Wow, I didn't even know you could get such perfectly natural looking eyebrow tattoos. I absolutely love the bespoke brows and lash enhancement services that Angela did for me. I don't normally wear makeup, and prefer a natural look. I usually only filled in my brows to put myself together, and even that was a hassle by my standards. My eyebrows are sparse and do not grow in the full shape I would like. I found Angela's work on her instagram page and knew she was exactly what I hoped to find. Ok, I only got my brows done but I love Angela so much that I want to keep going back to see her so I'll have to get a full face of makeup tattooed on. She is thorough. I almost felt like I was in a therapy session with all the discussion we had about my eyebrows. It was a very interactive process with both of us trying to figure out which one of my crooked eyebrows we were going to try to mirror. That was a little bit of a task. We spent the most time on the shape until we got it exactly the way I wanted it. We went back and forth on the color and she kept mixing and adding until we got exactly what I wanted. I mean, eyebrows are important and they need to be just right! I think we probably spent a solid 15 minutes mixing colors to get just the right color. She was gentle. I FELL ASLEEP WHILE SHE WAS TATTOOING THEM. It almost felt like a facial massage. I am constantly furrowing my brow, probably because my face is crooked so the pressure of her hands on my brows while tattooing was a great rest for my forehead muscles. How do you fall asleep while getting a tattoo? (OK, I've never gotten any tattoos before so I'm assuming it's not something a normal person would fall asleep from.) When I finally woke up to my new face I was stunned to see how perfect my brows looked!! I go most days without makeup but my eyebrows are so light (and crooked) that I wanted to have them done so look like I actually have eyebrows. Now I can get up, wash my face, mascara, go. It may seem odd to some people, but going to see Angela is still of the best decisions I've made in my life. I have suffered with trichotillomania for over 14 years, and I've gone through periods of extremes where I basically have no brows and the compulsion is relentless. Trich really impacts self-esteem, and it doesn't help that people don't understand it and stare/judge (and also say things like "just stop"), making it all worse. I used to wear makeup any time I'd leave the house, but it got exhausting and expensive, especially when I things got hectic in my schedule and in my budget. I started looking into permanent brows late spring 2015, and I had a consultation with a different artist who was closer to where I lived and also less expensive, and I also set one up with Angela about a week later so I could weigh my options and go from there. I didn't even need to waste time and think about it after I met Angela however, as she was incredibly professional, welcoming, friendly, and understanding of my condition. She did not make me feel like I was any less of a person for my brows (or lack there of), and it was a huge plus that she was familiar with trich and alopecia. Angela was dedicated and precise with her work, from measuring my facial features for correct and natural placement and shape to getting the right color for my brows, all whilst making sure I was comfortable and happy, asking me what I thought and what I wanted every single step of the way. The procedure was completely painless, and her aftercare directions were simple and easy to follow. I felt confident just leaving her office, which is something I haven't felt in a long time, even with all the makeup in the world (nothing beats a natural looking brow, and lets be honest, it is still obvious with the best makeup). Angela does natural, perfect strokes that look like real hair. I have gotten endless brow compliments, and the best part was knowing they were consistent in shape every day and I didn't have to put on any makeup. Another huge plus: I was on a really tight time crunch when I got my brows done in July 2015, and though a follow-up is usually 4-6 weeks after the initial appt, I was leaving the country during that time frame and wouldn't be back for a year, so Angela moved around her personal schedule to get me in for that follow-up right before I left and didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing her. The procedure was worth every single penny and then some, as Angela completely changed my life, my esteem, and even helped my trich immensely. I still suffer daily, but ever since, I've been able to stop being afraid of "over pulling it" because I know my pari brows are still there. I had such a great experience at Pari Permanent Cosmetics. I chose to go there because I loved the pictures of permanent eyebrows that I saw on her website. All of them looked so natural, which is huge because something permanent is going on your face. When I went in, Angela really took her time with me. We took as much time as we needed to pick out the perfect color to match my hair and the perfect shape for my face. I never felt rushed. When the procedure started, I didn't respond so well to the numbing cream. She continuously applied numbing cream and extended wait times to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible. I got my brows done on the 15th and I am so displeased. I have lost sixty pounds and I wanted some brows to enhance my new look in which I am not happy with her work. Angela has asked me to return to fix the unevenness of my brows but I will not take the chance on messing up my face even more.
