Although I was pleased with the outcome from the other therapist, there was no comparison with the Julia's process, and results that I obtained from Julia. In reflecting back on my progress, it is now very obvious that she had built a recovery strategy for me since day one. There has been a constant progression of various exercises that she has adapted to my improving condition. In addition to the treatments, her explanation of what and why we are doing things has been spot on. I really appreciate her combination of technical expertise and practical application throughout my recovery process. Overall, an extremely positive experience. After 2 months, I had full range of motion and now, after three months, I have the go ahead to get back to a regular work out routine. After years of abuse, I finally injured my leg. I would now pay the price for running with…read moresporadic stretching. Whats worse is I injured it on vacation and would have to walk up the stairs sideways while chasing my 8 year old. But what was it? The dreaded Achilles, my knee, hamstring? My knee was now moving side to side with pain in the front side and back So I called my doctor, she said to go to physical therapy before I could have a MRI and recommended PPT. So begrudgingly I went. I was pretty sure they couldn't fix what was broken beyond repair. But I was wrong. First step was assessing what was wrong which was a partially torn hamstring. Second step was correcting the problem with exercises to repair the hammy and strengthen the other parts around it. I am happy to report I am completely pain free and will start running yet again. One last thing: The therapists really care. Let me name them Summer, Heidy, and Ash. Many thanks for helping me walk and now run again. I am incredibly grateful.

One previous reviewer did mention a few things about the practice that I can confirm: appointments are made verbally; there are no follow up emails, and the billing is done by a billing company. If you're OK with this go with it - he's flexible and accommodating and open late for those of us who have inflexible work schedules. In my experience Brendon has always called me back, and he listened to me, and checked on me to see if I was doing OK. I also appreciate that he is a small local business and I am in my own private treatment room with personal attention (I have had PT in the past where one practitioner is seeing multiple people in the same room at the same time). No I would NOT recommend Second Wind Physical Therapy due to the lousy services that I witnessed and experienced.
