Keeps my iPhone7 working by cleaning and able to replace my battery. He is very helpful and do not feel I am overcharged.

I recently walked into this location, spoke with a gentleman by the name of Austin. He was the only one working and had so many other customers. It was around five in the evening and I needed to get my phone fixed not only was he so kind gracious as well as, understanding that I needed my phone back in the evening he went out of his way to make sure I had it back on time. This company is not good when it comes to honoring their warranty for batteries. The service people were cordial, but no help with the warranty. My two Duracell deep cycle batteries stopped charging a month before the warranty expired. Battery Plus instructed me to bring them to the shop to be tested, which I did. They denied honoring one of the battery warranties outright, blaming the malfunction of my solar charger with no evidence to that effect. The second battery charged up to 10 volts and I was told it was ok. Here is the strange thing: when I brought them in for testing they looked perfectly normal, but when I picked them up they were deformed and looked ready to implode, Obviously they had been over charged, but the company denied responsibility. These batteries cost $300 each. Buyer beware, their batteries are over price. read more

Kind of crazy actually and maybe the manager was having a bad day but... I went in for a very small battery, called and they said they had it in stock, great. My bad did not price check, went down and Bang $21 for 4, LR41's. Wow, kind of high, but thought, it is what it is. The more I thought about it, did a quick google Search AND 4 bucks on amazon for 4. Right, went back thinking the clerk made an error, as it was a 4 pack, no biggy, yet whoever was the manager Wow, wrong guy for the job. I explained I needed to return it instead of asking me what the issue was he just snaps Then why did you buy it? I replied because I needed the battery but not at 4 times the price.... I'm new to this area and needed a new battery for my iPhone. As usual, I checked yelp and found this Independently owned shop and decided to give them a try. They are close to home and was easy to find. They did great work and it only took about 30 mins. And very responsibly priced. I was very happy with the service and staff. Had an emergency situation with some water and a bag of rice. Ran immediately to my Batteries Plus store and they removed the stuck rice. Cleaned out the charger area and all is right in my world. Recently visited this location after purchasing a car battery online for pickup in-store. I received an email saying my order was ready for pick up. Upon arrival at the store (after a fairly long commute) I was promptly told by a less-than-courteous clerk that they did not have the battery I ordered, but that she can sell me a similar one for $100 more than I already paid online. Not falling for the bait-n-switch tactic, I demanded my money back. She explained, rudely, "that's why you call first." Why should I have to call when I receive an email saying my order is ready for pickup?!? No thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one, is that the shelves look very stocked for any OTHER battery you may be after. And, this may be more of an online ordering issue, but the comments from the store clerk were not necessary. Beware the bait-n-switch tactics if ordering for in-store pickup, they may not actually have what you paid for! read more

Have to say, I never saw this type of store up north. I have unusual bulbs in bedroom. It's an older bedroom set with lights in the headboard for lack of a better description. Lowes always carried them till they didn't anymore. Move down here and I see this store, Batteries Plus. I'm renting and last week my smoke alarm battery fades out. I have every sized battery. But of course this is a small lithium. I have no idea why lol. Yup!!! Batteries plus has it and my bedroom bulbs!!! And the best is....how kind and helpful they are here. I'm disabled, use a walker. And unable to stand too long. They came outside to my car....forgive me I don't remember manager's name, possibly Jason, and second trip Jimmy. Really went out of their way for me. And those bulbs are on order for next time!!!! I needed 3 and bought the 3 they had. Wonderful experience and so helpful and considerate. I will certainly be back!!! Thank you guys!!! read more

They do not honor warrantees on their batteries. The first thing they do is accuse you of "misuse" even before they ask a single real question that has any bearing on the battery itself. Then they just say "there's nothing I can do" even if the battery has 2+ years of warrantee left. I'm sick of dishonest people like this. Go to Amazon instead! I prefer to buy local, but not from people like this. read more

HONESTY... a quality that is often lost when business puts profit above patrons, but a gentleman at this store just did something amazing, and deserves credit. My sister brought an iPad in for repair, she had broken the screen. Or so she THOUGHT... she was called the next day and told that the crack was in her screen protector and not her screen. My sister thought he was mistaken but he showed her and was not charged for the inspection. She got a replacement screen from the company she bought the original for just $5.99 and he could have taken her for a few hundred... but made nothing at all... but a lifetime customer and a stellar recommendation. Every time I go to this store there is only one old guy working at snail speed. And if there is a second guy working he never comes out of the back, claims to be working on something. I took my daughter to this store to see if her cell phone could be fixed. We arrived 10 minutes before closing. The gentleman replaced the screen and fixed a few other things about to go bad, the phone works like new. He locked the doors at 8:00 and continued to work on the repairs for another 30 minutes. We cannot thank him enough. I will go back if I ever have a problem or suggest to others to use their service. read more

Super customer service - called for advice on an iPhone screen repair and they asked me to come by to take a look at it. 15 minutes later I arrived and they inspected my phone for free. We agreed that my issue was caused by a swelling battery - nothing wrong with the screen, and I got my battery replaced in 15 mins - screen problem resolved, all for $60! Highly recommended for knowledgeable advice, fast service, and good pricing. If you schedule a service on line you get $10 off or 50% deal on batteries - way less than an store! read more

I purchased a Duracel battery for my Wave Runner. The Manager at the store assured me Duracel makes a great battery for wave runners as it was the first time I had seen this brand of wave runner battery. She also convinced me to purchase the 2 year warranty an assured me if anything at all occurred it would be replaced. The battery ran perfectly for about 40 days then simply died after having been out on the water for 2 hours. I charged it for the next 24 hours and it simply would not restart my wave runner. I changed batteries with my 2nd wave runner and it started right up so it is clearly the battery. I took it back to the store where the same manager tested the battery and claimed it passed the test therefore there would be no exchange. So, I now have a $170 battery including warranty that is 45 days old and won't start my wave runner and won't hold a charge. Is this a great deal or what? The store refuses to stand behind their product. I will never return to this store and I would encourage you not to as well! read more

awful experience . Went to get cracked screen fixed for $79 on phone. Said they could not get screw out it was stripped and bent. Also phone that I purchased new was not new and possibly certified new. Long story short took it back to purchased store and they wanted to make things right. Took me to CPR cell phone repair store and told me it was indeed factory new and whom ever tried to work on it stripped the screw and bent it. CPR fixed it in 40 mins and charged me only $55. read more

So I've never been in one of these stores before and I honestly wasn't sure what it was. Well let me reassure you it is exactly as the name reads. Batteries plus bulbs Lol. We came here last weekend because Brandon needed a new battery for his motorcycle, and it seemed like no one else had it. We must have called 3 different places and stopped in at 3 others finally to arrive here and BOOM there it was just sitting on a shelf in stock and for almost half the price of one of the other places quoted us. The store wasn't very big but they had a lot of stuff in there. Tons of batteries and LED bulbs as well as other knick knacks and odds and ends. The staff was very helpful and very nice. Although there were only 2 people working and about 4 people in the store sort of waiting around for someone to break free, we didn't mind waiting since it was obvious an extra person would have been a waste once the traffic slowed down. overall great experience and sort of a cool little spot. read more

Do NOT go to this store. While there, at least two people came in complaining that their lifetime batteries were dead. In my case, they were to install a glass on my iPad. When I went for pickup, I found that there was a heavy shadow on it that was not there prior. They kept if four more days and the result is that they completely destroyed the iPad. It jumps from screen to screen, prints in duplicate, doesn't follow desired screens, etc. They wanted to send it to Wisconsin to be repaired. I have refused as it appears they are incompetent. I will take it to an expert and expect them to pay the bill IF it can be repaired. If not, they will pay for a new one! read more
