Went here last September to get my iPad screen fixed. They mentioned the full service warranty but I was very firm that I was not interested , and they fixed it. My iPad still has some areas where the Apple Pencil doesn't work but that would've been a couple hundred dollars more and at that time I just needed a functioning iPad asap for work. Overall, if you go in understanding that just like another business, their job is to make money- you won't have a negative experience , imo. If I could give 0 stars I would. I really just want my Xbox back and fixed. I dropped it off June 2nd and it is currently June 25. When I dropped it off they said it would be done by that Friday at the latest, Friday came and went- I visited over a week later to ask about the progress- they said they had called me to ask for my permission to get it sent out to be repaired although I had never received a phone call from them. Another week went by and I visited the store again and they said that they had called me twice now asking for permission to get it sent out and I STILL had not received a single call or email, I said yes please send it- and they said it would be done within 3 days and be sent out that same day I visited. Come to today (about 5 days or so since my last visit to the store) I call them for the 5th or 6th time and someone actually picks up the phone (which has only happened once this month) and they told me they still have not received my permission to get my Xbox sent out- they said they've called me (which they have not) and supposedly it is now getting sent out. It's genuinely shocking how this business is handling repairs and customer service. Please god just return my Xbox to me fixed. I've received 3 different dates that it "should" be fixed by and all but one have passed. PLEASE just call or email your customers- keep communication open and don't make empty promises! I brought a watch in to replace the shattered screen, was told it would take 1 week took 2 that was okay. But while had a new screen it was not glued and pressed correctly and resulted in the whole screen falling out hours after it was received by my son. Brought it in for a warranty claim and after 4 weeks of promises and finished by dates I just picked up the broken watch for a partial refund. I feel they scammed us. My wife called me and said she broke her screen but she went to this location of UbreakiFix and they fixed it for $120. However, I told her that she didn't break her screen as I noticed that the glass screen protector had cracked. I only needed to install a new one. UBreakiFix charged her $120 to replace a screen when they surely would have just replaced the screen protector. Dishonest in my opinion. read more

Went here to get my Apple Watch fix, with screen replacement because I was unable to enter passcode which is disabled, to open watch icons. I got a phone call the next day and was told watch was ready and could be picked up. So, went to the shop and paid the bill and picked up my watch, but the problem is the watch is still unable to enter passcode, which I had given them previously. This is a case where I break U did not fix and I paid well for it. Originally headed here after a phone call to confirm their hours and services, I wound up at a competitor's store. While one issue was fixed by the competitor, they had run out of replacement iPhone batteries so I headed here, to my original destination. And I was glad I did. When I arrived at the store on a holiday weekend, a short line was ahead of me. But after a few minutes, I was at the counter and explained my phone's need for a new battery and was told by the employee the cost and the approximate time it would take to replace. Sure enough, within the stated time frame, I received an email notification the phone was ready to pick up at the store. The phone has had no more battery issues. Definitely will return if/when we experience further smartphone issues. Bonus Tip: Wait, there's more! TL;DR - UbreakIfix made things much worse. We brought in a laptop with broken glass and agreed to the repair. When I picked it up I immediately noticed the bezel around the screen was barely attached and missing 3 covers. The "technician" said he'd lost those covers, and the tabs that hold the bezel were almost all broken. This was not how I brought in the laptop. Just the outer glass was broken. The bezel was complete. I asked for the manager and was told the "technician" I was dealing with was the manager. He told me they'd done their best to put it back together!! I refused to take it and called corporate where I spoke to Daniel. He seemed good and let me know he'd investigate it. When we spoke again he basically told me too bad. UbreakIfix wasn't going to do anything about their employees breaking the bezel. I don't know what the store told him, but he made it sound like there was a hole in the screen. Nope, just the ultra-thin outer glass was broken. If it's hard for them to do repairs without breaking bezels then UbreakIfix should stop trying. Instead, I was told I could pay them $150 for a new bezel to replace the bezel they broke! They returned it to me and returned a 4" piece of the bezel! That's it, seriously, all that's left is a 4" piece! So, no, I definitely do not recommend them. read more

We had an iPhone fixed by the store and after taking multiple hours to repair, the screen had lines going through it at pick up. They then kept the phone for another hour to replace the screen again. After going to pick it up for the 2nd time, the home button no longer worked... they shrugged it off and explained how to add an "on screen" home button. Then the phone screen legitimately started to crack while pushing a button on the screen. I just left a different repair shop and the shop owner did the repair in front of me. It took the wiener approximately 10 minutes to fix it and he showed me MULTIPLE issues with the previous repair. This "U Break I Fix" store failed to add multiple "shields" that are in place to protect the phones from getting damaged. They even left a piece of plastic on the inside of the phone from the replacement screen. He also explained how fragile the home buttons are on IPhones and from the poor replacement believes they are responsible for messing up the home button. Do NOT use this store if you want to get your phone back and it function the same as before it was broken. read more

I don't say this lightly but this was truly the worst experience I've ever had with ANY business. Submitted an online appointment to fix a Galaxy J7 screen and received an e-mail a few hours later that the part would need to be ordered. The email said to reply and state whether I wished to continue with the repair as it would be 2-3 business days; I replied yes, but also asked to confirm if it would be done by Thursday (4 business days later). I did not get an answer. I went into the store the next day to ask about it and was told it should be done by then. On Wednesday I called to check and see if the part was in and I was told no. As I was going out of town, I noted I would come in after I got back in town. The next week upon my return I called again. Still no part. I asked why and they said they didn't know, but I was told they would overnight it. This was a Friday, so it should have been in Saturday. On Saturday, I hadn't received a call, so I called back and was told it still hadn't come in and tracking showed it would be in Monday. Now I'm started to get really frustrated as it's been over 2 weeks. Monday, today, comes along and I don't receive a call. I call them around 3 and am told it's not in and to call back later. I called less than an hour before they closed and was again told it wasn't in, and they had no idea why. At no point in this process was I, the customer, ever notified. The irony of the recording I heard each of the 5 times I called and was placed on hold wasn't lost on me: the voice says "we keep you updated every step of the way." Clearly, this is a lie. It took 5 calls and a visit from me to get no information, and I still have a broken phone. Take your electronics, and your money, to somewhere that cares about customer service. read more

They quote me that day that the fix was going to be $76.56 I get a call on 4/27/2020 they told me it took longer cause they didn't have a battery to test, understandable. When I show up to pick up the IPad on 4/29/2020 The person drop a charge of $110.00 from the top of his head, When I ask why the difference on price he said there was no notes from the repair person. A week later they told me, after me calling them, that they would have to send it out for repairs. And they would call me back. They also told me that it would be a week and a half. A little over two weeks later, I had to call them. They said they apologized for not calling me. And they would call me as soon as they knew. Another week later they called to inform me that it had the blue light of death. Which it didn't have when I took it in. So their reasons for not correcting the issue was to not call me until I insisted. They're recording when you call them about the conversation being recorded is useless. Because it's obvious that they're not communicating with their customers or even with their own coworkers. When I finally went to pick it up. First time there. We made an online appointment and arrived almost on time. They were nice. They fixed my boyfriend's iPhone 6 that had water damaged. It's 75% working but it's better than what it was doing, which was restarting over and over and not charging. Front camera doesn't work so no selfies or front camera FaceTime. Wow, I just had the worst experience ever in my life at UBreakiFix, I simply went to this store and ask them to replace an iPhone ear piece, the guy was trying to be nice by offering not to change the piece instead offering a cleaning, I was like okay let's give it a try, he said that will take 10 minutes, 10-15 minutes later, I went to pick up my phone and I found that he made two little holes in my ear piece, he basically poked the speaker with some kind of a nail or something to have the ear piece work, what is the hell is this? Is this some kind of a joke? I did not complain because I did not want to hurt the kid or get him fired. I was patient. Then he offered a refund for 29.99 which I have paid. I said okay politely and I just wanted to leave without causing any problem to him. He asked me to insert my card to receive the refund but then for some reasons, he said the refund won't have a receipt. I gave up and leave but I was really pissed from how careless is this guy, I tried so hard not to cause any problems for you but you did not really care and you tried to scam me and not refund me for what I paid. My son dropped his phone, a couple times, and it was basically destroyed! Pieces of the glass had cracked off, the screen was all messed up and pixeled, the touch was doing its own thing and randomly calling or opening apps. I took it to uBreakiFix and in about 30 min it was like a brand new phone! They had a good price, we added the tempered glass with the 2 year plan, hoping to avoid that bad of damage again. Thankful for this company! I was due for an upgrade for my iPhone with my service provider. The phone had a small crack on the corner of the screen, which my carrier told me immediately makes the phone ineligible for a trade in or upgrade. The phone had a bunch of problems and glitches that would normally be covered by the warranty (5 months old), but because of the cracked screen, I was stuck with a phone that didn't work until I paid it off. If I wanted a new phone, to pay for both a brand new phone as well as paying off the remainder on the busted one. The deductible for insurance was ridiculous. I thought I had it covered. I went to ubreakifix and they fixed the screen. Their price was SO much less than the deductible on the insurance. Beyond that, the staff was friendly/helpful.
