My elderly mother needed her dying battery changed and called AAA. The guy came and had a new battery but refused to change it and told her to go to Battery Source because they could give her a "better deal" and were "family owned" unlike AAA. Not sure what shady business is going on between some AAA employees and Battery Source but this put my mother in danger of breaking down in the middle of the road without a working battery since the Battery Source location was 20 min away from her home. Please report AAA and Battery Source is you need help from AAA and they refuse you a battery and tell you to buy it from Battery Source. read more

I always relied on battery source got all of my battery needs. My daughter bought a used SUV from an auto mart in Moultrie, GA. The truck was new to her and sure giving her cranking problems. Went to battery source and it was a bad battery. Battery Source replaced it and it did fine got a few days. It acted up again. After four batteries, we were told it wasn't a big enough battery for that particular vehicle. We got one from another store and it has been working like it's supposed to do. read more

Bought Battery for UTV back in June noticed it wasn't charging right so I took back to Battery Source with in three days of purchase! The person checked battery and said it was good I needed to check my machine. Waited several weeks no change (UTV stays on trickle charger) but each time I go to crank it's sluggish! I took Battery back to Battery source again same thing nothing wrong with battery! I asked to get another battery they said there was nothing wrong with this said battery! Fast forward to today! I was tired of UTV hard to start or having to jump off every time I tried to ride so took battery back to Battery Source! They check it and long and behold there is a problem with battery it needs to be replaced!! I was like really I have said that from the beginning! I have been up here complaining several times and finally yall are going to replace it Thank goodness! So salesman says are you wanting same battery I was like yeah hopefully this one will be better just glad its getting replaced! Salesman says well no its out of warranty so I will have to charge you full price!! I was furious!! Now that its out of warranty it needs replacing!! What a joke!! I tried to keep my business in my home town to help local economy and this is how I am treated!! From here on I am ordering from online! These store owners do not stand behind there products anymore and charge twice as much!! I really want to help out locals but I draw the line!! This is robbery! DO NOT BUY FROM BATTERY SOURCE!! This is not the first time I have had issues with them!! Usually they try and help out but now it is all about the money not the service!!
