I bought this Bath & Body Works candle for the scent -- stayed for the structural integrity. First off, the candle smells heavenly. My entire apartment smelled like a watermelon lemonade jolly rancher within five minutes of lighting it. 10/10 for fragrance. Now for the real kicker: I accidentally knocked it off my window sill. It fell three feet, and broke my sink. I repeat -- the candle broke my sink. The candle? Not even a dent. Still looked smug about it too. If you're looking for a candle that not only fills your home with delightful aromas but could also double as a self-defense weapon or emergency hammer -- this is it. Smells great. Built like a meteorite. Bath & Body Works, please consider marketing this under "Home Décor & Minor Demolition Tools." Highly recommend. Just maybe... keep it away from fragile plumbing. read more

Megan, Melissa, Kailee! they know me when I walk in and you can tell they work so hard. they provide the best customer service but more than that, there's a certain level of consultant-level expertise required of a job selling intangible assets such as scents. I love Bath and Works. I have gone there for years. I just live the candles and all the different scents. This place is always my go to when I am looking for a gift or just some therapy shopping. I have so many of the bath products, hand sanitizers, candle holders. You name it, I got it. The staff at the Coddingtown location is amazing very helpful and I love the fact that they remember things about their shoppers just personal things that you may have shared and it just shows that they listen. I had such a disheartening experience today. I went in to smell all their new fall scents. I went all around the store and took my time to smell a good amount of candles. I guess I took too long for the employees there and they were skeptical of my presence. I could hear them whisper about me and they kept taking turns of which one was going to watch me(through the middle-end of my visit at least one of their employees didn't take their eyes off me) they made it very obvious by basically walking me all the way to leave. As the employee thought I had left she walked away but came right next to me after she noticed I was giving some of the entrance candles one last sniff. She wasn't doing anything else but standing and starring right at me. She didn't care to pretend to be stocking or organizing at least. I will never go there again. The store was very small. The cashier was very nice. One thing I will say is that they should have a trash can. They had the testing papers and I liked that but nowhere to put them on I put them in the bag and made a mess. I will be back at this store. One of my favorite scent stores. read more

I had an unpleasant experience here, completely abnormal as I've been a reoccurring customer here. I went up to the register with a question about a particular body wash and asked if it was apart of the sale. A simple question, I was met with the "manager" eyeballing me at the front the entire time, apparently correcting my actions via walkey takey to the front, the lady then walked me over and showed me the correct sale and answered my original question. The entire time, the "manager" Ian and a co-worker were watching me be guided as if I'm some type of thief. Just standing there and watching me the whole time I was in the store. Idk who this dude is, but he should be let go. I've never seen him before and his action's were not representative of a manager. I likely won't be returning to this store, and going to another one if this is how Ian chooses to deal with reoccurring loyal customers. As per other recent reviews, it would seem i'm not the only one with this issue. read more

I used to love this place until I found out they test their products on animals. I try to stay away from products that do. They say they don't bc they don't do it in America but they still do it. However, the manager at least I think she's the manager, is amazing! Very friendly and knows what she is doing. They have great coupons and I love their candles. I would give 5 stars but the prices on average are very high here and animal testing makes me sad. read more

Well its Bath & Body Works, so does it really need a review? Sure, why not?! This is one of the smallest Bath and Body Works stores I have ever been in. I know what you're thinking - the perfume-y scent is probably weaker than in larger stores. Never fear, it is still just as strong in spite of the limited square footage and hence inventory. In fact, it is so strong that you might just smell the perfume-y scent just walking by the store. This store has some of the best staff in the mall. They are always chipper, eager to help you find what you're looking for and introduce you to new products, and make sure you are aware of all of the deals going on. They are employees that really seem to enjoy their jobs which is always refreshing! Since this is a smaller store they carry fewer bath and body options than most of the bigger stores. If you are looking for something other than your basic bath gels, soaps, and lotions, you may have to resort to going online. read more

I'm enjoying the following scents right now for late fall/ early winter are vanilla iced woods, flannel, black tie, mahogany coconut, and peach bellini. I like the candles more than the wall plug-in versions. I also like a few of these newer hand cream and/ or lotions; including rose, apple blossom & lavender, and autumn blooms. Poor customer service. Had sale sign up, but didn't honor the sale at the register. When we told them to honor the sale, they couldn't figure out how to. No apologies either, so we just walked away. Oh well, their loss. The store was clean and well organized. While we were shopping, they did ask us if we needed help. This poor customer service was a long time ago, so take this review with a grain of salt. Every store has its ups and downs. read more

I attempted to buy three mini body sprays. The sign said that it would be 3 for $7, so I figured it would be a steal. I go up to the counter and the worker says," body sprays don't count but they are 2 for 12 dollars". I was sad since I really wanted them and when I read the sign again, it said that everything at that fixture was included. Some of them were for a friend as well so I had to go to a different location. This made me feel so heated that I felt like the woman that made a bath and body works rant on YouTube. When you frequent a certain retail location over an extended period of time, it's highly likely that you will be on the receiving end of customer service experiences that run the gamut, from very good to poor. I have to say that, in my experience, the Coddingtown location of Bath & Body Works has been an exception to this rule. I have consistently received excellent customer service there, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. It's always a pleasant place to shop. Kudos to the staff and management there! read more

I usually love bath and body works but today I am very upset with them. They have always had a policy of honoring coupons for three days before and three days after they expire. When I went to use it ( like I have many times) and they said that I couldn't because it was on my phone. Why the heck does it matter if I have it in person or on my phone. The manger was rude and wouldn't even talk to us, only the associate. I spend so much money here every year and I will never come to this store again. They lost out on over 100 dollars in sales for that day and much more in the future. read more

Absolutely love this this store! But I hate going to the down town bath and body works where Kayla works. EVERY single time I come In there she is soooooooo rude!!! I hate coming to the down town store because I know I have to deal with her. Soo un helpful, so rude! I rather go out of my way to avoid her and go to Coddingtown.
