Bought a very good ($300.00) truck battery in December 2025. Drove the truck 2x a month, started it up every week and let it run for 30 or more minutes. Had no problems even below freezing. Had a medical problem in the family and couldn't get out to start or drive the truck for the last 2 weeks. Battery deader than a doorknob, not even a click. Got it jumped, took it to the same location we bought the battery from. They tested it, said it was only 3 volts and had to be at least 10 to claim the warrenty. They put it on an overnight charger. No calls from them about status. When we called, Mike stated they could only get it to 7.5 volts and thereby voided the full warrenty we paid for and would not provide a new battery. Voided the warrenty on a 5 month old battery because it would not hold a charge? Since when does this make sense?! Never again! read more

So I went to the battery store. They would not replace the battery on my watch. Something about warranty on watch. I said I don't take it swimming. They still wouldn't not change it. They did have 2 different tile batteries they replaced. Also they showed me how to open tile for battery replacement. This was a plus. The batteries were expensive compared to other places. My Iphone battery was slowly dying. I was going on vacation and wanted to get this resolved before we left. i had a great experience with another Batteries Plus in another area, so I went on the website for Fairview Heights and they had an appointment at 9:30 the next morning. I got a confirmation email immediately that said my appointment was set. I also received a text at 7 AM the next morning saying my appointment was set. I got there at 9:15 and was met with "we tried calling you twice yesterday to tell you we didn't have your battery in stock". I confirmed the number they had was correct (not remembering they had texted me 2 hours prior) and it was. No voicemail, no missed calls, confirmed they had the correct number. Their story didn't add up...I would have been fine if they would have just owned the mistake and admitted they dropped the ball. I went to the cell phone repair store across the street (CPR), they got me right in without an appointment and my phone works great. read more

Spent $1800 on 4 AGM batteries. The employee told me I would get $30/battery back through rebates. Sent it in, got 2 battery rebates, but not the other 2. So I resubmitted. After not hearing anything for a month, I called and was told (and it's in there) the fine print limits it to 2 rebates per house. I mentioned the salesman said I would get 4 rebates.... The national number called the owner, and the owner was going to contact me to make it right. This is the bad part, never received the phone call. Go to the glen Carbon location. Had my rear glass replaced on my Samsung S10 due to dropping it without the case on it. I have had a case on it ever since and stopped using the base charger because thats how the incident happened from not putting the case back on after charging on the base. The glass they used to replace it is complete garbage. I took the case off to use the base charger after having it on for the 3-4 months since I had it replaced and it was shattered in 5, yes 5 different spots on the edge like it had side impact. My original front glass is in perfect original condition. Yes, I admit, I shattered my original rear glass in one spot without a case on the phone. With a case on the phone, the aftermarket glass is completely trashed. Falling off in pieces. When the original normal glass shatters, it doesn't fall into pieces. You're going to tell my I abused my phone so bad that I shattered the back along the side(from side impact) in 5 different places with a case covering it and my front glass is perfect an dis unprotected. They say they are a samsung dealer and use original samsung glass. BS. there are no samsung markings on this glass. They sold me a warranty and say it only covers the front glass. WTF would I buy a warranty and not expect the rear glass to be covered. Do not use batteries plus for phone repair. I've broken the glass on my phones maybe 3x in my life. I care for my phones. The guys that work there are courteous and only doing as they are told. Service was prompt and professional. Products are garbage and they know it. I went the Fairview Heights, IL location. Not sure why Yelp thinks I am in CA. I will update with photos once I get another phone to take the pics of this one. read more

We picked up our LED bulbs here on pennies on the dollar compared to other name brand stores and now save a fortune on our electric bill. On top of that our phone got repaired same day at half the cost of the leading competitor and even came with a free warranty. With out a doubt we will for sure to be back if we ever need anything again to visit this friendly fair priced staff. read more

After 6 visits, I'm done trying... they replaced a watch battery with one that had a "lifetime warranty". Lasted a couple of months. Went back for the warranty replacement and they had no record of replacing it...no warranty. Had them change the battery in my car key and now the car no longer recognizes the key...back to the dealer to repair it. Garage door opener battery lasted a month. Twice, tried to get batteries for cordless drill repaired...told that no one does that. Got it done online. I would not trust them with a pack AA's anymore. read more

I was ready to throw down and argue with the guy and he said, "Ok just sign here and we'll install your battery for you, for free" WTF??? LED light bulbs! At the battery store. How about that. Better price than the box store, and the guys answered my questions about them really well. I didn't know most old bulbs were "outlawed" now. wish i could give this a zero honestly. i took my iphone 7 plus here to get my screen replaced because it was cracked but when they gave me my phone back the microphone did not work. i brought my phone back into the store to get it looked at to see if i needed a different screen or something and they told me that i never got my phone fixed there and the screen's serial code was not registered in the system????? even though the paperwork that had my freakin name on it was right in front of him????? the man helping me was extremely rude so i left and came back again to see if i could get a better answer. when i came back this time i found out that the man who had been rude to me was in fact the manager which was very frustrating. the man i talked to this time was nicer and told me that they had in fact worked on my phone there WOW SHOCKER but that they couldn't help me. i went to verizon and got a whole new phone through insurance thank god. beware of this place lol read more
