Okie, so I did have some trouble deciding what to rank this business. But i without a doubt feel a 4 star is befitting as I will definitely return to this place in the future; however I couldn't make it a 5 because of the amount of anxiety the visit caused. Around March 15th I took my iPhone 7+ to the "phone expert," a gentleman named Kevin at Battery Plus. My phone had decided to shut off and was not turning back on. Not surprising as I'd spent weeks having to wrap charging cords in a certain way while holding my head at a specific angle and hopping on one foot praying (jk) to get it to even attempt to charge. The slightest movement caused by a notification making me have to try to figure out the correct way to wrap it again. This was the most pressing issue but when I say my phone had been put through the ringer, I most definitely mean it and that is putting it kindly. After discussing everything that was wrong with it with front desk staff and Kevin and discussing prices, expectations, etc. I was given hope that my issue could be fixed. Upon picking up the next day I discovered that it now had the charging port issue fixed so I was able to turn my phone back on, but now had a whole new issue and then some. Now my phone was unable to make outgoing phone calls, part of the screen was not responding to touch, and I was unable to record video with sound. All pretty important! Because of the damage to the phone originally it was risky business opening it up and this was in detail shared with staff but it was a challenge that Kevin did decide to take on. It was really unfortunate that opening the phone triggered so many other issues. I was already stressed having a phone unable to be turned on because it couldn't hold a charge; dishing out unexpected funds for an iPhone 7+ that sucked and then to be told more money was needed to get more items fixed which had malfunctioned while in their care had me quite overwhelmed. After some back-and-forth and a little bit of high stress levels on both sides of the counter I left my phone with them to fix again. I was contacted by the manager who spoke with Kevin and both decided that they would fix my phone and all its issues plus a couple more that I did not expect and not only did they not charge me for the cost of labor or materials for these created issues but they refunded me in full for the original cost of fixing my phones charging port! I did not expect that at all; at the very best I was hoping for having cost of materials to be my only financial burden, but their customer service saved my wallet a brutal beating, falling more behind on work, and it saved my opinion of this business being a 2 star. They took the time to guarantee if ever in need of a cell phone repair tech or a battery for anything that I wouldn't hesitate returning to them. Kevin really was quite knowledgeable about smart phones and I could tell that he had earned the title of expert. Also the gentleman who was at the counter (unfortunately I've forgotten his name - tall with dark brown hair) was absolutely stellar. He was patient and kind and was really good at diffusing stressful situations while multitasking his work duties and satisfying other customers. Thank you for helping me out with the repair but going above and beyond with customer care. FYI this business Had so many varieties of batteries and seemed able to fix almost any phone issue, but also had quite the assortment of cases, cords, window wiper blades and fun lighting for your space, along with other goodies. Went there to get a new key fob programmed. I had purchased the fob off the internet and brought to batteries plus for the programming. In attempting to program the new one, the originals became deprogrammed so I had no working fobs and had to manually enter my car! I had to get new fobs at the dealership! The manager, Robert, was very apologetic and made things right financially. I have to take some of the blame for buying the fob on the internet. And I suspect if I had gone to B+ in the beginning, they would not have been able to purchase an extra fob for my car in the first place (it is a relatively new car). read more

Rob helped diagnose my battery as I had been having starting issues for some time and was worried that I would need a new battery. Terrible service. Clerk made it clear she didn't think she be working on a holiday (Labor Day). Asked about a battery for my key fob and she changed it without mentioning that there was a significant up charge to do so and that I could easily change it myself by purchasing the batteries (told me after she'd done it). I told her that if I had known I would have bought the batteries. She then tried to sell me a plan that would have been close to $50 for two fobs, lifetime changes. I didn't want that so she tried the 1 change option ($10 more than if I bought the twin pack twice. ). Finally she agreed to let me but my own and install, took out the ones she'd installed. But made sure to tell me she's not supposed to, like I was asking something unreasonable. Then I couldn't get the packaging open without scissors. After trying repeatedly I asked for scissors , which she handed over with a grudge. She had opened the fobs and laid them out for me to change but put them out backwards so it took me awhile to figure that out. She was, in a word RUDE. Awful store, we've been 3 times and each time has been a haggle to get what was advertised on the website or on the shelves. We left a motorcycle battery there too for testing and they ended up forgetting to give us all the parts back. The most recent visit they had a cell phone battery advertised online for $10 cheaper than in the store and would not honor the price. They also had a coupon code online for $10 off and would not honor that either. The store employee claimed he didn't know how to find the advertised coupon online. Save yourself the trip, it's not worth it unless you're looking for a headache and to pay more than things are worth. I found my cell phone battery online elsewhere for a better price. read more

Went into this place about a month ago to get a battery replaced for my car FOB. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's the remote to the car. I've had the original battery for 2 years, new. My vehicle started to display the battery low on the dash indicator so I went into this store to get it replaced. I had never been in the store and it is called "Batteries Plus" so I thought I am bound to get the right replacement. Wrong. Buyer beware, since it's on me to have not looked at the battery that was being put in. It's now a month later and my vehicle lit up the indicator to replace the battery. Varta (never heard of this battery) was the brand that was sold at I believe $7. The clerk asked if I wanted to spend $30 for a lifetime replacement and I declined thinking hey it's probably going to be another 2 years, not. I see why they offered the warranty if the battery is only going to last 1 month. read more

Not pleased what so ever , i gave one star just like a person leaves one penny for a tip. I recently had the glass replaced on my iphone 4 . I dropped it off and was told an hour an a half so i wasted time in town cause i ride a bike i arrived an hour an half later i walk in and ask about my phone he had a puzzled look on his face then asked the guy fixing my phone how much longer. I hear in the back ground. I still haven't got the original parts off yet so it took another hour an a half . I get there and the guy said that he had to replace the battery as well an charged me for it when i know my battery was just fine. He made a mistake and made me pay for it. I get home checking my iPhone i figure out that the camera now doesn't work.i guess im gonna suck it up cause i dont have insurance on my phone i cant risk them breaking it and blaming me. When i dropped it off he went through random tests making sure everything works and it did. They go through your stuff and break it and you end up paying in the end !
