He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions before completing the purchase. I got my iPhone screen fixed here. They said it would be an hour and they would call when it was done, so we walked around waiting. We finally popped back in after about an hour to check on the progress and it was done, but they never called. Anyway, they did a good job but unfortunately they were out of screen protectors and I dropped it the next day and it completely shattered again. Ugh! read more

I needed a second key fob and after checking with the dealer and a locksmith, I'm glad I found out that Batteries Plus offers same day service. I called them and spoke to a very helpful and knowledgeable young man by the name of Zach. Made an appointment and upon arriving I was promptly greeted and helped by a very kind and helpful young man named Alex. Alex got to working on my key and key fob and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Not just for batteries, this place is well stocked with a number of different items from flashlights to cell phone accessories. Drove from east Ocala to have a couple batteries decharged and recharged because Tyler told me they could do it for free. I gave him all the the info on the batteries. Why free? "We want to get you into the store". These are $200.00 batteries! We can't do these lithium batteries like he said they could! I don't like being lied to. I'll never recommend this place. read more

This is the greatest batteries and bulbs store ever. They helped me on two occasions. Once with a hearing aid battery that didn't have any identification on it and secondly with a bulb for a light that didn't have any identification on it. I brought my Samsung 8 here to have the front glass fixed. Well the moron fixed the front screen ok but while putting it back together totally smashed the back glass. Who are these people hiring? If you can't fix something Don't say you can! For $259.99 I expect better. They are Even shady on follow ups. I came in today for my iPhone to be fixed (I shattered me screen) and the staff here was amazing. I called the day before for an appointment so I could get right in Incase it got busy. Joey checked me in and gave me all the info on what they would do to the phone. She was super friendly and let me know it would take between 45 minutes and an hour to fix. I was next door having dinner so I checked in after 45 minutes and Skyler checked me out. He was friendly as well and let me know about the warranty on my phone. I highly recommend this if you need anything fixed on your phone or tablet. read more

We tried to order the battery for our phone, but it wasn't one of the selections there, so we called and made an appt that way. The woman that answered the phone said that the battery was at the store and created the appt for us. When we arrived for our appt, they said that it wasn't in the system. We left our phone only to find out that the store didn't actually have the battery. They promised to order the battery, and give us an additional discount when the battery came in. We left the store, only to find out that the phone wasn't working, and they had forgotten to put in the chip and sim card. We came in for our appt, left our phone again. I asked what the price was, and the quoted price didn't included the promised discount for our troubles. When we came back to get the phone, we were told that the ordered battery wasn't working. We decided that it wasn't worth continuing trying to work with this company. We were also disappointed that a manager didn't even attempt to call us to apologize for all of the trouble that we went through. We won't ever recommend this store. read more

I thought my three year old iphone 6 plus was dying because the battery was burning fast and the screen would fade to black or grey and be unresponsive for a while. I brought it in and was willing to replace both screen and battery, but the tech recommended just the battery first to see if that worked. I got the phone back in an hour and was blown away because it was like having a new phone. The screen was bright and the battery lasts more than a day now. Guess all the times it was in my car in the florida heat really hurt the battery. Anyway, this saved me $1000 for a new phone or the $400 to replace my out of warranty phone. I am so very impressed with this company's honest and competent employees. Going back to buy some of the cool flashlights they sell. read more

I have used this business many times over the years. Service has always been good, although a little slow at times. Yesterday Service was faster but left me deeply frustrated and $65 poorer! I went in to get the battery changed in my dead garage door remote controller so that I could get into my house as we usually enter the house after having parked the cars in the garage. The young lady was very helpful in opening the remote which I was struggling to do. She changed the battery in no time at all. She even sold me on the daylight bulbs that I've needed for some time now. I return home and the remote does NOT open the door. Now I had to call the locksmith to help me get into my home. After one hour, Randy arrived with his assistant. They open up the home in less than one minute. But I am wondering how to resolve my garage door opener problem because my car, which has the code to open the garage programmed in will be in the shop for some few weeks. Thank you Mercedes! How did it just die and how to replace it? I thought momentarily that maybe the young lady really did not install a new battery! I asked Randy if he could open the remote for me. He did and we found that the battery had been installed upside down! Turned it over and voila, it opened the garage door. I thought about the same thing happening to future customers of this store so I called them to advise them. After being on hold for 5 minutes, the guy comes back and I explained the situation to him. He apologized for the inexperience of the employee, but never acknowledged that I was out $65 because of her inexperience. I will use another vendor for batteries from now on. Giving them my business may result in a greater loss next time! He never even offered an incentive to come back, like 10% discount next time I come into the store. Be careful if they install batteries bought from them is all I can say! Joey, the manager did reach out to me to ask me what she could do to make this situation right. She even offered to give me back my $65, if I provide her the receipt. That is fair, but my goal was to ensure that this did not happen to anyone else. I called the store to report it but I find that corrective measures are usually taken once Yelp is involved. Joey promised to make sure her employees are told to ensure batteries are properly installed. When I am in the area, I will stop in to show her my receipt for the locksmith, so she does not feel that I am pulling her leg about having paid for the locksmith. I did, but I never asked her to reimburse me for it. read more
