The workers are nice here. Be aware that if they order anything and it is not the correct item, you will still be required to pay shipping charges and restocking fees. I took a special light bulb in to buy replacements. I brought in my light bulb and they ordered 10 replacement bulbs for me. When they arrived, they were the correct base size but the wrong bulb (they were itty bitty bulbs). I was refunded for the bulbs, but not the fees for shipping. Needless to say I was disappointed that I would have to pay anything at all for something that they ordered incorrectly. This store does a lot of business and it seems they have satisfied customers. I have used Battery Plus at this location for a few years, at least since 2018 of my previous review. I trust their products and their guidance in selecting the correct product for my equipment. I google other sources and get multiple alternate brands and off-brands for what they offer. Sometimes I pay a little more and sometimes a lot more than an unknown product. I truly enjoy my relations with my team at Batteries plus Bulbs. I was there tonight. I found that their USB cabling to, at least, my Samsung S8 plus android phone, was great with continuous use of their cable. Other cables degrade and become loose making it. My car fob for starting the car went down the gutter during a strong rain. They replaced the fob at a much lower cost. The employees are very helpful in identifying the best product to use. Do Not get your phone screen repaired here. I had mine repaired and had already taken the old screen off. They had me sign a paper saying they were not responsible for any functional issues that may have been caused due to me having removed the old screen myself. (Totally understandable) so I signed. Only to have my phone screen falling off a month later. When I took it back, the guy put my screen back on and it would not functional all. He told me I was responsible for buying a new screen. The other store manager met me in the middle but, I still had to pay 100 out of my pocket for that guy not putting near enough adhesive in the first place. When I tried to get in touch with corporate they wanted me to call the store! I don't need the run around again about how I signed a sheet of paper saying they weren't liable. Not ethical at all!!!!! So I dropped off the battery on 10/20/22 (I was still going to pay for my services) In the mean time I continued my work/days normally waiting on the call. Here we are on 3/30/23 still never received a call regarding pick up so i decided to call and spoke to Ian claiming they are not a storage unit and I should have already picked up. I explained to him it slicked my mind to come pick up because I was supposed to be getting a phone call that never happened. I just find this whole situation phony. If I could give this place zero stars I would. worst customer service experience I have ever had. avoid this place. take your business somewhere that actually cares about customers. This company as a whole has a huge disconnect as to what is promised or advertised on its website and what goes on in its actual locations. I understand that these may be locally owned franchises but if you want to benefit from the corporate advertising- you should be willing to follow through on the convenience of having business brought your way through the website. Set an appointment on Thursday Aug 17th to have my phone repaired at 7:30pm and received a confirmation online that my appointment was set. Made the 20 minute drive to the store and when I arrived, on time, and stated that I had an appointment, the man working at the store refused service to me. The guy couldn't care less about what was promised, and after showing him my confirmation email, stated that he would not fix my phone because "he didn't get an email." Frankly, this guy needs to be fired - and what was further embarrassing for this location is that he couldn't even tell me what the owners name was. "Uh, we just call him Doc." I came here today to get a battery replaced on my watch and didn't realize my watch actually had three batteries in it. While it was getting worked on I was informed that while changing my battery out they had dislodged one of the pieces on my watch. They called a watch repair place in which they work with to get it repaired ASAP. Though it was a little inconvenient they replaced all the batteries and had it repaired to perfect condition at no cost to me. I have them a 5 star rating because they went above and beyond to resolve the issue. The batteries that they sell are cheap, and they do not know what they are doing as far as customer service. Being in the electronics business myself, I was horrified to hear the things that the people that work there were telling their customers about the batteries that were being brought in. It's obvious they have zero knowledge of what they are selling or servicing .I would give this store zero stars if it was an option. Plus, I've heard horror stories from friends that the Apple stores sometimes keep your phone for days. A year or so ago I purchased two extremely expensive batteries for my boat to run the trolling motor. I have never paid this kind of money for batteries of any kind. The only reason I made the purchase was they were warrantied for 5 years , or so I was told. A few weeks ago I discovered one of the batteries was not taking a charge and was so hot it couldn't be touched. I returned it to the store where I purchased it and the manager said he would keep it overnight and try and figure out the problem. I returned the next day and was told it was ready to go. I installed it and went on my way to the lake to do some fishing. Within a couple of hours the battery was dead and hot again. I returned it and it was replaced under warranty. The battery that was the replacement did the same exact thing. I called the manager and was told that it was my equipment that was faulty and he would not warrant the battery. I have tried to contact the manufactuer but no success. Now I find out that the company is out of business and have hundreds of bad batteries out and nothing will be done about the problem. If you go to purchase a battery from these ''thieves'' beware. The product is NORTHSTAR EXTREME and they are junk. I have been a customer here for a long time at batteries plus but never again. I I purchased some bulbs at the Batteries Plus Bulbs Azle Avenue store in Lake Worth before I paid I asked if I could return them if they did not fit my ceiling fan they told me yes I could. I went back a few days later as the bulbs did not fit my ceiling fan I wanted to exchange them for the size I needed but they said since the package was open they would not refund my money or even give me a store credit. I called the store in North Richland Hills and spoke to Sean he said he did not care if the package was opened of course he would take the bulbs back I went in got my bulbs got even more for some other light fixtures Sean was very helpful and fantastic customer service I will not be getting batteries or bulbs anywhere but at this store. Had a great experience here yesterday. Needed a battery for my car remote. He put it in. Tested it and I could hear my horn honk. Then he walked over to complete the test with his handy-dandy remote tester that he informed me can test any kind of remote(great to know!!) I was out of the door in less than 10 minutes!!! Davis Blvd in North Richland Hills, Tx I am a speaker and needed a way to run by projector and laptop without electricity. I went here on July 1 with my projector to make sure it worked-I was sold a small 12 volt Duracell battery, an inverter and the charger. I also noticed they replaced ipad batteries so I brought mine in the next day. they said it would take one day. I did all this in plenty of time before I flew out on the 9th to AZ. On the 6th I called to check on my ipad and I was told that it was on its way to Weatherford to be fixed and there was no one at that store to have it fixed before I left. Upset but I said I would get it when I got back from my conventions. The battery did not work and my speech was ruined so I went to a local AZ BB store and they said it was way too small for what I needed. From there I flew to CA for another convention then came home and went to the store. They refused to refund my money since it was past 2 weeks even though they sold me the wrong thing. The manager, Sean, told me that I did not bring my projector in. (basically called me a liar) He kept the battery to charge it up overnight to see if I used it. I told him it would go on and off but wouldn't work because it was too small according to the AZ store. I took my "fixed" ipad which did not work after I waited 3 weeks for it and paying for it. The next day I came back and they were only going to give me store credit for the battery and they wouldn't refund the inverter because it was out of the box. I also told them the ipad's battery didn't work. Sean told me to drive it to N. Tarrant or Weatherford myself to get it fixed, even though I had already paid for it. He also told me he called AZ and that nobody there told me that the battery was too small. I asked him which AZ store he called and he said he couldn't remember. (basically I was called a liar again) there are 10 AZ sores and I didn't say which one I went to. I called corporate and Michael passed me to Kate. She called me once and left a message and I tried her four times without any response. I called Michael back who appeared to have sided with the BB store saying "two sides of every story". I told him to give me Kate's superior and I left him a message. Coincidently, Kate calls me. She said she would contact the owner of the store. After 3 weeks she calls me and asks a few questions and another week goes by and she calls again. This time she tells me the owner is not going to call me. I reported this company to the BBB, my Visa and to Saul Garza (on your side reporter) I have never been treated so horribly in my life by a company and I am shocked that the owner refused to contact me to make things right. After numerous attempts with the store and corporate, I had no choice to take this to social media since the store from top to bottom had no interest in refunding me or apologizing for their behavior. read more

Don't let them work on your phone. They replaced my iPhone 5C battery but broke the connection for the home key. When I returned to get the $50 to replace the part or just the part so I could have a phone-repair company fix it, they would not do that. They wanted to fix it. I was already not trusting them from the first error. When I took the phone to iFixar in NE Mall, they mentioned that the Rayovac batteries (that was put in by Batteries Plus) have a tendency to expand when charging overnight - breaking the screen. Don't waste your time! Went for watch battery and they said that it was a "rare battery" and that they didn't have it. Went to the mall and had it changed in less than 15 minutes. They changed the battery in the key fob for my car. Went home and tried it and it didn't work. Went back for the second time and they couldn't get it to work. Got a refund and had them put old battery back in. Went to the Porsche Dealership and they said that Batteries Plus put the battery in wrong. The Dealership changed the battery and it works great. I purchased a battery from Batteries Plus on Davis Blvd, in NRH Texas In Feb. 2019. In August 2021 my gate stopped working and I removed the battery & took it back to Batteries Plus. I was expecting a pro rated credit, but the employee advised I would receive a full refund and pro rated batteries is a "rip off." He advsied they were out of the battery I was trying to replace, but I could upgrade for $70 or return tomorrow when the shipment came in between 12-2P. He also advised the better battery for $70 would be overkill for a residence gate and his recommendation would be to return the following day for the replacement at no cost. I left the core battery thinking I could just pick up the new one the following day. My wife returned the following day to pick up the battery and a different manager advised it would be $116 since the warranty expired. I contacted him and he advised his employee did not say what I was trying to tell him and pretty much saying I was lying. I told him detailed info the employee advised and still said his employee did not say that. Frustrated, I took my business where they do pro rate the battery and will not return to Batteries Plus. Integrity is very important in the business world and I realize everyone makes mistakes, but to put the blame on the customer for an employees mistake is unacceptable. read more

This used to be a great place to purchase good batteries. They must have new management. The service here has dramatically declined. I paid $180 for a new battery for for my Chevrolet Captiva. After 1 year it was barely starting my car. I brought the car to store to be tested and was confronted by an angry little man who seemed disgruntled that I disturbed him. He attached his testing machine to my battery. I could see the meter on the machine was near the "red" zone, meaning almost dead. He insisted it was in "great shape" and refused to offer any warranty even though the battery had a 3 year warranty on it. Ridiculous. I am really starting to think that they are trying to diversify a little too much. When I have been here in the past for batteries, they have always had what I needed. When they expanded into bulbs, they were there for me the one time I needed them. However, they should stop there. You see, they are also in the Smartphone repair business - but - that requires a specialized skillset plus competitive prices in areas such as the DFW Metroplex. I took in a Samsung Note 5 with a broken LCD and they quoted $399 plus they had to "special order a part." Seriously? I know this is not an IPhone but Samsung Notes are pretty much critical mass these days. I do not even want give one star to this place! Here is an email i sent as written follow up to my call to main corporate office or customer service dept. Last week I ordered a battery for a digital camera online and paid in full 26.99 for item. Then received call from Shane @ location on North Davis in North Richland Hills,Texas that even though I received email notification saying ready for pickup that they did not have it but would be here Wednesday..that was yesterday'..so yesterday I called to make sure ok come pick up. Shane advised he didn't know if they have it and he would have to.call me back. This was approx 11 or 12:30 in afternoon. My day went on and then about 6pm I realized he has not called? I tried call but location closed. I called him today about same time. I has to remind him who I was and why I am having to continue asking about item purchased last week. He placed me on hold for about 3-4 minutes then proceeded to ask me again what my last name was that I just told him...then he just says no we don't have it..offers nothing more. I advised I just want to be reimbursed for this .it appears I don't know when I'm getting something that showed to be present at that location when I initially ordered it ordered? When I said I just wanted to be reimbursed he said well I have to come there then to do that. He acted as if I did not really matter then ..he wasn't concerned as it appears that he lacked empathy and good customer service skills.
