These guys are amazing. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. I needed to run a fiber optic cable from the ISP junction box in the utility closet outside the garage to the soon-to-be office on the second floor. I had installed an ADT "custom home" top of the line solution three years ago but the cameras were so lousy you couldn't make out faces, the playback app would only load half the time, and take 5-10 sec to render. Cable Schmable replaced all the cameras with much higher quality cameras that load almost instantaneously. I had an excellent experience with Karim & Alex from Cable Shmable. Alex came out for a site visit and stayed for over an hour just evaluating what needed to be done and discussing options. I received a proposal that evening and with small modifications, we scheduled the work for a few days later. It was a complex job that took more than 8 hours to complete because of our house layout..we ended up relocating our Comcast box adding new incoming coax as well as fiber cabling (for future protection and upgrade). We then hardwired all of our Orbi mesh network router and satellites to a new 2.5G switch so that we get amazing WiFi coverage throughout the house. They added several new network wall jacks and cleanly hid all the wiring in our subfloor and crawlspaces. They also added power for the rack itself. At the main router we are exceeding the Comcast promised 2Gbps/350Mbps for network perfomance. They used all sort of cable monitoring tools to test the lines and made sure that there was as little interference as possible. They laid out new Cat-7 cables, added a new Gigbit switch, a 6U rack and labeled everything clearly. I'm so happy with the service and they are so smart and easy to work with.
