It's a small coffee shop inside of a rock climbing gym and the vibe is super chill. The barista was really cool and friendly and I ended up chatting with her and another patron for a while. She said they do not offer any frozen blended drinks and they don't have decaf but other than that they can pretty much do what other coffee shops can! I ordered a wildflower latte (orange and lavender syrups, which I'm pretty sure were made in house) with oat milk and it was delicious. So glad I stopped in...thank you, Basecamp Coffee Bar!

It's in a little strip of shops in Richfield and there is parking out back. I walked in and was greeted by the two baristas right away. They had several specials and a lot of syrup options to choose from. I asked if any of the syrups were made in house and they said only the maple and cake syrups were. As such, I went for an iced decaf latte with the cake syrup for me (I love a house made syrup) and ordered the marshmallow moon s'mores latte (the Krista) for my husband. They have oat and almond milks as alternatives for a $1 upcharge (which is a bit steep, in my opinion) but I opted for oat milk in my drink. Both iced beverages were tasty and the service was friendly. I got the drinks to go this time but it looks like it would be a nice spot to hang out and meet a friend for coffee, which I'll probably do next time. You can book this mobile Creamery to show up to any event according to the website. The owner that I chatted with was really cool after trying a sample of an ice cream for buying a couple of cups for ourselves. It's got a nice retro feel to it and it gets a lot of great customers from observation. Overall, it's a great small business to support!

They acquired the back office suite and turned it in to a lounge with booths and couches and a pool table. Now they have three bathrooms instead of one, and plenty of room for the after-school visitors they tend to attract.
