She is knowledgeable, helpful, caring and friendly. I totally believe she loves her job, and gets to know her customers and their needs. When I go in there looking for something I always go to Sylvia first. She then tells me if they have it, and where it is located on the lot. If they don't have it she sees to it that it is ordered, and will even contact me when it comes in. I truly like her, and her helpful and caring customer service. Since I am a beginner Beekeeper, and love to grow much of my own vegetables, I show her some pics of what I am doing or looking for, which helps her to serve my needs better. I also find that the nursery has a tremendous selection of items that me or any novice gardener would desire or need. As a Marine Sgt. Veteran, they also give me a discount on every purchase I make. Outside has an excellent variety of succulents and they even have a barrel or two of carnivorous plants that actually look happy and healthy. It seems to me that the people who work there definitely know their botany as it shows in the glowing health of every plant they care for. I'd say the only downside is at least the day I went, there weren't a lot of staff readily available so if you had a question, you might have to track someone down, however someone was quick to meet us at checkout. During the spring season, they have a small selection of plants. Populars in front of the store and Texas natives in the back. I used to shop here daily after work. Everyone who works here is so sweet and knowledgeable. Joanna who usually waters the plants, she is personable. Every time I'd come, we'd spend a few moments sharing our plant knowledge. I've bought a lot of TX natives. I even came here to landscape the yard with the variety of coleus, caladiums, variegated oregano, flowering plants, and salvia. I really like that they have a garden in the back displaying all the natives that is for sale. I've recommended this nursery to a few of my older customers.
