A small wood underneath to level the frameless class

What do you think about this job from BATHFITTERS after waiting for two months this is there job which from day one I was not satisfied and was told by Mr Todd he was going to fix it by patching it up , it looks like they cut the bottom with scissors or there teeth. All I want is to replace the bottom to a complete new one ,what I paid for not this. The frameless glass company was having problems to install because the bottom part is not leveled and they had to put a small wood in the corner of the Bathfitter as you can see

This area - the whole two sided piece next to shower - was supposed to be covered. Says so in contract.

She is professional and friendly and very knowledgeable regarding Kitchen upgrades. We shopped around for quite a while before making a decision on who to hire. Her selection and quality of products are excellent, and her pricing was very competitive. Sept. 30: STILL NO WORKERS, despite our being available each day for most of the month. Nearly 13…read moremonths under contract for a small bathroom remodel, with bad dust throughout our home and the loss of use of most of one floor. Sept. 26: Still waiting for the shower doors guy, the electrician, the plumber, the cabinets installer, and the countertop installer, all of whom were to be here months ago, and each of whom was promised in August and again in early September. And my spouse and I have spent hours cleaning the white dust that is on everything everywhere. This is a company you do not want to hire. Sept 19: The third September week we have been 100% available, yet not one worker has arrived. AND we received a Notice of Right to Lien from one of their major subs, so we are wondering whether all these failures are due to being near bankruptcy. Sept. 8: Over 13 months under contract and work still far from finished. Our home is covered inside with white dust from their cutting tile inside, and we cannot get schedules. For example, we confirmed that they and we had set aside this week for work but it is Monday and we still have no indication that anyone will be here today or tomorrow. We cannot plan our lives. July 25: I was told that this week would be the week that everything would be finished, and this week was wide open for work. Instead they ordered the wrong travertine and we had the choice of either a tile we did not like or even further delays. July 19: The tile and shower installation have not even begun. And even when they are going to do some work, they do not provide info on next day's schedules so it is exceptionally difficult to plan anything. Last week I was promised that all will be made good next week. Early July: News still not good. Approaching a year under contract to remodel a small bathroom and almost only the demolition has been done. My adjacent office has been unusable for most of a year and our home is a scattered mess. The contractors are personable but will not give schedules for subs arriving, so we cannot plan during weekdays. Jamie Weisslender, our Project Manager, was to schedule subs for the next working day and tell us that schedule; she has failed badly at both. Second, one of our biggest delays is due to the weeks it took to acquire an appropriate protective window. The manufacturer was not asked to produce the window until recently, it took many weeks for it to be produced and delivered, and other projects could not go forward in its absence. This should never have happened - I negotiated into the contract a requirement that "Wyman will order, receive, and store the materials, fixtures, and components until all are ready to be used so that the project will go forward all at once instead of in fits and starts." Michael Brown never made any arrangements to timely acquire the window. If it was impossible to.acquire it early, he should have said so; if it could have been acquired early then it should have been. I give Michael and his employer only 1 star because of this over-promising and then breaching the contract. A month later and they are still not delivering either on time or as promised. It is March 25, 2025, and no remodeling work has begun. A month later: Jamie and Michael have missed two more promised dates, and no work on the main project has begun. They have now had a significant amount of my money since last August with no visible progress and no schedule. Contracted with Wyman on August 8, 2024. Paid 50% of price that day. So far a big disappointment. Both Mike Brown and Jamie Weissleder have great ideas and promise wonderful work, but neither has ever once been on time, the required permits were just applied for February 6, 2025, and not one item of work has even begun.

Our 2nd time around our project manager was Paul and he was a major help with both his expertise, on time arrival, and managing the project throughout the entire work process. We just finished working with Wyman again as well as my in laws and we couldn't be happier with the company and Paul the project manager. A+ company as always and a highly recommended manager.

I wanted to like this store and the owner. But what was delivered was unsatisfactory, especially…read morefor the price. You can't really inspect the vanity if you live in an apartment because they will not remove the covering before it is brought up to the apartment and installed. Upon removing the cardboard packaging, and shrink-wrap, I found a nick on the quartz top, a cut (more like a "gash") on the left side of the vanity, and drawers that don't align or close to be level with the rest of the body. The last items especially cannot be known until the entire vanity is fully installed. The owner offered to replace it with another vanity. There are several problems with that -- one is removing the installation, which would include undoing the plumbing, and finding a way to bring it downstairs again, when bringing it upstairs was difficult enough. And the probability that these problems with the drawers not aligning will likely exist with the new vanity, since it has to do with sloppy construction and bad design. It's not likely that the piece that I have is the only one with these issues. Curiously, the handyman who installed the vanity showed me that there were holes drilled on the back of the vanity, as if someone had planned on attaching a mirror. That means that the vanity is either returned to the store or "manufacturer" or it's a second hand piece. As for the gash -- that is the most offensive flaw. I suppose I'll have to repair it with wood filler and live with it. What I have asked was that I be given a discount for these flaws. I hope the owner will change his mind and agree to do so.

I showed her photos and videos of what I love/like/my personal taste; each room turned out seamlessly perfect in every way--beautiful, functional- -absolutely sensational. Also, she has your back with everyone involved in your project every step of the way. For those who get stuck on her fee, just don't...she is worth every penny! She presented me with optional layouts for each room to be renovated. Our kitchen, master bath, guest bath, laundry room and powder room were all completely remodeled from floor to ceiling. She also helped me choose all the lighting not only in the rooms she remodeled, but in our entire home doing exactly what I needed from her...she didn't let me make any mistakes. I can't begin to say how thankful I am. Our home is gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier. Words cannot describe what a breathtaking home Barbara created for us. We started with a simple renovation that, due to the state of our existing structure, became an entire rebuild that took much longer than anticipated..Barbara not only made the process bearable, but I'll say this... I wouldn't have maintained my sanity without her. Photographs of our home will be on her website soon, she and her photographer were here last week executing the shoot, so I can't wait to see the photos! Working with Barbara was a true pleasure.
