The stuff was unfriendly and I felt scammed. I walked in, nobody was present in front. I looked around and found a six pack of batteries labeled on the shelf for $4. Waited about 10 min for someone to come out from the back. He refused to sell them to me and said they were for commercial clients only. He said they are intense batteries and as such couldn't sell them to me. He said he had some house brand batteries instead that were the same but could be sold to consumers and were even cheaper! So he runs around the store and grabs a different six pack of the exact same type of battery. He goes to ring them up and it's $22. I'm like what the hell? He apologies, walks around the counter, goes to where the batteries I grabbed originally were, takes the $3.99 price tag off the wall, crumples it up and put it in his pocket. He then comes back around the counter to tell me he won't reduce the price from $22. WTH? It was like being in the twilight zone. read more

Ordered car battery and then called to verify. Arrived. Battery not in stock. Offered cheaper version. Charged $13 for installation. Website said it's free. Ended up costing same as the better product. Employee apologized but no matter. Go someplace else if you don't want unpleasant surprises. read more

Stopped in 3 weeks plus to see about a screen replacement for our sons galaxy s7 phone. Apparently they needed to order the screen and said it should be in within 3-5 days and would call. Well a week and a half later I called them and they told me the screens would be in the next day and would call? Well guess what, no call again. It's been 3 1/2 weeks since my first visit and I called again and spoke with Nick, he put me on hold and over 15 minutes later I get dumped on the call. I call back and the phone rings and goes to voicemail to leave a message. So, I have left a message to call be back in regards to the screen status. The change in the weather caused my car battery to crap out so I called Batteries plus to make sure they had the battery I needed in stock. I provided my vehicle information to the guy over the phone and he confirmed the battery I needed was in-stock. I asked about installation and if I needed an appointment and the guy said nope just come on in. When I got there 20 minutes later to buy the battery, he said they don't install batteries on an Audi. Well that would have been nice to know before coming in since I told you what kind of car I had on the phone. Don't bother coming here if you actually want your car battery installed. read more

Got the battery replaced on 12/21/2018 and during the swap the screen was damaged (which is ok, because things to go wrong during the swap) and I was told a new screen was going to be ordered. This is were this store screwed up.. As of today 1/15/2019 I still have the bad screen on my phone and every time I go to the store and ask for an ETA, they keep telling me a that someone will check and will call me back the following day or in a few days.. of course no call... it's a shame! I am recommending to anyone who listens to avoid these stores, but especially the Lake Zurich IL location.... read more

Called ahead to confirm they had the battery in stock. Drove over. Dark Bearded salesperson was less than helpful. Asked to look at the battery so I released the hood but had difficulty finding the latch. Salesperson just stood there, no offer to help. I asked him to do it. He said, "I don't know where it is" Got the hood open and he told me he couldn't replace the battery cuz a couple things were blocking clear access. When asked if he could remove them, he said We are not mechanics here. What a crappy attitude and very unhelpful. I drove 2 minutes south on Rand Rd to Advance Auto Parts who, tested my battery, alternator and starter and said I probably don't need a new battery. Even though they had the battery in stock for my watch, they very HONESTLY said they do not replace Tissot watch batteries. They referred me to a nearby jeweler who did it (for only $10), but he had some difficulty getting the case open. So glad they had the INTEGRITY to refer me, rather than take my $$ and damage my watch. Thank you! read more

Terrible, went there after I made an appointment for a screen replacement on my iPhone 7plus, on 6-11-2020 in the evening. The guy there said he plugged a new screen in and my phone was no good something internal was bad. So I thought that I'd get a second opinion because a new phone wasn't really in my budget. And I had a feeling the guy was probably on his phone for the hour I was gone. Went to local place X cell wireless in Round lake and the guy had a new screen on it and it was working like new within an hour. I will never take anything to the Lake Zurich store again. read more

Ill Start by saying I normally never write reviews, but when I got back home and their page was still up on my computer I had to... What great service and an amazing place this is! I stopped in for a new watch battery and was going to drop it off and pick it up in a day or two thinking it would take that long. They had it done in less than 4 minutes. They were so nice and while I was waiting and looking around at other things they had there, the other employees saw me waiting and asked if I had been helped already, not just ignored me. I ended up getting 2 other things from them as well. In looking at what else they had I saw they have car batteries and asked if they do testing, one of the guys said they do and immediately came outside to test mine as it had died a week earlier. He could have just as easily told me I needed a new one (after all I even told him it was 4 years old and died recently, what more could you ask for to try and push a sale on someone) but he said "nope your good", and didn't try to push the sale. Try going to a place like firestone and asking, im sure they will tell you 1000 things are wrong just to try and sell you something. I wish more places were like this. Everything was very well priced too, this isn't just a specialty shop where everything is 50% more just because. I wish I remembered the names of the people who helped me but it was a woman and two men, they were AWESOME!!!!! read more

Gentleman on the phone was friendly; however, couldn't find my model laptop in his system. Didn't have the expertise I would have expected for a store that specializes in batteries. Do not get iPhone replacement screens here. The screens they use are a much lower quality which cause colors to be washed out.

I bought 2 deep cycle batteries for trolling motor. Ten months later, both wouldn't hold a charge. They wouldn't honor the guarantee....and would rather debate about it. Sorry boy, don't have time to deal with the bah bah bah on why you don't feel you should honor a year warranty after only 10 months.
