I bought a phone battery today in the Dunedin store. First I had to wait a long time for the sales rep to ring up the purchase. It took a long, long time, he was very slow. He told me the wait time was an hour then changed it to maybe an hour or a little more. I was back in an hour and was told gonna be 30 to 40 minutes more. I couldn't wait that long so came back 5 hours later after I confirmed on the phone that my phone was ready. I had to wait some more, for 20 minutes before I was attended to. There were 3 other customers just waiting as well. On top of that the technician said he broke the screen and didn't offer to replace. All in all a very frustrating experience. read more

Your warranty is Awful. Batteries are overpriced and battery was not even a year old and would not honor warranty. Do not buy from them. Battery date 12/23 failed 11/24. Anything to get out of replacement battery. Better off buying a Walmart battery. Cheaper and more reliable. read more

Long overdue positive review from June 2023 -- Both store associates I spoke with about replacing my car battery were friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I shopped around for the right battery and replacement service for 1-2 weeks and wish my search started at BatteriesPlus+ in Dunedin. One of my requests was to keep my car connected to 12V power so as not to reset the electronics in my vehicle during the battery replacement. Once I made an appointment and the team was able to recommend the right battery the replacement process was easy and fast. Stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a new watch battery. I guess they may have moved as my other review from 2017 is attached to this business and it was when they were on US 19 in Palm Harbor/Clearwater area. I had a coupon for 99 cent battery so thought I would give it a whirl. The last time I had my batteries swapped out they did not last long (not at this store) so I figured maybe try someplace different. I was out the door in maybe 5 minutes. Super friendly staff. Very clean store. Organized and not over packed with junk everywhere. They also have a $20 battery for life program. Which, if I had done that on my other watches, would already have paid for itself. I honestly wasn't looking forward to this stop but they certainly did a nice job with customer service. Definitely recommend this store. read more

My daughter's iPhone 8 plus needed a new screen after she cracked it. They fixed it. However, the audio would no longer work but on speakerphone. The manager, Tony, said that this is common in iPhone eights and that He just needed to order a part and he would call us when it was in. My daughter never received a phone call. When we called back to see if they had the part he pulled the ticket and said that there was no notes on the ticket to order a part or that anything else needed to be repaired and they were not going to honor it. They are unreliable, do not know what they are doing and broke my daughters phone. I do not recommend them. Do NOT go to their business. read more

I came in with a key fob for my van. It was used and preprogrammed from another vehicle. For 35 bucks and a minute of my time, I was on my way with a programmed fob. The dealer and locksmiths wanted 80.00 and couldn't guarantee it would work but if still have to pay. If you need anything programmed, batteries plus is the place to go. read more

Called store Saturday morning about 15 minutes after opening and Jack said he could replace the glass for my old iPhone 6 within 45 minutes if I could bring it in right away. Great, friendly service. My iPhone lightning charging port was malfunctioning, so I scheduled an appointment to have it replaced. The woman at the counter said they have the ports in stock, but wanted to check something first. She took it in the back room and less than minutes later came out and told me it was fixed. There was dust in the port, which she cleaned out. No charge!! I was expecting to pay $90 for a new lightning port. The store has an amazing collection of batteries to power pretty much anything. They also took my old 12 volt rechargeable FIOS battery for recycling. I'll be back when I need batteries or flashlights, or if my phone needs service. read more

Worse buying experience I've ever experienced. The one associate that helped me/checked me out was rude, never made eye contact, was bothered by me being there and snapped at me when I asked how business was with a "good I guess." They almost made me feel bad about buying a $140 battery from them. Then I get in the car only to notice the battery was opened and the packaging was ripped. Payed $190 to get my iPhone fixed. After a week the whole phone completely stopped working and I was refused a warranty and not even a refund on the fixes, after about the fourth time coming in because there's never a tech on the clock that could help me. I brought my cracked Iphone here to have screen replaced. After they replaced the screen a few days later I started getting white squares in the middle of the screen. Phone would start going crazy and I couldn't get into any apps or send texts. So I googled the problem and it said when people change screens they can mess the internal hardware up. I did not feel comfortable going back there so I took it to the Iclinic and sure enough they used after market screens and the one they put on was defective. Iclinic gave me the screen to take back to batteries plus. My advice is don't take your phone there for repairs they really don't know what they are doing. Went in to get a new car battery about an hour ago. Batteries Plus price was $50 less than Firestone for a battery. Tyler was quick to install the new battery with care and there was no additional installation or disposal fees. I was done in less than 15 minutes.
