Steven is an absolute god tier battery bad ass. He helped us replace a battery in our van last minute and was super helpful with finding the right one and installing it despite its weird former wiring. Actual hero! Thanks so much. Stopped by to see if they could figure out problem with a Samsung S5 . Jake was very helpful and said he could put a battery in and see if that was the problem. It solved the issue it was having and he also researched to try to fix a software problem. He also helped us pick out LED lights for our rv that we needed. Excellent customer service and highly recommend giving them a try if you need your cell phone battery replaced. They can also replace cracked screens and are able to do repairs to the phone. read more

Broke my iPhone screen and scheduled a repair with the authorized Apple service center in town, Computer Village. When I arrived, they told me that they had to ship my phone to Apple anyway (I could've done that myself) and that it would be about a week. I looked to see if there were any other repair places in town and I found Batteries +. I scheduled an appt. just in case and headed over there and they were able to fix it right away. I was a little worried (and still am) bc I highly doubt they use authorized Apple parts. They completed the repair in under an hour but the home button felt a little weird and the screen protector I purchased from them was crooked. I took the phone anyway but ended up coming back the same day to have it adjusted. They fixed it in prob under 15 mins and even replaced the screen protector. I was a little skeptical after reading a lot of negative reviews online but these guys were actually pretty great. Let's just see how the screen holds up. They give you a 6 mo warranty on the work. Maybe I'll try to update this review in a few months after the new iPhone comes out. read more

I paid in advance, as required by their store policy, and left the phone with them overnight. The next day, I received a call from a staff member named Pete, who told me they couldn't complete the battery replacement because one of the screws was stripped. When I picked up the phone and examined it myself, I found the left screw completely stripped with visible fresh tool marks--clear signs it had been recently damaged. I immediately called the store to ask how this had happened. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they insisted the phone was already in that condition when I brought it in. That's simply not true. I purchased this phone brand new and have never had it opened or worked on before this visit. There's no way that kind of damage existed beforehand. The staff at Computer Village refused to take any responsibility for the damage they caused, leaving me with a phone they not only didn't fix, but actually made worse. I've attached a photo--you can judge for yourself. I cannot recommend this place. If you care about your device, look elsewhere

The rate for one-on-one tech support in Northern California is $115.00 - $150.00 per hour ! Computer Village charges only $75.00 per hour ! He clearly states what he intends to do, then does exactly that: shows up when he says he will (texting us in advance that he is on the way), evaluates the issues, shares his recommendation and quote, then does the agreed-upon work with surgical precision. His high level of skill and quality results speak for themselves. He provided efficient work at an exceptional value for the cost. Ben installed our two new toilets and repaired related plumbing, replaced a leaking kitchen disposal, repaired under-sink kitchen plumbing to accommodate a new reverse osmosis hot and cold water on-demand system, and diagnosed a few other fixes along the way. We added a simple in-line descaling unit to help reduce the hard water sediment, and noticed results almost immediately. He knew our faulty kitchen faucet head was covered under warranty and called to get a replacement on its way to us. He installed a new water main easy access shut-off valve so we don't have to reach waaay down behind the water heater for an old school dial knob. So helpful! Ben is super clean, organized, professional and personable. He wears booties when entering the home, lays his tools neatly out on his work mat, has a tub to collect anything he removes, and leaves the place far better than he finds it. He also reached out several times to follow up after the appointments, to see that the new installations were working as expected and that we were happy. Ben at SoDak is the only person we will call for plumbing help. Truly felt like my big brother was taking care of me and our home care needs.

We asked for our money back and were told, "Impossible". We asked for half of it back and were told, "Impossible". We feel this is all a scam. My cell phone was dropped by my 4 year old from 2nd story balcony on 1st day of 6 day vacation. I was a 40 min drive from where we were but when I called Jake at this store he committed to attempting to fix it on the spot. The quick fix we'd hoped would work did not but he tried one other thing that he did quickly so we wouldn't miss as much of our vaca time. It worked. Batteries Plus Bulbs saved me this morning! I woke up to find that my iPhone 6 was dead and wouldn't take a charge. I left my phone at their shop and came back a short while later to find the new battery installed and my phone charged up to 89%!
