He went above and beyond to keep me in my prices rang and was honest and thoughtful with his suggestions. He walked me through the process of changing a blade and explained why it didn't work on the skates I had. Pure Hockey would not send out a correct pair until they received the skates back, I'm assuming they believe that I would have a desire to keep mismatched skates. When she told me that I could not return the ski boots that I had bought two days prior, she became angry and defensive as if I was the enemy and not the customer. She told me that the return policy was on my receipt and on the website. When I asked her if the no-refund policy was posted inside the store, she said she didn't know but that it WAS on the receipt and on the website. I did some legal research and found that businesses must make their no-refund policy highly visible in the store BEFORE a sale. I called and asked for the owner George to call me to discuss my concern, but he did not.

They put three shooters on my brother's stick, when he didn't want all three, so I just adjusted them, but they are expensive. 25$ for a job that takes 20-30 minutes is crazy. The people are pretty knowledgeable, and know a lot about lacrosse, and how to optimize your stick for your playstyle. There is usually a good selection. I came in looking for a stringking mark 2d and I got the last one, so if you go in looking for a specific head you may be disappointed, but usually, the selection isn't bad, especially for attack and middie heads.

Four times in a row they have been inconsistent, dull on one side and oversharp on the other, and completely botched to the point where they're actually unusable. It's cost me goals, and that sort of shitty work is just not acceptable as a goaltender. On top of that, the lack of knowledge some of these young guys have is terrible when shopping for new gear. Maybe there are experienced folks there, but I've sure as shit never encountered one. Instead of admitting they don't know something, which is fine, the high school boys they hire will guess and give outright wrong information. Do not go here if you're shopping for new gear and need any sort of help whatsoever. They used to be decent, but this store has gotten steadily worse and worse over the years. The only thing consistent about their skate sharpening jobs is that it's fucking terrible.
