This park is a real gem and well kept secret in Summit county. Probably because Bath is out of the way from most places, but thankfully only 15 minutes from me in Fairlawn. I highly recommend you stop and take a walk here if you are in the area. I wouldn't know it was there if it wasn't for a drawing class I took years ago. We took a field trip to the park for a project. It's been equally as beautiful every time I returned. It's relatively small. I would compare it to a Metro Park. There are several interconnected trails. There are ponds (with swans), a dock for fishing by the research station, and paths weaving in and out of the woods and fields. There aren't many inclines so it is easy hiking. There was only one downside the last time I went. My friend and I got lost because there were no maps. But it's so nice, we didn't even really mind. read more
