Extremely disappointing experience. I brought my car in at 3 PM for a simple oil change and never received a single update or "ready" notification. I naturally showed up at 6:30 PM since they closest 7, only to be told I couldn't get my car until tomorrow everyone left at 6. Now I've paid for two Ubers, have to come back again in the morning, and had to cancel my 5 AM flight--all because nobody bothered to communicate that my vehicle was ready.. EDIT: Just watched my PDR and guess who took my corvette for a joy ride... All recorded. 75 in a 45 is crazy, while on the phone with his girlfriend talking about my personal info. Rude, pushy, and shady from start to finish. I brought in my Corvette for a trade, and right away they claimed they couldn't pull up any maintenance records, which is ridiculous for a Chevy dealer with access to their own system. I got the car at around 6,200 miles and have kept up with routine Chevy maintenance the whole time - not once has any Chevy tech ever mentioned an issue. They then tried to justify a lowball trade offer of $49k by saying they couldn't verify maintenance and by pointing out front splitter damage. The splitter is roughly a $300 part, yet they used it as an excuse to knock around $7,000 off the value. On top of that, they suddenly claimed the car had some kind of "weird wobble," even though it feels exactly the same as the day I bought it and zero techs have ever flagged that as a problem. It felt like they were just stacking fake reasons to drag the number down. I even offered to call the original dealership myself to get the maintenance records. Brian told me, "No need" - then they sat on it for two hours, didn't call anyone, and didn't even ask me to. When I finally took it upon myself to get the records and handed them over, the offer suddenly jumped from $49k to $56k. Earlier, Brian said he'd show me the MMR on my car so I could see what they were seeing. But once the numbers didn't favor their lowball, that changed. Suddenly they "don't have the MMR" and refused to show anything. When I questioned it, Brian got an attitude and hit me with, "Are you going to buy a car or not?" and then had the nerve to accuse me of wasting his time because they couldn't be bothered to pull basic maintenance history from their own Chevy system. Overall, the entire experience felt dishonest, manipulative, and high-pressure. My husband and I bought a used truck from Classic Chevrolet in February 2025, and by June its already in the shop with serious issues. This has been a complete nightmare from the start. Two months after purchase, we had to replace the tires- not because or wear and tear, but because the right rear tire was completely bald from rubbing. We thought maybe it was just bad luck or poor alignment, so we paid out of pocket for new tires. Not even a few weeks later, the same right rear tire was already rubbing the new set bald again. Called dealership and asked for Vehicle history report and we keep getting the run around about its been sent via email but we have yet to receive it. Used or not, no vehicle should be in the shop with rear end problems and destroyed tires within months of purchase. We feel like we got ripped off and wouldn't recommend Classic Chevrolet, if you are looking for a used vehicle i strongly advise you to look elsewhere. I bought a 2024 Chevrolet Z71 Silverado with 12,000 miles from Classic Chevrolet in OKC. After driving it for four weeks it had burned three quarts of oil. No leaks, it just burned it. Their resolution was to give me an oil change. Now I have a $50,000 truck that I have to put a quart of oil a week in to keep it running. Stay away from Classic Chevrolet. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. Horrible service experience from day 1. I called to get a diagnosis on an air conditioning problem, which was under warranty. I was told on 02.09.26 our car would be the only car in line for service, bring it in, 02.10.26. We did. Called that evening to get info, Bob told us he'd been on the phone all day w/the warranty company, so NOTHIMG was done. Every day it was a new excuse. I also talked to Sean, the SM, he promised he would get our car taken care of. Fast forward to 02.18.26, I went to see if the car was done- I demanded to see the car, the bays were filthy, unorganized. Nothing had been done to our car. There were 3 vettes in the shop ahead of our car, they were owned by the dealerships & for sale, so our car was bumped. They hadn't done ANYTHING on our car. Zero! 9 days and NOTHING done. So I was lied to from the beginning, 9 days later finally got the car home. Would not recommend them to fix a bubblegum machine! read more

Where do I begin. I will start off by saying I am giving the 1 star to the 3 employees that I felt was the only positive things at this dealership, during my experience. Noah Cortez Pelletier and Dwaine Curtis were 2 Sales Consultants that we interacted with in regards to the new Silverado EV, Equinox EV and Blazer EV. 10/10 recommendation if you are going to go here, speak to them!! The other gentleman was Paul Snook the Operations Director, after my terrible experience I asked to speak with a Manager and he came out to address the situation. He was able to provide clarity that his Service Advisor did not do his job and in fact failed to communicate. Here where my frustration kicked in, I dropped off my vehicle around 11am at Classic Chevrolet. I have had 2 bad experiences with Chevy Dealerships in OKC (Bob Howard Chevy and Smicklas Chevy, before it became Classic) and neither time did I end with good terms. The technicians and advisors at all 3 dealerships I've been to do not care for EVs, they are always rude and drag their feet. To me, if you don't want to service a product your company sells.... Then don't sell them!! Moving on, my "Advisor" if that is the appropriate thing to call someone who did nothing is, Corey Williamson checked me in to my appointment and I should have known when we asked twice what I was here for and the fact that Randy, Gary and Corey were asking me what maintenance items I needed. I'm the customer, my email and app have stated I needed the regular maintenance check for the mileage I was at.. that should have been the sign to leave. But instead I left with them to give it a chance. My car has been making a sound at low speeds and I wanted to have it addressed. At 11:18am Corey enters my vehicle and fails to put his seatbelt on, for those of you with a Chevy product we know that the dinging doesn't stop until you put the car in park or you buckle the seatbelt. He proceeds to take 1-2 laps around the parking lot and stated "I couldn't hear any clunking or rattling". Then parked the car at 11:20am, fast forward almost 6 hours later the car stayed here and never moved.. nor was touched. When I tell you I was in flames walking up to this service center... little do they know I have a dash cam in my vehicle and monitored that nothing was done. So I walk in and ask for an update on my vehicle and was told that nothing was found and the maintenance items were not able to be completed because they have been backed up. Meaning they couldn't simply communicate that my scheduled appointment meant nothing and that now my car wouldn't be touched until they had the availability. I'll leave the story here because of the length so far. Moral of the story, GM needs to address the EV issues with the dealerships in the metro of OKC because this is ridiculous. Now I will try my 4th dealership to see if they can help in anyway. read more

If I could give them a negative star rating, I would. Terrible customer service dealing with their service department. I was told on a Thursday to bring my car (which is 2 1/2 years old and under warrant) in on Saturday at 7:00 am. They texted me confirming my appointment and thanking me for bringing it in. I called before they closed and they hadn't looked at it yet. Then on Monday, I called and was told they would call me as soon as they found out something today. I called again on Monday and hear the same lie. Then on Tuesday, we called again at 10:00am and was told they had just now pulled it into the shop. At 2:30 they called and said, "The radio needs an update, and did I want to do that, and it will take an hour and a half" So four days later, the radio needs an update. REALLY wonderful service and neglect of their customers! The also charged $209.00 for this update, I have had an update on the radio before and was never charged. read more

These people suck. I took my vehicle in to have a front camera replaced. It took about an hour and the labor invoice was $652.86. Four hours labor at $175 an hour. They did deduct $50 from a $700 invoice. Wow, was I impressed! The sad part is that they were proud of ripping me off. This is the second time I have been screwed over by Smicklas services. No mas. Decided it was time to turn in my little black beauty, aka Mercedes Benz. Although it was absolutely beautiful and problem free she was a bit small and I was hoping to size up in SUV's. After looking across Texas we decided to look north to Oklahoma and I am ever so glad we did. Smicklas Chevrolet treated us incredibly well and made the drive worth every mile. Their customer service was beyond compare, seriously these folks could give classes on customer service. Regardless of the method of communication (we called, emailed and visited in person) they were always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and never at any point did they pressure us to buy anything above and beyond what we discussed. Picked up my new truck last night and the experience could not have gone better. They shot me straight over the phone and honored the quote during my visit. My out the door price was even better after processing the discounts and trade in details. I was and out in less than an hour and the majority of the time was going over the features of my 2023 silverado ltz. There was a cosmetic issue with the steering wheel and they committed to ordering me a brand new wheel before I even examined the vehicle. I had a day off on a National Holiday. I am in town training for my work for a three and a half week period and I've been doing some car shopping for awhile. Smicklas had a Toyota Highlander that was a pretty good deal...as did Bob Moore down the street on another higher-mileage Highlander. Because the Smicklas Highlander had fewer miles, I went by to get a test drive. The young Salesman was very nice and considerate...nothing wrong there... I liked the automobile and wanted to pursue the purchase. I was given a Buyers Order and I advised the Staff that I would pursue my own financing at a nearby Bank of America Branch. I soon discovered that the Bank Branch was closed due to the Federal Holiday. Later in the day, I called them back with a proposal of trading a car that I have back at home that is still in factory warranty, that is paid for, of which I can get shipped or driven to OKC. In speaking to the Salesman, I gave him the particulars about the automobile I want to trade...inclusive of VIN and even the paid-off loan number. I explained that I needed the Highlander for the purpose of my wife getting up and down into a low profile vehicle like the Impala I have back home. Now, with the inflation associated with used vehicles, I admitted that Carmax had made a cash offer for my car (I forwarded the offer to the Salesman via email) and that I stood to make $5000 on the offer from Carmax. I told the Salesman that I would be happy to share a bit of those proceeds with him and the Dealership in the sale of the Highlander to me. I'm not sure of why, but I never heard another word from the Staff. I suppose the sale of the Highlander is just not lucrative enough to satisfy them...coming from me...or it's just not worth the effort. The Highlander will sell itself...Toyota's do this. It's in really good shape for a 2017. I would have liked to have had it...but I don't make emotional purchasing decisions. I'll be home in a couple of weeks. I'll sell my car myself to CarMax and look for another Highlander at home. Smicklas sold me a Toyota Highlander...just not theirs. read more

I went to a different dealer to have my car check because it wasn't turning on and they did a quick test on the battery and alternator, they said everything was fine and charged my battery. My car wasn't working and I decide to go to SMICKLAS to get it check and they listened to me and took the time to do a deep test on the battery, it fail the test so they replaced it for a new one, everything in less than 4 hours (without having an appointment) read more

***Thinking about using Smicklas to service your car? THINK AGAIN. Long review, but worth the read. I took my 2016 Trax to Smicklas on April 9th around 12PM noon. There was a recall on the lower control arm weld that needed to be fixed. Additionally, I had just gotten gas the day before, and it had trouble starting, ran a bit rough for a minute and the check engine light was on. Besides recalls, I've never had any serious issues with the car, so I honestly figured it just needed some fuel injection cleaner with the gas but figured I would let them check it out and hope they didn't overcharge for it. I also have top-notch warranty and the service team was aware of this. About an hour after I dropped it off, the service department called and said the throttle body was dirty, the spark plugs needed to be replaced, the cabin filter needed to be replaced and the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. Assuming this is why the check engine light was on, I approved these services and figured at least a few of them would be covered in my warranty. After the phone call, I received an email (screenshot attached with this review) that outlined the services and charges. After work, I checked my warranty and it turned out none of these services were covered. I honestly was okay with it because the service department has led me to believe this was what was causing it to run a bit rough and why the check engine light was on. After receiving the email, I was a bit concerned that they had recommended replacing the throttle body and air filter since they had listed those in "fair condition", and I was a bit irritated that they were charging $64.44 to change the windshield wipers, knowing I could have gotten them at any auto part store for at least half the price and replaced them myself, but I also know the global pandemic is hurting business everywhere, so I was okay with paying a little extra to help them right now. My car was scheduled to be ready for pick up the next day, April 10th, because they had to wait for the recall part to be delivered. A mechanic from the service department called that afternoon to confirm it was ready for pick up. He stated that they had replaced the purge valve because that was what had caused the check engine light to be on. This had not been mentioned when they called the day before and was not listed on the email they sent with repairs. This replacement was 100% covered under my warranty as well. When asked why they didn't mention this the first time they called, they stated that it was under warranty and gave no further explanation. When pressed as to why I was misled, the mechanic stated that he was not the team member I spoke with yesterday and he would like to have me speak to them instead. I asked to speak to the manager after this conversation, and he then explained that the list of repairs they had sent the day before, which did not include the purge valve, were only suggested by the manufacturer due to 60,000+ miles...meaning nothing they had sent or asked for permission to fix had anything to do with the actual problem. I ended up paying $490.25 to replace spark plugs that were probably in great condition, an air filter that probably wasn't even dirty and a throttle body that probably wasn't dirty as well. I will say the windshield wipers needed to be replaced, but again, I could have bought them anywhere for half the price. All this being said, I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Smicklas and even more disappointed that the service department would overcharge me and mislead me about unneeded and unnecessary services. I will also mention, I had my dad call to check on this for me, knowing how most car dealerships treat women, and I can't even imagine how much more I would have been charged if I wouldn't have. I haven't been super impressed with the service at Knipplemier, where I bought the car and have had it serviced previously, but they've never misled me this way. From now on, I will happily drive 60 miles round trip to Blanchard to have my car serviced and Smicklas will never see another dime from me. Shame on you for this incident, and shame on you for choosing to do this during a global pandemic. Thank the good Lord I still have a job and the money, but many people don't, and I hope anyone who needs their car repaired during this time reads this review and decides to take their business to any other dealership. read more

But they said we had to have it at the dealership by 8 o'clock on Monday morning. I felt no pressure and I was able to go back and forth with em on the price & get a free tank of gas of course ! I got a really great deal IMO I highly recommend this place !! ( I bought a used vehicle from them ) UPDATE - make sure you check your air filters and oil also windshield wipers BEFORE you buy - the oil was dirty the cabin air filter was filthy and so was the engine air filter - also when I test drove it it said low windshield wiper fluid and I asked the salesman to top up the fluids and he agreed - he obviously did not because when I got it home it still said it and I thought maybe it was because of the freezing temperatures but nope - I had to just go buy a jug and put it in myself . read more

HORRIBLE "service" This is only for the service department. No issues with the sales team. Their receptionist, Norma, was more helpful than anyone else we talked to. 2019 Silverado with transmission issues. Appointment for wed @ 10 and told them to only look at the transmission with no other services. Call at 4 that day asking for an update. They said the technician was just looking at it. Call again at 5:30 and was told the oil change was done but they weren't sure about anything else. We didn't ask or want the oil change but did it anyways. Thursday: call at 9 and was told the technician wasn't even there yesterday even though it was already said they looked at it Wednesday. Thursday afternoon had to call again to ask for a status. Truck needs parts and they should be there that day and the truck will be ready Friday. Friday: called 3x throughout the day and each time was told the truck was being worked on at that time (only a 3-4 hr job). Had to come up to the shop to get any further answers. At the dealership we were told the technician hadn't even started on it. They did not communicate the status of my truck - all info received we had to call and ask, total hold time was around 5 hours for Wednesday and Thursday, they sent our calls to voicemail and ignored them (I know this because I was on hold when we arrived at the service desk and a call was answered right away while my line was still blinking). Ended up taking my truck to have fixed somewhere else since we were told two days in a row it would be done the following day. We were told an appointment doesn't do anything but say when to check your vehicle in. You still go back to the line no matter what. Once parts are ordered and come in - back of the. Ridiculous. The buying process at Smicklas was good. The problems came later. First, when I had my vehicle dropped off for scheduled maintenance, it was given back to me dirty. No big deal, just let them know not to dirty up someone's truck after they just had it detailed. The maintenance manager called me, and condescendingly referred to my truck as "my baby" and made me feel ridiculous for calling him about this issue. I let that go until I had the second problem. Secondly, I had leather seats installed at Leatherseats.com (these guys are fantastic btw). Whilst they were installing the leather seats, they called me about a problem they found. While installing the seats they noticed that my seat heaters, which were installed by a Smicklas contractor, were installed incorrectly. To the point that they were ineffective. The contractor sliced the back of the seat heater pad instead of taking off the seam of the seat. This laziness was done so poorly that the cut wasn't even straight, you could tell they did it with a box cutter while the pad was on the seat. I have pictures of the before, and after leatherseats.com did the job right. It is extremely obvious how poorly the job was done by the Smicklas team. My real problem is when I went to confront Smicklas about this problem. I was told that I should have allowed the contractor to break in to my brand new leather seats to fix the problem. That, the contractor is "reputable" and that the leather seat company was just " bad mouthing another business". This while I was showing the pictures to the maintenance team. Pictures equal proof, I tried to let you guys make this right by paying the $75 for the new seat heaters I had to install, or the least just an apology from the manager with a promise to make it right. Even if it were fake. Smicklas doubled down on the rhetoric and will lose this customer for life. I will not be talked down to as a customer, especially when I have the pictures to back up the hack job they sold me. Avoid these clowns by all means possible. read more

The following review is (mostly) regarding my experience with the Smicklas Chevrolet Body Shop. I was involved in a hit and run. I wasn't the the one who was doing the hitting and running. It was a dopey looking white kid with shaggy hair driving a white older model American SUV. The likelihood of me finding this generic vanilla described individual is slim to none, but if you know a dopey looking white kid with shaggy hair who drives a white SUV, ask him about the time he hit someone and took off. If he gets nervous, tell him he's not a very good person. Consider throwing him under the (figurative) bus by giving me his information. A guy can hope. If you are this dopey kid's parent, you should be disappointed, because despite what I'm sure was some brilliant parenting, he clearly lacks integrity. Anyway, my insurance company told me that I needed to get my vehicle checked out at Smicklas. The guy at the Body Shop (Rick), was helpful, friendly (enough), and straight to the point. He let me know what he thought of the damage, what he thought was likely to happen if I didn't get it fixed, how much I could expect to pay if I did get it fixed, and and his personal experience/opinion on how my insurance company could be expected to handle the situation. I appreciated the honesty. It helped me make a decision relatively quickly (30 seconds). Lest I forget: there's a lady in the dealership, next to the parts counter. She's cranky, abrupt, and not very nice. And she wasn't cute either, so that just made my short time with her even more unsatisfactory. This is probably going to be my only interaction with Smicklas (I'm not a Chevrolet person), but I had a positive enough experience with Rick that I may think of them again if I get hit by any more dopey looking kids. read more

The first time I took it in for a simple oil/filter change, it took well over 2 hours. Never got any updates on my vehicle status. The next time (guarantee it will be my last time at this establishment), I drop off my vehicle around 10am. It's 3pm and I still haven't gotten any updates. In my online appointment form, I added brakes, but the advisor removed them from my appointment saying I didn't need them done. Mind you, the vehicle hasn't been seen at that time. So I call as a concerned customer just needing general updates. I was told that because I ADDED so many things to my reservation. I didn't add shit...it was taken away prior to me leaving the keys. I was informed that they were just starting to diagnose the problems that I brough up. Update: got a call from the advisor letting me know they they were unable to reproduce the issues that I had mentioned. A text later followed to add a filter to and oil & FILTER change. Odd. I picked it up about 5pm and was immediately able to replicate the issues I mentioned when I walked in this morning. Able to get a video and everything. Unhappy with the service here. I'll be driving my happy ass all the way back to Dallas to get my vehicle serviced from now on. This was the worst car experience I have ever had. I am in my 50's so I have purchased multiple vehicles in my lifetime. I was helping my daughter in law buy her first new car. They had the perfect car. We sat down and from the git go the salesman, Dave, tried to up the price from what Car Guru and the Smicklas website had it listed at. Then, once we got all that settled they added $699 for transport, and $699 dealer installed items which included lug nuts security which was already listed in the sticker price on the window. I pointed that out and was told it would be changed. When the salesman, Dave, came back from pulling credit and talking to the managers the deal completely changed and we were told that the Car Gurus website had the price wrong and Smicklas wouldn't honor it. Plus they low low balled the trade in by $2,000 saying that they get pricing from JD Powers, not NADA or KBB. We doubled checked their own website and the listed price was the same as Car Guru. Worst car buying experience ever! I am 64 years old and have purchased new cars at many different dealerships in 3 different states, and have also co-signed and assisted my children with buying cars. This dealership is the worst. After spending almost 3 hours here, my son walked away after they tried to force him to buy an extended warranty and gap insurance that he definitively told them he didn't want. Before they knew he didn't want these, they had told him he qualified for a GM loan, after he refused the add ons, they got angry, began to treat him like crap, and told him he'd have to take a Wells Fargo loan at 8.94%. Got oil change there. They asked if I want tire rotation which was part of the oil change charge. I said no I think I had one done recently. He did not even bother to look at my record to see if I got one recently. I have been changing my oil at this location for more than 10 years. I picked up my vehicle and noticed the oil change light comes on. I called them to ask how to reset the light. He said I have to bring it back for them to reset it. Since I had to take the car back to them I checked my record and noticed I need tire rotation. I called and made appointment for light reset and asked for my free tire rotation. she said no problem and made the appointment. I showed up and told the service advisor for the tire rotation that I paid for it last time. He said there is $25 charge now. I told him the reason I am here is to rest the oil change meter So why not also rotate my tires. He said no you have to pay. I told him forget it the tire store will do it for free. they used to have a good service advisor that is no longer there. He knew how to take care of the customer. The new guy is ? read more

I just walked your whole lot trying to look at new trucks and nobody came out to help. I realize it's windy but we came out to look because this is the day we had time. Very disappointing because this is the 2nd Chevy place in 2 days where nobody's come out to try and sell a truck. read more
