I have such short & sparse natural lashes that extensions really make me feel "normal". I come every 3 weeks for a refill and love the way Shanna sets them as they feel comfortable! I really hate that I have to write this review, but hopefully this is perceived as a lesson to both parties. I am completely disappointed (is an understatement) in the lack of customer service I have received. This is so unfortunate that I have to come to the conclusion of writing my review on this location because I really did love how Shereja does my eyebrows, but I will not be returning. I want to start off by saying, I should have payed attention to all the red flags from the first time I came here. But since I am a very understanding and patient person/client I shrugged it off, but after today's incident I can not keep pretending that this business cares or values me as a customer. The first time I ever visited Madlash I had to wait an extra 25 mins after arriving 10 minutes earlier for my eyebrow appointment with Shereja. I thought out of common courtesy, if my appointment was scheduled for a certain time and I had to wait almost half an hour, I would have received some type of discount for the lack of time management? You know- to leave a better impression so the client comes back. My time is just as valuable as anyones, whether it be the person giving the service or receiving it. Today I had an appointment with Shereja for my eyebrows at 3pm, and when I arrived I was greeted by Shanna who seemed confused why I was even there. She told me that she didn't realize Shereja had anyone booked and that she was out for the day. Which made me question, "Why wouldn't anyone bother to let me know this prior to my arrival?" But again, I'm an overly understanding person so I said ok.. is there anyone who can take me today? So she let me know she could do my eyebrows but I would have to wait an extra 30 minutes because she had to finish a client. So I waited and I really wish I would have just left. Shanna was very sweet, but that doesn't make any of what happened ok. I don't know if Shanna normally does eyebrows or if she was having a bad day or whatever the reason is, but my eyebrows are destroyed. And I just really, really wish I would have actually looked at myself thoroughly, but I was already in a hurry and only saw them at a glance. So once again, I expected some type of compensation for my time being wasted and not being notified that Shereja had called out, but I didn't- so I just paid and went on my way. I got to my car and I was backing out and saw my brows in the rear view mirror and couldn't believe what my eyebrows looked like. My skin is burned, my eyebrow shape is trashed, one eyebrow is thinner and the other is thick and patchy. I use to have a really nice shape and worked so hard to get them there and I'm sure every girl understands this. I expect only exceptional service and I didn't receive that. HELLO! What a difference a dedicated professional makes. I got my lashes lifted awhile ago by a different salon. The salon didn't specialize in lashes and it seemed like a recent add on service. The person who did my lashes at this old place put the treatment on and left me there for a long time and once the procedure was over, my lashes were lifted, but some of them were so lifted that they started to curl back and they looked weird. I didn't have anything to compare them to, so I figured it was just something that happened or maybe my lashes didn't take the treatment so well or maybe TOO well. HAHA... I decided to give it another try with this new place I found on Yelp. They specialize in lashes and I'm telling you, I'll NEVER go anywhere else after my experience here. The salon is beautiful, clean, smells so inviting, is in an easy area with great parking, contactless payment AND you can make an appointment online with ease. I honestly felt kind of like I was getting a facial, that's how comfortable and delicate the procedure was. During the procedure, she got up maybe twice to grab something, but other than that was always sitting and watching how my lashes were taking the treatment. It was awesome! This lash studio is extremely unprofessional. I am a new client (only 1 appointment) and they cancelled my fill last minute for some clearly bogus reason. They rescheduled me to the next day and then had the audacity to tell me yet again they needed to reschedule. I was running late due to the last minute change and she called me, in a huff, asking when I would get there. The audacity to act impatient was honestly laughable. 3.5 stars. I wanted to give MadLash a higher rating because the place is nice and clean, the tech who did my last lift was very nice and worked quickly, and it was super easy to make an appointment. Unfortunately, the lift just isn't holding up. I was told they would last about 4 weeks, and after only a week, my left eye started falling and now after 9 days, there's almost no sign I had a lift done at all, while the right side looks fine. The first photo was day after they were done and the second is from today. It could just be an anomaly, but I'll probably try another place to see since this was my first lift. read more

I went to MadLash about 4 weeks ago and received a signature set of lashes. I was really excited as it was my first time getting individual lashes. This lash salon is lovely - I was extremely comfortable laying down and getting the lashes. Thank God the lash technician was patient- at times, I couldn't keep my eye from twitching! Nonetheless, I loveddd the outcome! The lashes looked so natural and were beautifully wispy. I contemplated keeping them on and going back for a fill in at 3 weeks but to be honest, it was kind of far from my house and I just felt like $90 every three weeks was a bit much (personal opinion). The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the way the lashes came off. Like I said, I've had them on for about 4 weeks. After the first week, my left eye started losing lashes disproportionately to the right eye (I sleep on my right side, do not pluck, haven't been wearing eye makeup, nor using oil makeup removers). This is not the business! One eye still looks rather filled and the other has a huge gap in my lashes with about half as many as the right. Great experience! I'm just not sure it is a 24/7 thing for me! read more

I had a "correction lift" after having a very over-processed lift elsewhere 2 months ago. I can't believe how much better my lashes look now! Kayla took the time to make sure EVERY lash was pointing in the proper direction (even the weird ones that were growing out of odd places!). They look 100% natural and I can't wait to put on some mascara in another day to see how they look. I can go to work without ANY make-up on my eyes and feel totally put together. They were all kinky and pointing in different directions before...now they are perfect. Will definitely be back. Everything about MadLash is top notch. I love that I could make an appointment online. The salon is tastefully decorated and extremely clean. I immediately felt relaxed there. There is soft music playing in the background, warm and cold beverages available, and many magazines for you to read while you wait (I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment). Shanna had me complete a questionnaire and then asked me how I liked my lashes to look (instead of simply putting the same standard set on everyone). She covered me with a soft, fluffy blanket (because I always get chilly) and quietly did my lashes. Shanna is such a warm, pleasant person who is very skilled at what she does. She is an expert at lashes and only does lashes( instead of being average and providing multiple services). The difference is major. She is the best in the area. I've been going to Madlash for over a year and I have had only positive experiences here. And that is after going to two other lash places before. I had issues with previous places overbooking and either making me wait for 20+ minutes or rushing through my appointment. Madlash does NOT do this and I can't tell you enough how wonderful that is. I was super nervous about someone poking around my eyes! Despite my nerves and twitching, Shanna was extremely patient and accommodating with my lash service. I just moved into the area and figured that I would try out a new lash place. This place is adorable! The decor in there is cute. It's very calm, quiet, and relaxing. For a bigger girl, the tables are wide enough for me to be comfortable, which is a plus! I got my lashes done by Tiana, she was very calming and immediately took me into the room after I finished my paperwork. She asked me how I wanted my lashes. I told her but I think I may have been too broad. Personal preference, I could have had lashes a little longer and thicker but I only got a signature set, so that might be why. She was so gentle and took her time looking at my eyelashes from different angles and everything to make sure they were perfect, and they are very well done! She dried my lashes and then I open my eyes... and you know if you get your lashes done a lot the glue can sometimes be very very strong, to the point of you crying! This was my first eyelash extension service and the experience was wonderful!! Shanna was my technician!! She is amazing!! She explained the process before, during and after. After my lashes were installed I was given a mini brush to care for my lashes as well as home care instructions. The shop is very clean and professional. You immediately experience a sense of peace upon entering the salon. Masks are worn the entire time and hand sanitation is a requirement (provided at the shop) prior to beginning the service.
