It destroyed our only vehicle as a family of four with two girls under 2. Thank God my wife and daughters were not in the car with me. My wife had dealt with Battison Honda years ago, so we came here looking for a replacement. Hannah was our sales rep and she was fantastic -- super kind, not pushy at all, very easy-going and conversational. She had only been a saleswoman for a week when we bought with her, but you would never know it! She and my wife hit it off right away swapping mom stories with our two girls under 2. Tim was our finance guy and he made everything smooth and easy, even though losing our only vehicle was devastating. The whole experience left us feeling super at ease with a payment we could comfortably afford. They helped us find a beautiful 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe that's a great vehicle at an excellent price. The only minor disappointment was that I specifically asked for a full tank of gas but was sadly denied (it was on empty when we drove off). We know used cars don't usually get filled up, but it would have been nice. This was hands-down the best car buying experience I've ever had! In our tough situation, this dealership was literally a lifesaver. Huge thank you to Hannah, Tim, and the whole team -- you helped our family get back on the road when we needed it most! We arrived a few minutes early for a 1:00 pm appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. When we bought the car from Battison, we were told that the first service would be free. What we were not told was that the fine print limited this to one year. We bought the car 13 months ago. We decided to opt out of the tire rotation since we have only 3,000 miles on the car and it was quite expensive. After waiting for an hour and a half, I asked what was taking so long. I was told, "Half of my crew called in sick today." Well, why didn't they tell us that in the beginning so we could decide if we wanted to wait until later to have the service? I just can't believe our experience here just now. We are having issues with our Traverse and are looking into cars to buy once I graduate school next month. I asked to withhold my phone number in the beginning- I didn't want calls/texts about buying a vehicle if my husband didn't end up fitting comfortably in them. We are looking into a midsize SUV that my husband (6'7) can fit into comfortably. I was so interested in a crv and pilot but then really loved the passport when I saw it. I asked if we could please see if he can fit into them so we can discuss the best option for our family and be ready to purchase in May. I was clear that I absolutely loved the pilot when we were able to look at the inside. Our salesperson Sean said for the sake of time points, he would like me to choose which two, maybe 3 cars we want to look at. After we saw the pilot and requested to please see the crv and passport, he then got his manager who was incredibly rude. He said that they don't show cars just for fun and if we're not comfortable sharing our information (phone number at the beginning), theyre not comfortable sharing their cars. He didn't even give me a chance to explain why I didn't want to share my number in the beginning or that we were truly interested. We are so appalled and upset at this experience. This is the second time we've used Battison. The first time was for an obscure difficulty with the Honda automatic doorlock system when the car gets up to speed. They were able to track it down and solve it. It was amazing. This second time was a bit less wonderful. We made a 9:00 am appointment for a 45 minute job. We showed up at 8:45 and were checked in slightly ahead of time. We waited, since it was only going to be 45 minutes and they're pretty far out of OKC. We received the car at 11:45 am, when I began to very politely protest. The work was good on the service and on a small repair. I commend them. The length of time was an enormous pain. So, make sure you expect to leave the car and arrange for transportation until they call you that it's done. The actual work was good and the price was fair. This dealership cost me money, broke their word, and wasted my time. When working with salesman Salman S, I included my tax, title, and license (TTL) in the deal. I specifically confirmed this with both him and the finance manager, since the paperwork I signed with the salesman was not in the final deal packet. Both assured me that my TTL was included. After receiving my registration paperwork, I realized there was no check for my TTL. I called the dealership multiple times -- often left on hold for 15+ minutes, with no returned calls despite being promised one for two weeks straight. The front desk even knew my name from how many times I called. Out of frustration, I drove in on 08/22/25 to get answers. The sales manager admitted he remembered the TTL discussion but claimed since it wasn't in the official paperwork, they couldn't honor it. They offered me only half of my TTL, and when I asked to escalate, I was told I could meet with the general manager, Mohammad. After waiting three hours, I was told he likely went to lunch and I should expect a call instead -- which I never received. Finally, on 08/25/25, I was told that TTL "wasn't part of the deal" after all, leaving me stuck with a higher monthly car note and out the money I thought was financed into my deal. This dealership has shown poor communication, broken promises, and zero accountability. If you value honesty, transparency, and customer service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before buying a car here. read more

This was far and away the worst buying experience I've ever had Salman really worked hard to get me screwed over, which i know is the common dealership practice. Best to communicate through text in with everything so you can prove what was discussed. They are pretty good at getting you in the door just to pull the rug out from under you with no intention on ever making anything right. Also had to hear the whole story about how intensive the Honda inspection is for the vehicle and to not worry because they verify that it is in perfect condition so the as is paperwork is just a formality really... needless to say I've spent so much money getting my new regret fixed that it would have been smarter to just buy a brand new car. I should have known better when he went over the 3 day 150 mile return policy and I mentioned that I would be over mileage before I made it home and he just chuckled. This is a rant. On Jan. 16 at 10am I had an appointment at Battison Honda in OKC for a recall notice on my 2020 Honda Ridgeline. I was told it would take 3 hours. I dropped my truck off and was told that I would receive a text when it was ready to be picked up. My sister met me there and we did some retail therapy and ate lunch. She returned me to the dealership at 1:30pm. I thought that the repair would be done and someone dropped the ball on the text. I went to the service desk and waited while one guy was on his computer and eating. Finally he asked what he could help me with. I explained to him and he did something on his his computer and called someone named Leo on the overhead system. Leo didn't respond and was called again after a few minutes. When he came I explained again that I was there to pick up my truck that was supposed to be done by 1pm. He asked me if I had an appointment and what time I dropped off me vehicle. I repeated my story. Leo said let me go check. I waited and waited. When he finally came back, he said, "they haven't started in it yet." If you know me then you know I have no patience with ignorance. I lost my temper and informed Leo once again that I had an appointment at 10, it was supposed to take 3 hours, and it's now almost 2pm. He said, "I'm sorry, but we are just really busy today." Wrong answer. I told Leo that I called bullshxx and since I had an appointment I should have been serviced before anyone just driving in off the street for whatever reason. He apparently could tell by then that this old woman was about to go postal. He said, "let me go check" and hightailed it out if the office. He came back after about 10 minutes and told me that my vehicle had now been moved to the front of the line for service. I held my tongue but he looked frightened. About an hour and a half later my vehicle was ready. I was and am still mad and I want to spread my story far and wide. They say word of mouth is the best advertisement. Where they get you with the lies is finance, I bought a new 2024 civic hatchback with all the warranties come to find out each little warranty has a stipulation, like you get windshield and glass replacement, only covers the windshield crack less then 6 inches. exterior paint protection, only covers against sun fade. which when does that ever happen within the first 5 years. Oil changes they only give you 2 oil changes, they only allow you to change your oil when your car reads 5% which is around 9-10k miles and your only covered to 24k miles on oil changes. read more

I went to auto zone and bought spark plugs. On the off chance it was a battery issue they offered to test it for free. Shocking, my battery was the problem. It was never properly tested at the dealership and I can't trust a single thing they tell me. Very disappointed in the outcome and hesitant to trust a word they say. Do not buy from here! I've give the a 0 if it was an option. They sold us a car in July that had issues that they should have caught with their "116 point inspection" that they brag about to sell you a car. Not only did we pay too much due to supply chain issues, BUT they sold us a car with a bad radiator TOP support tie bar. If you don't know what that is, its a part that holds the radiator in place and costs about $1300 with all the labor involved to replace. The reason they should have caught this is it causes the hood of the car to not close properly. We noticed that right away, but me not being a mechanic just figured I have to close the hood with more force to keep it shut. We even took the car back and showed them. This is a road hazard. DO NOT buy from this dealership!!! 11/2/21 update: I thought they would do the right thing and pay for this as it was clearly an improper repair that they missed. Subsequently, I would have revised this review to be more positive. But no. All anyone has to do is read about the Lemon laws and it's clear they broke it. Now I'm on the hook. I'll be honest and admit that I was absolutely dreading a visit to Battison. They don't exactly have the best reviews, which while not uncommon with car dealers, still wasn't ideal. I had no choice though. Of course my little Honda has a special battery. Of course AAA doesn't carry it on their trucks. And of course, Battison is the closest dealer and oh yeah, I can't turn my car off. Reception is a bit confusing. Most other dealers I've been to greet you at your car. With a car that would definitely die as soon as I turned it off, I waited but wasn't greeted and eventually had to turn the car off and go inside. However, the staff was super helpful. My service advisor was polite and wore a mask. I had no appointment, but they were able to squeeze me in. I was in and out in about 2 hours, which I felt was appropriate for no appointment. They also did not overcharge me for the battery, which I had anticipated. No upselling either, which I hate, so that was nice. All the employees were wearing masks that I saw, and only one customer did not have a mask on. Some of the employees didn't have their masks covering their noses which...sigh...but I'll take a mask covering their mouth over nothing at this point. They also didn't wipe tables down after people, but they were spaced out, had signs, etc. I can't fault a company that is making an effort, especially when so many others have chosen to ignore the whole global pandemic thing. When it was dropped off, Artie, the owner of this dealership (the man that is on all the Battsion Honda Commercials) went running outside screaming saying, "Get this shit off my property! We do not fix those pieces of shit!" My car is a Fiat. Before the person towing the car had the time to move my car, Artie called the police. A swarm of police officers came and ordered the man towing my car to leave the premises. Artie the owner of Battison Honda show absolutely zero respect or professional in this situation. I understand not being able to work on my car. But to greet someone by running out of the office screaming and cussing and then calling the police before we even had time to move? "BattisonHonda.com" is short and sweet but I've never forgotten it. 2 years ago I had issues with my previous car and needed to get out of it quick style, that's where Battison came in. My wife and her family have driven Honda's as long as I know them and she actually bought a new Accord right before I left for the Navy 8 years ago. I actually had a Civic in the mid-2000's and loved it. Back to 2 years ago though, I walked into Battison wanting an Accord/Civic, great gas mileage, techy features, and I got exactly what I wanted and at an affordable price. My wife and purchased two vehicles Battison in 2020. I also purchased an extended warranty on my Toyota Tacoma. I had burnt valves in 2022 and the warranty co said it was a con on problem and they don't cover that. The problem with that the Service Mgr at the Toyota dealership I took it gave me a notarized letter stating it is not carbon but pitting in the engine block. i even have photos of said pitting. Yet the Warrenty co refused to pay the $7,000.00 repair bil. I know how the car Warrenty thing works Battison Honda....you should be ashamed of how you do buisness! You also lied to the Oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle Commission and told them the Toyota Service Mgr agreed with the warranty co. Let's put aside the highly capable, friendly, and helpful Service staff. Let's talk about the weak sauce Sales staff: I got a phone call from a number that I didn't recognize. [] First mistake: I answered the phone [] Some lady (I forget her name) introduced herself and told me she was calling on behalf of Battison Honda. "Okay, maybe it's something important?" I thought. Nope, not really. The lady, henceforth known as Brazen Sales Lady (or BSL), told me that they are interested in purchasing my Honda. I told her that I wasn't particularly interested because I liked not having a car payment. She gave me some ridiculous BSL line: "Since you don't have a car payment, we would have to offer you a really good deal for you to want to trade your vehicle in, wouldn't you say?" Umm... Yeah, sure... I suppose I see the logic there. BSL asked some questions about my car, I answered them, and then she tried to set up an appointment for the next day to meet with the Sales Manager about trade-in options. I did what I shouldn't have done, I didn't just say "No thank you" repeatedly and get off the phone. [] Second mistake: I didn't treat her like I would any other telemarketer [] Instead, I mentioned all the reasons I couldn't do an appointment right now. Namely, I now have a newborn, and life is a little insane at the moment. BSL responds with, "Wouldn't you prefer to leave him with your wife and just get away for a couple hours?" I actually chuckled because BSL thought it was a good idea to suggest that I shirk my responsibilities just so Battison can hit their quota. [] Third mistake: I didn't immediately hang up on her for being so tacky [] I again told BSL I was not interested, because... I dunno, I guess my mother told me to be kind to people even if they're being pushy, inconsiderate jerks. BSL then told me that if I provide an email, then she would send me some coupons for service. [] Fourth mistake: I gave her my email [] Thankfully, I gave her my junk email (no coupons by the way). Within a few hours, I got a phone call, and an email from a sales lady named Jalisa (different than BSL), because she had been told that I was interested in purchasing a new car. I responded to Jalisa and let her know that she had been misinformed, and that I had actually said I wasn't interested. But I'm annoyed enough that I wanted to change my previous rating. So really... Now... After I've taken the time and energy needed to write this essay... Now it's the end. By the way, I told my wife about the phone call. She is not happy with you, Battison Honda. I'm actually debating going elsewhere even for service. As much as I've appreciated the great Service department... The Sales department really... no, repeatedly... no, consistently sucks. If I'm standing in front of someone, and they use their right hand to pat me on the back and their left hand to smack me in the face, I wouldn't then move to the right of the person and think "Eh, he's half-way decent." Came in to buy a car in the rain, and the salesman Josh Z. was helpful, patient, and worked with me to get the offer I wanted. Took the car back for a detail 4 days later, and requested a replacement tire for the right rear side due to a superficial slice in the tire. My request was not met, or acknowledged again by the manager, which was disappointing. I only asked because after buying the car, the right rear tire was low on pressure, signified by the low pressure light illumination on the dash. I feel like I've been cheated. I called Battison Honda last week and scheduled a diagnostic check. The person on the phone told me that it would cost $139. It's been a while since I went to Battison, but the last time I was there was to have my battery replaced. I've used them on several occasions in the past, I've always gotten a diagnostic, a printout, a fair estimate, and a free car wash as well. I happen to be a nursing student right now, so my budget is tight. When I drove up, I told the man handling my service that I was worried about the suspension, the cruise control isn't working, and that the engine seem to be running rough. The man said OK we'll get you taken care of. What he didn't tell me was that they would charge me $139 for each of the three problems I had a question about. If he had told me that right then, I would've left because I don't have a lot of money to throw around at the moment. No, he waited until it was time for me to pay and then informed me, I owed him $417! When I asked him why he was charging me so much, he said something like, that's not so bad, they are in the process of raising all the prices. So I lost 3.5 hours of my time and $417 to find out that my engine is bad, my cruise control doesn't work and that the struts on my car need to be replaced to the tune of $7000, which is more than my car is worth. Oh, by the way, the car wash is broken, and management doesn't want to fix it because they want to do something different. I always thought that when it was time to buy an new car, I would go to Battison. Used Car Purchase 1 week ago: First, the good. Mark was a very nice, friendly salesman and made me feel at ease. Financing did not take very long and I didn't feel pressured to get a warranty or anything extra. They were willing to negotiate on the price and my trade in and I felt like it was a fair price according to the value on KBB. Now for the bad. I was told I could take the minivan (2013 Honda Odyssey) to my own mechanic and if something was mechanically wrong they would fix it. That made me feel very confident in purchasing the vehicle. Purchase was made and two days later I took it to my mechanic. They found that the timing belt needed to be changed because there were no marks on its cover and the water pump needed to be changed. This is a 10 year old car and timing belts must be replaced after 7-10 years. A Honda specific mechanic would know that so why their 100 point inspection did not catch this and replace it I do not know. I let them know the findings and they told me that because it was considered a maintenance item they would not pay for it. So even though technically it was not a mechanical issue, I had to have it done immediately after driving it off the lot in order to not have a mechanical issue. So, I'm out $1,000 just days after the purchase. To me, it may not be considered a mechanical issue, but it would've been nice for them to have the common decency to have something like that replaced before selling the vehicle to someone knowing that it needs to be done since the vehicle is 10 years old. Because if I hadn't immediately taken it to my mechanic and just waited until the next oil change, the engine, which is mechanical, could have been badly damaged. I have learned a big lesson in used car buying. Always take it to your own mechanic before signing on the dotted line. And if they won't allow that, then go somewhere else. It's just a car and there will be another one out there for you. Sadly, my trust is broken with Battison and I won't be recommending them to family and friends. read more

I purchased a Honda Civic back in 2006. The car ran perfectly well up until a year ago when the battery kept dying. I've gone through 3 car batteries this year. After battery #3 died, I decided I was done with Battison's service department, and I took the car to a nearby garage. The mechanic informed me that Honda installed an old battery (and charged me a premium for a "new" battery) all while ignoring the fact that my alternator was dying. What's funny is that I mentioned the possibility of the alternator going out to the Battison mechanic, who then said he "would be the judge of that." And then he proceeded to tell me that I needed a new battery and thus began the story of battery #3. I do not know if the installation of an old battery was due to deviance or negligence, but either way, I am not happy with Battison Honda. I feel like I've been scammed. I will never return to this service department, and at this point, I don't even know if I will buy another Honda again. am GRACIOUSLY giving this dealership a 1 star rating. I am out of state buying a car. I was told that the car was in impeccable condition by 3 different people... Joseph, Marcus and Thai. All 3 of these men LIED to me to make a sale knowing I was buying the car sight unseen!!!! They even lied on the bill of lading which also read that there were ZERO imperfections on the car! When the car was delivered there were around 15 LARGE spots the size of the palm of my hand where the paint had oxidized and was totally peeled off!!! There were dings on the trunk, the brakes need changed immediately, the gas was on empty. After 6 hours of BEGGING someone to help with this situation, I've only been totally ignored. I've reached out to sales manager MO several times only to have him dodge my calls. Save your money.... buy from a dealer that has integrity because this one doesnt!!! I cant even get a phone call back! The most helpful person in this entire situation was the receptionist who answered the phones! Don't get me wrong the brand Honda is amazing and really reliable but Battison Honda is NOT somewhere you should buy a car from. I'm just going to start it off and say they let me leave the parking lot with a safety issue. I bought my car 2 months ago, I don't really drive it because I walk to work everyday but when I did my light would light up to air my tire . 2 months into driving down the street my front wheel popped. When going to change my tires I had them look at all of them, come to find out Battison Honda let me leave with smaller tires on the right and the right tires on the left. When driving all the weight of my car would shift to the left, sooner or later it would make my other tire on the back pop! When leaving to get my tires check the man told me" I don't know about you but I would sue this company because that is a safety issue" Also receiving my car I did not receive a key that automatically opens and closes my car. They just gave me a key? I talked to a friend that bought from Honda and when asking she got one. I asked when I received my car that I wanted to get a key, they told me no . My car didn't get one??? Anyways I spent $200 on my wheels and when asking to be programmed and getting a key they wanted me to spend another $173. I did bring it to their attention that they let me leave off the lot with a unsafe car but and I spent money on that (instead of filing a law suit and didn't asked to be reimbursed) and if they could just please get me a car key . They passed me around to different manager for the outcome to be " there's nothing we can do for you, oh well you paid $200 dollars on your wheels but to get a key you need to pay $173". I asked to talk to corporate and I just want to tell you that the sales manager told me I was the only person you can talk to and that's it . They did tell me to leave after asking for corporate. Battison Honda has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and will let you leave off the PARKING LOT UNSAFE !!!! If I were you I would look at a Honda car at a different dealership. read more

PLEASE BELIEVE THE REVIEWS! I didn't, but glad some didn't have the same problems. Offered NEGATIVE EQUITY & already been in contact with Ahn. I purchased a used vehicle from the dealership and signed paperwork for scratches and dents they were going to fix. So the 1st time I go and drop it off and get a loaner and come back the vehicle was not even worked on ( told it was ready/work had been done) but they did swipe some paint on the back (one stroke that is not dry). I speak to a manager, Jim, he comes out to the vehicle and lets me know the guy who paints was having issues because of rain and I could come back the following Thursday and they will mark the messed up parts and get it taken care of. I let him know I am having surgery that day and he says drop it off on the Monday or during the week before surgery and they will work on it. I do that. I get a message that Friday and am told the car is done but now there's a flaw in the front. They think they can buff it. Okay. I obviously can't move and my parents work so I notify them to let me know when the paint is done we will come switch the cars (mine & loaner) then. I come with my mother who drove because I wasn't cleared to drive. The flaw, that was supposed to be corrected, is not. I point out the flaw and am told "well we can't see it from back here". And? Then I'm told "well go pick out one of the new cars and it will just be an extra $7,000 - 8,000". No, I want the car I purchased and I JUST want the work that was promised during purchase to be completed but every time my car is at the dealership it is further damaged (1st time door scratched 2nd time large indentions on the front bumper) the manager (Mohammad) says "It's my first time seeing the car. How do I know it wasn't already there?" Okay? I call over the lady from customer relations and ask if it was there. She says, "No, it wasn't there because not to be rude but she is picky and would've wrote that down or pointed it out before." He then tells her she can go back inside, she does. I am now kneeling on the ground holding a pillow against my incisions looking at the scratches that he believes I created while I didn't have access to the vehicle. Then the church next door catches on fire and he uses this time to slip away and pushes me of on one of the salesmen. I am then told if I wanted a perfect car that I should have bought a new one. I don't want a perfect car because I know it is used. I really just want the work promised completed. That is all. I then ask for the manager to come back outside and he is visibly annoyed. So am I because my just purchased vehicle has been with you all for 3 out of 4 weeks it has belonged to me. He then says, "We are not going to put any more money into your car" and I remind him the flaw was created in their care and they need to correct it. He then says verbatim, "I don't have time for this, I have more important things to do" I ask him, "more important things to do?" he says "yeah I have more important things to do" while walking away from me back into the building. I tell him to just go if that's the case. I am bleeding from where my incisions meet. My mom says lets just go. I tell her no I want them to keep their word. I am told, not by the manager (please remember he had better things to do), to come back the following week. My mom brings it back to them because I am not cleared to drive yet. I get no notification of anything so she heads back up to the dealership later in the day so that we can make sure to give them back the loaner as soon as my car is done. While sitting there for a while she runs into a friend who also has a wonderfully horrible story of how her daughter was treated. After a while my mom is notified that they can't do what was supposed to be done so it needed to be sent elsewhere. Why did it take close to a month to do so? I could've had my car back if this was done the first or even the second time. My mother heads back to get the car and finally after several weeks, reopened incisions, and being dismissed the car is done. read more

Thank God for Battison Honda when Bob Howard Honda couldn't come through for me. I received a warranty extension for the paint job on my 2012 Honda Civic. I initially took it to Bob Howard where I got the run around and absolutely NOTHING accomplished after 3 months. Then, I reached out to Battison Honda where I talked to Kevin Johnson. I believe his title is Assistant Service Manager and he was awesome! I told him about my problems with getting the paint job taken care of (I had one year left on my warranty) and within a couple of weeks my car was in the shop getting looked over. Soon after, the paint job was underway! Kevin was really helpful to me during this whole process. He would call and check in with me. The paint job was taken care of so fast and I am SO appreciative. I will gladly drive 30ish minutes to work with people who actually take care of their customers. I don't care if Bob Howard Honda is 10 minutes from where I live. I am so disappointed in them and so grateful for Battison Honda. read more
