Friendly and attentive team and they do great work on repairs. However, if you are just looking for a battery replacement, they are extremely expensive! I needed to replace the 3V battery in my garage door opener and they charged me $13 for a battery I could have purchased on Amazon for $4. They call it an "install kit" and jack up the price. When i walked into the store, a young man at the counter told me that he did not think that he had the part in the store. I asked him to please double check and he did and found the part that I needed. Since I made an appointment online I also received $10.00 off the price. Alright, so here's what I can tell you. I learned about Batteries Plus Bulbs. I learned about their cell phone repair service through an ad on the radio. As fate would have it, my son cracked his screen and his phone was having difficulty keeping a charge. We went and spoke with the gentleman at the store in Northfield (next to the pizza place), and found out that the basic repair service was $49.00. For that fee, he fixed the screen and diagnosed the phone. He let us know up front that it would be a higher fee if more repairs needed to be done. In short, for $49.00, he fixed the screen and repaired the loose connector so that the phone would be able to be charged again. It was a fair price, and honest service, upfront pricing, and only took about 45 minutes. I would recommend this place! read more

Ok so how hard is it to get a battery for your phone? Should be easy right? Well apparently at this place it is. I went in there 3 weeks ago and showed the kid my phone and he said he would order me a new one because they were out of stock. He claimed they get their deliveries Mon, Wed, and Fri. So I wait. 2 weeks go by and I finally call and get the owner Jeff on the phone. He said he has the order form will find out if the battery is there and call me right back. That was 3 days ago. So I call again and he answers, only to find out he lied because he never even looked for my order, he said I'll look for it now. I said you haven't even looked yet? I said I guess you don't need the business and he says how hard it is because he can't hire good help. Really? With all the people in this county looking for work? I told him to forget it ,I don't need lame excuses. I'll pay for a phone upgrade, so I don't have to deal with people that are this lazy. So ridiculous for a lousy battery. read more

Was at my wits end because my iphone 6 charger port wasn't latching to power cable. Went to this branch, no appointment. This young man, Matt, was there, and fixed it in less than 5 minutes!!!While he was doing that, there were two other customers waiting, and the phones were ringing but he never lost his cool, or never rushed me to leave as i had questions on my other devices that needed repair. Not sure what's happening at this store, but my past few experiences have been horrible -- so much for trying to give a local small business a chance!!! I brought three watches to have their batteries replaced and was told to come back the next day to pick them up. I didn't return for THREE days and only ONE watch was ready. The owner told me that he didn't understand why, and then showed me the two other watches sitting on the workbench with their backs off. He blamed it on "his worker" and promised to have them to me the following day. I once again didn't return for THREE days but the young guy behind the counter kept staring at the watches before handing them to me. When I inquired what was wrong, he told me they weren't working and there was no notation as to why. I called for the next few days to talk to the owner, but kept being told he wasn't in. I then took my watches to a JEWELER, who later informed me that they were unable to remove the back of one watch (issue with the screw) and the other watch wasn't working WITH a battery. So I'm left to wonder what actually happened to the watches that were left with no backs on the workbench for a few days? They obviously damaged one of the screws putting the back on! And who knows what they did to the other watch! Thanks for nothing -- watches now need to be sent out for an expensive repair. read more
