The staff was very attentive, and my gift was carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed in one of their nice paper bags. I didn't change out the bag/tissue paper because they did such a nice job. They have a great selection of the Nora Flemming minis, stoneware, etc. Master of fact, I was just there this week purchasing more of the Nora Flemming stuff for another friend's birthday. First, their shopping cart hasn't worked properly since they made some updates last year. When I try to place an order it says make address is incorrect (it's not). When I emailed customer service they acted like it was only happening to me. But when I called to place my order, they informed me it was happening to a lot of people and that customer service was lying to me. Sorry but I don't shop with liars and those I can't trust. And I don't want to have to call every time I need an order. I often order at night...on weekends...etc. Plus I want to verify that my order is correct myself and not rely on someone else. I've ordered glass from them, but when I do, it's never bubble wrapped. I've spoken with customer service and the assured me they would be more careful with shipping glass (lying, liars gonna keep lying). Last time I ordered glass it came in a giant box with 1 loose sheet of paper inside. That type of packaging will cause MORE damage because it allows the interior box with glass to rattle around. So half of the wrong size candle vessels (yes wrong size because I had to place my order over the phone instead of via website) was broken. I've discussed with customer service that it's really dangerous to ship glass incorrectly because then your customers are forced to handle broken glass. When I emailed them to notify of the damage, they didn't email me back. I've emailed 3 times but haven't been emailed back so now I have to file a chargeback. In the past, when I've emailed customer service I have received phone calls?? Which is crazy. I'm in an out of meetings all day. I don't have time for your call - that's why I emailed. If a customer emails you - email them back. If a customer calls you answer the phone. DUH. But it's clear that their customer service is just full of lying liars and this company is not professional.

We just stopped in looking for something to keep warm when we had visited the parade of lights downtown. They had stayed open late for all the locals out and about celebrating the festivities (smart!). The staff was very friendly and gave us a price quote on a poncho that had a hidden price tag. When we went to ring it up, we finally found the tag and the employee has misquoted us by ten dollars. She just smiled and said "I'll still give it to you for 39!". Very friendly and willing to please her customers. We mostly visited the front of the shop which seemed to be the "treasure" part of the store. Perhaps the antiques are more at the back end, I didn't really have too much time to look thoroughly. However, there were tons of goodies, trinkets and lots of eclectic gifts (drunk piglet wine holder anyone?) to survey. Definitely a place to take a gander!

I browsed the store a bit looking for a certain brand of candle they carry and is sort of hard to find. While walking through the store, and glancing from here to there - I noticed the signature Hallmark cards were located in the back. In the front of store though was a lot of seasonal decor to the left, as well as the next anticipated holiday gifts/goodies to the right. Once I looked around a little bit more, I found so many thoughtful items that would be great gift ideas. Btw, I was never hassled or pressured to buy anything from a staff member.
