One of the receptionists was talking down to a patient, telling her that she actually needed to go home and fill out paperwork before she could be seen. The patient asked if the receptionist if they could simply help her fill the form out, and they refused. I was flabberghasted. They apparently had told the patient to fill out the paperwork before she came in and the patient would be too late to be seen. It's funny but something similar happened to me. About halfway to their office, I tried to be considerate and let them know that I'd be 20 minutes late. They forced me to reschedule, explaining that the doctor refuses to see patients if they're late. I guess I should have just arrived without calling in although I wouldn't be surprised if they just made me go home. There are great doctors and the staff is independently terrible. However, I think this office environment is affected by Dr. Gold's personality because she's a person where everything must be done her way. Medical Expertise What really worried me is something Dr. Naomi Gold said about surgical procedures and infections. I consulted with 2 different doctors who dismissed her concern. As a result, I ended up going with a different PM&R doctor. (I went with Dr. Mingi Choi who thoroughly impressed me.) I'm sure that she has a lot of experience. But she seems to me that she's a doctor that just memorizes stuff without considering if it makes sense. I believe the best doctors are the ones who think critically and assess each situation independently. When you combine a provincial mentality with a dictorial nature, I think it's a recipe for disaster.

I do have several problems with the practice, for one the front office staff had no idea what was going on. I needed to return to leave another urine specimen, I was told when I called that I could come at any time and didn't need an appointment, when I got there nobody knew what to do with me nobody knew how to help me nobody knew who told me I could coming anytime. It was complete chaos. Fast forward, six months have passed and I just received a bill from Robert Wood Johnson billing department. When I call the billing department my first question was why I'm being billed for services that happened six months ago. The woman on the phone told me that they're just billing for visits I'm six months ago now. I also asked why I was receiving a bill I had insurance, the woman explained to me that none of that insurance information had be forwarded to them. I told her how is that possible I was seeing by the Robert Wood Johnson MD, Why would my information not be forwarded for Robert Wood Johnson billing department. I myself and a healthcare professional and I'm very frustrated by everyone's complacency with mediocrity in the workplace. All other aspects of business require people to be accountable, I understand people make mistakes however, this is not the first time that I've been sent a bill because someone didn't sell the proper insurance information. I would rather you're be a system where I can bill my own insurance company, it's very clear that everyone else doesn't know how to write a proper number or send the correct information to get the job done. I know I'm not the only person that has to then call the insurance company or call the billing department which wastes 20 minutes to an hour of my time. Lastly no one ever did call me and tell me what the results of my urinalysis was, I had to call to obtain the information. I was leaving for vacation was given a prescription, I did not want to take the prescription unless it was certain that I had problem with my urine. I am aware that usually you are not notified unless there is a problem with your urine however with the excessive use of antibiotics I would prefer to have a phone call so I did not have to take the antibiotics.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I didn't even make it to the point of seeing the doctor…read more(so, I can't comment about his quality) because the front desk receptionist screwed up so badly. It's a long read. But if you want the short version, I do not trust their front office. They are incapable of managing appointments correctly and information. Their computer system always has a tendency to go down. Also, they confirmed my SOCIAL SECURITY info by reading it to me WITHOUT asking me to confirming the last 4 digits. Medical offices need to ask the patient for the last four confirm. NOT read it out on the phone!!! Very unprofessional and very risky for identity theft!!! Anyways, I originally made an appointment to see Dr. Ring. Went through all the steps on the phone to provide background info, insurance, etc in order to get the appointment. Great! A few days later, I received a packet in the mail to fill out. Awesome! This should save me time the day of the appointment. The day after that, I get a call the front desk receptionist saying that my ORIGINAL appointment date is no longer available, however, I could come at a NEW date to see the other doctor. That's fine. The next day, I get a call AGAIN from the same front desk receptionist saying "something" had happened to their computer system and they needed to get all my info again. This was odd. But, ok. I spend another 30 minutes providing the SAME information again. Then she said that my appointment was for the ORIGINAL date. And, I said that she just called me yesterday to change my appointment to the NEW date. Oh, on top of that, she asked if I was on "Medicare." I had gone through all my information, so I'm not sure where she got that fact from. The week of my appointment, I get yet again ANOTHER call from the same front desk receptionist. This time, she needed to confirm my Social Security number, so she read it to me. No medical professional does that over the phone. On top of that, she asked if my appointment was to come in for a circumcision. Seriously, WTF. I don't know how that even got into their system. At this point, I said forget it. Cancel my appointment, you don't need my information (as the computer system seems to go down often and you read out my info freely on the phone instead of asking for confirmation) and if I do see the doctor, I may not even get the service that I needed. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION.
