The amazingly friendly workers said they could make custom ones for my kids! So we went home with a custom blue and custom pink elephant we saw being made for the same price an existing one would have been. What great service and value! The second time I visited the shop was to pick up the free wax melts that were a part of the Dutch host inn package. Since it was just me I was able to ask about the candles. They pour all of them right there! There was a great selection of sizes, scents and jars. I love that they have lilac, basically my ultimate favorite scent. It can be harder to find. I left with a giraffe candle and a lilac candle (in addition to my wax melts). The shop does take credit cards but there is a four percent fee if you pay that way. If you are going to Walnut Creek farms it is right down the street from the entrance. Definitely worth a visit and a place I'll be back to!

These days Gemini's is running out of the space. They have a huge collection of minerals and healing stones and crystals. I absolutely loved their colorful glass collection, books on tarot, beautiful jewelry, selection of teas, and candles. It's a giant space and there's more tucked around every corner. The second floor even houses leftover antiques. It's a fabulous place to thrift. I ended up leaving with a gorgeous piece of aurora quartz, a hematite ring, a large selenite wand, and a nice size junk of tumbled jasper. All for about twenty bucks. I wanted to get multiple candles, but left with one candle, one really nice shoulder bag (this is what drew me here in the first place, as I had seen it in the window and returned when they were open), and a lip balm ahead of the chilly winter weather that has arrived! I will say the prices here are a bit high, but everything here is of very high quality, and in comparison to the manufacturer or brand websites of the items I purchased, the prices were actually very close in comparison. It also always makes me feel good to support local businesses that are creating the flavor of the city we live in.
