I am currently a property manager in the south bay and have been using Bay One Security for the past 3 years. When we first started with Bay One they took the time to evaluate my property. The suggestions they brought to my attention were helpful (from how to deter crime to saving our property money). I was taken back by the level of customer service they promised to provide our property compared to the many other companies who don't even understand the meaning of customer service. They take more than enough time to always check in on us and even speak to our residents and introduce themselves to our community. The reports alone I receive on a daily basis from Bay One are so detailed that it has made my job so much easier to deal with certain situations with my property. An examples is the daily maintenance reports (i.e. lights that do not work, sprinklers that are broken, windows and doors that do not close etc)... They are also proactive. They report suspicious activity that happens on our property. I have never experienced a security company that stops and detains/arrests a person who has committed a crime on my property before. All of my previous security companies that I have used stated "nothing to report" on their daily activity reports because they didn't want to show up. With Bay One every report is different. Their response time is comforting. They always show up within 5 to 7 minutes. A lot of times, more than one security officer will show up to a call. I have personally tested them and have never been disappointed. Ever since I began using Bay One Security my residents have been happier. They compliment the companies politeness and are relieved to feel safe on our property and their home. I have noticed that Bay One cares about what they do and cares for their clients. I have confidently referred them to my sister properties. All of my property managers wish they started with them sooner. Bay One continues to impress me. Crime had dropped dramatically on my property. I thank Bay One Security for always going above and beyond for my property (without ever an extra charge). This company is a joke, this is the 3rd time I've called them and they didn't even show up, finally I'm at a point that I wanted to file a complaint and all they can do is forward a message, they will not give out supervisor or corporate number or personal contact information and can not guarantee that some some will respond to your message. I have hired this company for several special events (i.e. dinners, promotions, cocktail receptions and etc.) and Bay One has never failed in providing top quality security. The guards are "on point" and and make sure to survey the crowd for potential incidents. They are polite when appropriate as well as stern if a person is out of control. Louie, the owner, is very personable and easy to talk to, as well as follows through with his outlined contract. As a graduate of the police academy, he is very knowledgable on how to hand conflicts and communicates incidents to his clients in a timely manner. I have often seen him stop by to ensure that things are taken care of. Overall, this is my "go to" security company as a part-time event planner and I highly recommend them! read more

One of my locations had multiple issues before I signed up Bay one. I met with the team discussed a plan and was able to secure my property. This company is a joke. I'm a new resident at one of the apartments that they work for, and I swear, they treat me like crap. My car was towed 3 days after moving in because they listened to what another resident said, instead of bothering to contact with me. A resident called them and said I parked in his spot, when it was my spot and I had a permit to park there. The resident had someone parked in his spot, and didn't find a parking spot, so he/or she pulled the "he parked in my spot" trick. Instead of reaching out to me, Bay One security just listened to some random stranger, and had my car towed. I came out in the early morning to go to work, and my car was nowhere to be seen. Once I contacted the property management, I was told that Bay One listened to what another resident said, and had my car towed. What kind of employees do you guys hired there? I've talked to one of your employees 3 times already, and why does he not still know the policy? Why is it that a resident who only lives there for a month, knows more than your employee? I had 2 more run ins with your employee (whom I shall keep anonymous), and what do you know? He came out again and listened to what the resident(s) said. It sounds like Bay One Security is pretty racist, considering how I'm one of the only 3 other Asians that live there. read more

This company is a complete and utter joke they get paid to never show up, never check on or lock our laundry rooms, never check on the pools that constantly have people breaking the rules and having our pool closed, people well after 11 p.m. in our pool area smoking weed and security never show up when you call them. They can't even do something simple as enforce the parking rules there's people constantly parked in fire lanes or blocking one of our gates plus people parked without permits in our permit onky complex. I can't believe anybody would give this company five stars, there needs to be a zero star review because that's all this company is worth. We live at the ThornBridge Apartments in San Jose and we have a continuing problem with people who don't live here hanging out in the carports. They sit there all day long on milk crates drinking alcohol and smoking weed and urinating on the walls. None of my neighbors will park in their assigned spots because they are afraid that their cars will get peed on. The level of noise that is created from them and their music is ridiculous. Regardless of what this company may tell you their officers lie and do not do anything. I just got off the phone call that would be my fourth call for the same issue and still no response and no officer has yet to be seen. And this is not just a one day occurrence, this has been going on for several days with several phone calls to both our office and Security as well and still nothing is being done. Don't waste your time with this company because it just waste your time when you call them to have an officer come out. read more

I really cannot believe this company is in operation. I'm going shopping and see an elderly woman wandering through the lot, completely lost and confused. Of course nobody else seems to think that's worrisome. I get out of my car and ask her what she's looking for. My worst fear comes true. She's looking for her car. She's disabled and was parked in a handicapped spot. Immediately i assume she had forgotten her placard. So i locate the security sign, call the number. A recording picks up saying leave a message and someone will call within 5 minutes. I leave a message and wait. The woman didn't mind if it was towed, she just wanted to make sure it wasn't stolen, and needed the location to pick up her vehicle. 45 minutes and 4 messages later, nobody has called back. I resorted to calling non emergency because the woman was insisting i go on with my day. With no one to pick her up and no clue what's happened to her car. Needless to say, dispatch was able to locate the towed vehicle and give me the address where the woman could find her vehicle. Way to go Bay One. Next time maybe you could at least have the courtesy to let people know where you've dragged their vehicles off to read more

NEGATIVE 0 STARS!!! These security people are a bunch of dummy's. U can call them all night if you want. But they will never show. The African American security guy party's with their friends at turnleaf apartments. And notifies them to leave and come back out in 3 mins. He smokes and drinks on the job. And when I asked my landlord does it show I called. They only put I called once and no disturbance on property. When really I've called 5 times about loud people partying and drinking and smoking weed. It's all on my camera! read more

This company was hired to patrol my warehouse last April. Since then, our vehicles have been vandalized 5 times on their watch causing more than $10,000 in damages. Gas and batteries have been stolen from our vehicles on several occasions. Homeless people are sleeping under our trucks and leaving behind things that are too disgusting to mention. Hired "Louie" and his "team" to help secure several apartment buildings. After Louie personally "guaranteed" each of my complex's would see "overnight" improvements, our security situation actually gets worse. Two weeks into our contract, frustrated beyond belief and worried about liability and insurance claims from upset tenants who justifiably are upset about car break ins and other issues, I spend 3 random nights in my car watching the checkpoint Louie promised me they would walk at least twice each night. For 3 nights, same thing each night, no security check, I'm pissed. I call to confront them and they tell me their officer was there, but they will "double check" and make it a point to speak to that officer. Hopeful they will do this, I go back out again for a 4th night and he shows up once. I spend a 5th night more than 3 weeks into our contract to verify again their performance. At the very end of the shift, nearly 6 am the officer shows up. I corner the poor guy who's unshaven, nervous and out of sorts and I unload on him. After 20 minutes I can tell he's as frustrated as I am. We have an offline chat to find out why in his opinion our site security was not improving as Louie "guaranteed" would happen. The officer goes on to tell me there's no way he can visit every property on his schedule because they've over booked him. His 10 hour shift requires him to visit 11 sites, some 4 times per shift ranging as far south as Morgan Hill back to Milpitas and Santa Clara. I told him I suspected as much because I had staked out my own parking lot on 5 separate occasions, and the first 3 nights Bay One did not stop and make the agreed upon checks. I pressed further and confronted him on the reports I've been given showing 4 checks on each of my properties per night, he shrugs his shoulders and tells me that's not what he reported to Louie. Pressing him harder, he comes clean that he's been threatened to doctor the reports which he refuses to do, the company is behind on payroll and their promises to him have not been met either. Saying I'm not alone, he has the same issues with other site managers who are also upset with him, he tells me he's tired of this and ready to quit. I've since let them go, hiring a National company and while my security still isn't what I want, it's improved dramatically and my tenants have commented positively that they see the changes. I'm highly suspect the positive reviews here are bogus just like this company. Read the context, spelling and grammar, something's clearly not right. Would have given them a negative 5 stars if possible. If you decide to interview these guys, do yourself a favor, get a face to face validation from national accounts who have not been paid off. You wouldn't believe what their former officer shared with me. Apparently the only bills these guys pay are the customers they use for reference purposes who fooled me...ONCE. hi, let me first say that i am a previous client of bay one security (full force security). at first, when the owner (louie) came to the meeting, he told me of things i couldn't imagine that a company could do and he was telling me that he can, armed and unarmed guards, undercover officers and doing evictions as well as checking on my site when off duty. so i believed him and hired him work at my site. as time went by, i soon noticed things happen. daily reports sent or copied from a different day that already has been sent.there were patrolling officers sending reports that were conflicting with stationary officers. what really got to me was officers writing reports or entries when they were not even on my property. every time i questioned it, there was no response or someone was trying to cover themselves. i also had officers write in reports that nothing happened when things did happen. basically what im stating to you is be careful of this company, make sure you find out whos working that night or day so you can put to your records, they are guilty of being at 2 places at once, falsifying documents as well as patrolling sites when not on my property all through the night and or day, saying altercations or incidents that happened when it didn't. writing officers names on daily reports when they don't even work for the company, even let go or fired. i also i received calls from residents of my property that when they called, no one picked up or if they did pick up, half the time, no one responded. i believe all in all that they can talk the talk but when it comes to actually doing it, it was very hard for them to do what i asked or agreed to till i complained or asked them why. also it's possible that by doing these things that they were taking our money when they weren't on my property, maybe trying to save money. i don't know. i just know that i did catch them doing these things, please be cautious. please take what i have into consideration before you hire this company or if you have already hired this company, make sure you check your cameras and check to make sure they actually are on the property by doing surprise checks through out the night. i hope i have shed some light on this and hope you have better luck then i did. and if you don't believe what i have said, just check for yourself. thank y you and good luck. read more
