encountered four employees, including the male manager-type, and all were perfectly friendly. The store was very well organized. With home fragrance being an enormous moneymaker, it appears that the re-launch of White Barn Candle Co. will now return to being a full-fledged standalone; and The St. Louis Galleria has the first location in Missouri. White Barn Candle Co. has many of the scents you've loved at Bath & Body Works but now in total there are over 60 exclusive fragrances; and even the ultra high-end line from Henri Bendel. The store is arranged as a country market with an artisanal-ish feel - I like it. White Barn says they guarantee these are the best candles and if you don't agree you can get a refund. A plus is that White Barn uses lead-free wicks and that ensures the candles will not burn out when it goes from solid to liquid. Since the original Bath & Body Works was split to make the space for White Barn Candle Co. what remains is an ultra constricted space. Several times while reaching for an item I bumped into another shopper or touched another display. When the holidays come and traffic increase that could be quite problematic and will undoubtedly lead to high shrinkage (product that has to be tossed). Trying all these scents your nose will surely become overwhelmed. To combat that, White Barn has strategically placed containers of coffee beans as an olfactory palette cleanser (to reset your nose). I will say I have noticed that over the years the two for sales have increased; it once was two for $20, then two for $22 and now we are looking at two for $24 - anyone else seeing a theme (increase, increase). Keep in mind if you don't go for the deals, you will still have to pay full price for the single item (so a two for $24 doesn't mean that one item will be $12). The Henri Bendel candles sale for two for $50. While these are much more expensive - the increased quality warrants the price and this is considered to be more of a luxury candle line. One qualm I have is they no longer have the essential oils and the burners that once accompanied them. I don't like room sprays because they are filled with chemicals and synthetics that I would rather not inhale. On my visit I went with Autumn Sky (cedar, green leaves & lemon wood) and Eucalyptus Mint (fresh eucalyptus, spearmint & citrus). **Don't forget -please recycle your glass containers afterwards. read more

I walk in. Store is stunning and well organized. Check. I'm immediately offered a hello, and assistance. Check. I'm checked on as I spend an inordinate amount of time here, enough to make comfortable not so much as to feel like I'm annoyance. Check. Excellent customer service, clean and well organized. I'll go back. My one and only plead to Bath and Body Works is to offer more in store promotions. If I had made my purchase online the same day that I visited, I get a free candle, but spending the same amount in store gets nothing.. Not cool. I like the products and am constantly washing my hands/using the sanitizer. I love this place! read more

If you don't immediately get a headache upon entering this place -- CONGRATULATIONS! Sweet jebus, the fumes are usually enough to keep me away unless I have run out of shower gel. Upon hitting puberty, I have chosen to find my perfume elsewhere, but for some reason B&BW & Victoria's Secret remain my all-time faves for shower gel. Sure, they have a select few "adult" scents like Midnight Pomegranate and Twilight Woods, but for the most part, only people that don't care about smelling like a tanning salon and/or fruit garden shop here (AKA 15-year-old with their allowance burning holes into their pockets). It's a necessary evil. Until I find a delightful shower gel elsewhere. read more

I walked in looking for a travel sized spray with my backpack and Macbook inside waiting for my Apple store appointment. I know it's probably odd in the mall with a backpack but i didn't appreciate them communicating about me over the walkie "Here she comes" followed by a saleswoman jumping in my face. This is considered one of their flagship stores - big store, lots of options, always deals. Give them your email address in the store or online and you will often receive pretty decent coupons and special offers. The new "Carried Away" sent is ok but not a keeper. The "Cucumber Melon" sent is classic. read more

I can't complain. I have been here two times. (I don't go to the mall much in general) I went here years ago and got a lemon ( I think) scented lotion. It smelled great. I came to the mall today and was planing on visiting here to look for body wash. Little did I know they were having a big sale! I saw signs saying 70% off If I remember it correctly (was I so amazed that I forgot already?) I got three different bottles of body wash for about $10. One word: Awesome! I'm confused why this location is attached to a White Barn, seems to have separate employees from White Barn, and yet wants to argue over the White Barn specials. Normal Bath and Body Works. They have a big selection of many items. The store itself is nice and well kept. The workers are very nice and helpful. I love the design of the store. Very pretty. If you need shampoo, germ-x, body wash, etc. be sure that Bath and Body Works is the first place you'll go. read more
