My husband & I and my neighbor love Batteries Plus in Middletown. We purchase our light bulbs and batteries there. Today, I took several watches in to get replacement batteries. One of my favorite watches had been sitting in my jewelry drawer for several years because the last time I took it to a watch replacement shop to get a battery (approximately 5 years ago and I'm not kidding), I was told that since it was such a nice watch, the "battery" would be much more expensive and was quoted a price to which I declined. Today, I decided to try Batteries Plus. The manager explained that this watch had no battery, but had a sensor (or something like that) and that they were much more expensive and I'd have to take it to a jewelry store to get that replaced. He then told me that if I would start wearing the watch, it would likely start working again and that I just needed to wear it more often. He said that if wearing it didn't work, to then take it to a jewelry store, but to make sure I wore it consistently for a while. Much to my surprise, he was correct. The watch works perfectly after wearing it for one day. He was very helpful and saved me a lot of money! The staff at this store are always very competent and friendly. They have helped us out on many, many occassions. read more

I regularly use Batteries Plus on Shelbyville Rd in Middletown, KY due to their expertise, availability of diverse types of batteries and extended warranty on the NiCad batteries in the key fobs of my two cars. Service is fast and reliable plus they often have deals on multi-packs of AAA, AA and C batteries. I recently bought a car battery for my KIA with an extended warranty as well. The price was comparable to other nearby vendors and saved me a long wait. Easy access and hours. read more

I dropped my laptop and it stopped working. I was hoping it was something simple like knocking a connection loose. I took it in and they said they'd call me after they diagnosed what the problem was. Nicholas called me back within an hour and told me all he did was disconnect and reconnect everything and it seemed to do the trick. I had my computer back! I asked him what the cost was and he said he really didn't do anything and for me not to worry about it. I mean, C'mon. Where do you see honesty like that anymore? Forever grateful. read more

Every time I walk into this place the staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if it's possible to have a bad experience here. I've had several car batteries replaced here, even in the worst of weather and the guys are always very gracious and ready to help. Not equipped to handle any item worth value! I brought a Michael Kors watch there for a simple battery replacement and they ended up cracking the faceplate, lied about it, then laughed it happened, then told me they had to send it to the jewler. When it was returned, the watch then had condensation inside and I brought it back. When I asked for an update a week late they told me the seal had detoriated and it wasn't their fault but wanted to charge me an additional $20. I infromed the female clerk this was unacceptable, she waived the fee as if she was doing a favor. The watch returned dirty inside the face they replaced and now I'm responsible for bringing to a jewler on my own. Ridiculous, unacceptable! Don't go there if you have something of value. read more

Caution!! I brought in auto key fob with weak signal for battery replacement. Tech said he replaced the battery but showed no signal and FOB was bad and needed to be replaced. He said FOB replacement normal price was over$300, but could sell to me for $206. I left store with my original key FOB which now did not work. I called several local places and found locksmith which could order new FOB for $125. Locksmith provided new FOB and programmed, works great. I asked him to look at old FOB and he replaced the battery and is now working fine. I now have 3 FOBs. Wonder why Battery Plus said battery was bad and needed to be replaced. Be Aware of their practices. read more

My buddy bought a battery here weeks before I did and they never filled , prepped and charged it. It was basically useless. Idk why I was expecting mine to be any different. Sat in traffic for an hour to get there in time before they close and they stated I needed to come back toMorrow because they forgot to fill, prep and charge the battery. They were literally dead and just sitting around on their hands. Get some workers that'll actually do something. read more

I had my iPad and iPhone screens repaired here. I have to say that their price was not competitive and they had to make two attempts to repair my phone. The fee for the phone was 169 vs 115 at the Apple Store. The staff is very friendly and professional. Just I would recommend the Apple Store over Batteries plus based on price alone. read more

don't buy batteries from Batteries Plus, their warranty is a sham. I bought cell phone batteries from the above store, I paid $40 for the battery because they had a lifetime warranty. after about 3 months the battery started draining quickly and it would last less than 6 hours. I took my phone to the battery plus store, first I was told it was a limited lifetime warranty! they never mentioned that when I bought the battery. than I was told to leave the battery in the store for 3 days while they run the test. I asked them for a temporary replacement battery for 3 days and I was told I would have to buy one. I got fooled once but never again! I recommend nobody should buy any batteries from these shysters! read more

There is a female employee that works the counter and has a bad attitude.We purchase mobility scooter batteries that have a 1 year warranty and one needed to be relaced.she said there was something wrong with my scooter ..we were told they checked the batteries to fine out later the machine was broke now the other battery is gone and they won't replace it without testing the battery and last time they kept the batteries for4 days to find out later the machine was broke. Saying it was my scooter we had it checked to find out their machine was not working.we went to the expense of having the scooter checked and we were not told the truth from the beginning. read more

Don't get your iPhone fixed here! Miranda the manager is rude and useless.. I had gone there a month ago cause my iPhone was cracked and my battery was dying quick. They had fixed it and just told me to drain the rest of the battery life and charge it again up to 100. Then to have a screen protector cause the glass is gone extra fragile now. So a month after the battery was dying again cause I'm sure they just put in a used battery, they called me and said I had liquid damage that if I had a child then it was probably the baby's fault(assuming I had a son cause they saw my background of my phone) I told them there's no way I had liquid near my phone, it was from you guys. And on top of that they had never explained to me that it was going to be easy for liquid to come thru. I was talking to Miranda which is the manager and when I was looking at my phone I noticed that my side of the phone wand fallling apart, it wasn't even sealed at all and I told her you guys didn't even fix it and she kept accusing me of neglecting my phone and that I don't take care of it because I was the one that broke it. I said yes I broke it and trusted you guys to fix it, if they weren't gone fix it the right way then I would have wasted my $200 somewhere else. Miranda was just rude. I told her I wanted my money back cause they did a half ass job on it and she said the only way she could give me the money back is if she takes there screen and battery back . The female employee working the counter on 11/8/17 is not meant to work in customer service. She is very arrogant, condescending and just plain rude. When I told her I wanted to get my daughters phone back to her by the end of the day, her response was, "we do spoil our children, don't we?" Maybe she does, but I do not. When another guest was asking about his phone battery she treated him like he was an idiot. She implied that his phone was so cheap that she had never seen one before. She said she couldn't get it open and handed it back to him. The entire experience was uncomfortable and unpleasant. The shame is, they were able to fix my phone and I would have sung their praises had the customer experience not been so poor. Sorry Battery and Bulbs but you will not see me at that location again. read more
