As our conversation continued at the checkout, she pointed out a great sale they were having on double and triple A batteries, which I really wasn't interested in, but ended up buying because of the sale price, and as Trinity pointed out, it's hurricane season! I went to Batteries+ ( We Fix It) to fix a loose glass screen on my cell phone. The guy told me the battery was expanding, which would make sense. Added services them included repairing the screen and a screen protector. They said it would 30-45 minutes. In the end, the new glass did not work and they replaced the old one. We discovered, however, the battery was fine ( just aging). I was on tight schedule and didn't have time to replace the old battery. We were going on an hour at this point. So, I just said to keep the new battery and put it together so I can go. Although I was not charged for the glass or screen protector Batteries+ was not punctual, utilized faulty material, and provided unnecessary service. Poor Customer Service!!!! I brought a light bulb for a track light in November 2019 they call me within the week advising they don't have the track light. A guy from the Altamonte Springs location advised they will give me a different comparable light. I order this this product online with 5% off for online orders with a pick up at the store to find out they complete change my order to the different light bulb with no records of the light bulb I actually order. I would not have a problem with it until I notice it was not comparable and it was a complete different brand and size. It was much smaller and would not fit the track light that it was needed for. How did you think it was comparable. The sale person was completely unaware of the order change with no notes in the system until I show the ordinal order confirmation on my phone. I was told they will provide me the actual bulb once they order it and it come in. Well now it January 2020 I still have no light bulb and I completely forgot I pay for something over the holidays and never received it I received this email survey asking how did my services go after picking up the light bulb. Well horrible because I spend my money and never received the product or a refund but received this email regarding services. There was a lady being helped at the counter by a young man but in the five minutes I waited, not only did no one greet me, but also neither did either of the two employees in the little side office come out and offer to help. Until my husbands watch battery need to be replaced. In good timing we got a flyer in the mail for any watch battery replacement $5.99, which I thought was a good deal, considering I think it's usually at least $10 at other shops. They were pretty busy for a Monday afternoon, but we only waited about 5 minutes. The guy took the watch to the back and replaced it. I also had a coupon for a free 8 pack of AA batteries, score! Love love love this place. I first called best buy for my issue regaurding a camera I simply wanted to know if it worked. You see I don't have a charger and the battery is dead there for I don't know if its in working order. They said for 50 dollars they could take the camera apart and see if it was working. Obviously they didn't get the question simple as it was. I called batteries plus and they said "we could put a live battery in it to see if it works no problem no charge". Loved that news because I don't want to pay 50 dollars just to find out it doesn't work. Turns out it was mearly a battery issue and I purchesed a charger for 50% less then best buys. Please don't bring your I phone there to have cracked screen repaired. I brought my I phone 6S plus there. After 3 hours, they had did something wrong to cause 1/4 of the screen to be grayed out. They suggested that I keep it there for someone else to make that repair that they caused. I left it over night. The next day, the home button was broke and does not work. Several days later, I am still waiting for the part to come in. You would think that they would at least put the $10 glass protector on for free but they did not. They charged me what they would have charge me anyway and it has been 4 days with the phone in disrepair. Not only that but it feels uncomfortable with many people having full access to all my phone info. Not good. Not happy. Best to go to a phone store not a battery store. While shopping for light bulbs or batteries may not be high on your list, I have to say I love going to this store. This one is close to my office so I'll pop out if I need batteries for our many devices at work or if I need something for personal use. It may not be the cheapest, but the employees there are really knowledgeable about the products. If it's an odd battery or light, I just walk in there, hand them what I have and say I need this. And they always know what it is. Yesterday I went in thinking I needed a new battery for my garage door opener. Now, they could have just sold me a new battery. Nope, they test them first. Stan tested the battery and said there was nothing wrong with it and wouldn't feel right selling me a new one for no reason. One time I went in there looking for a blacklight for Halloween decorations. They have them but the sales guy told me what they had in stock probably wouldn't help me and told me to check Spencer's.
