I stopped by this Bath and Body works to look at gifts I can get my wife for Valentine day. I was already in the Simi Valley Town Center where this store is located in so it was convenient for me. I thought they were closed at first because the store looked so emptied inside but had the light on. When I walked inside, I was the only customer inside and there was two ladies working. They greeted me and asked if I needed any help but I was just browsing. You do not get cellular reception in here if you have TMobile so be aware but one of the worker told me I could connect to their guest WiFi. I didn't find something I could get for my wife but I found something to get for my daughter. The price was reasonable so I got it. They didn't have a lot of sales going on right now but it's usually during the holiday. read more

As my husband will attest, I am crazy for Bath & Body Works. I tell myself that I'll cool it on getting a new scent as the seasons change, because I have so many from past years that I can bring out again. This year they really hooked me in with some of their special partnership promotions. First it was special releases for "Emily in Paris". How could I resist those?! Not too long after that it was Disney Princesses. Our Sweet Granddaughter's middle name is a tribute to one of the princesses, so of course I stocked up on the scent, body cream, hand sanitizer, and hand soap of that fragrance. They've also made me a fan of their Gingham line of scents. Over the past few years I've acquired many of those releases. The good news is that they are long-lasting; the scents don't go bad prematurely. The pretty graphics and pleasing colors also make it so that I can enjoy displaying the containers in several spots in our bathrooms to add visual interest. I actually do use up some of the products each season, too. If I finish two containers and only buy one, eventually the stash diminishes. At least that's the theory. My favorite body care products are the shower scrubs. Sometimes they are sugar-based, and others might be more salt-based. Some have a silken glow, but still have exfoliating properties. They're great for keeping elbows and heels soft. Lately, BBW has reduced the number of seasonal offerings of the shower scrubs. Some of the ones they are selling are overly sweet florals. I wish they would shake it up more. I'll be keeping an eye on that. Service at this location is friendly and helpful. They keep the merchandising fresh and interesting. Having a small sink to be able to sample the soaps is a nice touch. Belonging to their rewards program yields free products pretty rapidly. Also, they offer special deals all the time on a rotating basis. read more

In spite of the fact that rarely do I see the same folks twice, all of the gals are friendly, hard working and know their products! I order online for pick up when I know what I want and when I don't, I go in store for guidance. I usually buy their candles when on sale but have begun using their wallflowers because glade plugins aren't as fragrant nor long lasting. Well the reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because when I walked in this place. Nobody said anything to me. Nobody greeted me. I was looking like I had questions, but none of the salespeople said anything to me, they were standing right in front of me and did not acknowledge my presence. So it really made me feel uncomfortable, not until I went to the register and then the girl walks over to the register, but they need to work on their customer. Service, because this is the first time I went in this location. And I wasn't being treated like a good customer. I purchased from this location a lot, but today it made me feel very uncomfortable. read more

If you are someone like me with MCS it's scent overload but they have decent products and they always have discounts promos and coupons . The three wick candles I don't purchase anymore because they leave 1/2" unused wax at the bottom so these are not a bargain. Their jar candles do burn to the bottom. I love their thick shea butter body lotions for the winter months . I prefer their "foodie scents" to floral and not a fan of their plug in scent diffusers . read more

This store is great! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The store is clean. I go in once a week or every couple of weeks to see what's new. You can now spray scents which is great! I wish they would add pick up in store option and increase that inventory. read more

Stopped in the other day to grab some hand sanitizers and check out the holiday/ fall collections. Mary helped me out and also spoke with me and took the time to share about the rewards program. Having worked many years in retail- it wasn't forced. She genuinely wanted to chat and help me. That's what customer service is all about! It's easy to want to give up because people of the public can be sooooo cruel but it was so refreshing to meet someone so kind. I hope the town center store never closes. They have the best scents, the best coupons and the best customer service. I recently ordered some items on www.bathandbodyworks.com and had no trouble making returns and exchanges right at the store. They really want customers to be happy. I love their selection of home fragrances and candles, aromatherapy and spa items, and gifts. I never walk out of the store empty handed. (I had to deduct a star just because they sometimes hound me a bit much while I'm trying to do my walking yoga thru the store while selecting just the stuff I want.) read more

What is happening to this place? While they boast many different scents, the actual fragrances are being dramatically diminished. After smelling many bottles, I feel like my sense of smell is diminishing, but I'm pretty sure it's not. I went in here recently to replenish some of my shower gel supply, and I couldn't smell hardly any of the scents. They even told me the scents were "new and improved." Obviously, they knew something was wrong, too, if they had to make it new and improved. Thing is, there was nothing "improved" about it, but it was quite "new" to me that they no longer have any appreciable scents to them. How upsetting. Another place to succumb to the economy problems by cutting corners with their product., I walked out and went over to L'Occitane where the scents are much better....but more expensive, too. read more

While their hours say they are open until 9:00 I got 8:40 and was told they were closed. Although the door was unlocked I entered and was told I could not make my purchase because they already cashed out the register. Then an employee argued that the door was locked. How did I get it? The staff is wonderful and the store is always well stocked and clean. Their displays provide a nice flow between each item and always look well organized. I made a large purchase today but thought I forgot my coupons. I realized after we left that I had them on my phone. We went back and we're helped by Michelle. She had to return everything and RE ring it up again. I had two coupons 20% off a purchase and $10 off $30. She RE rung it in $30 increments so I could get $10 of $30 all 4 times. I even bought another item to hit $30 the last time. Here cheerful disposition and willingness to give me an even better deal was amazing. I just had the worst experience here ever!!! My roommate and I are both pregnant and we decided to go use a gift card I got for here and the woman at the register made me cry! We walked up to the register and the woman first thing asks if we are due at the same time we told her no that my roommate is due tomorrow and the woman then started to talk about how i look bigger and stuff it got to the point where my roommate shushed this woman because I was clearly upset and she wouldn't stop.
