I was glad to work with this one lady as she helped us look at what someone did and watched some impotant words and matching what goes here! Because of this suppourt it ALSO helpded me get back on track to find out how to get me back in these schools cause all of the schools hated my IEP and they kicked me out and also wanted me to go to Gardner High School And Lienruburg High School Area since they where better with IEPS but now that i have someone to help i was hoping to get back on track as soon as i can... And our IEP will be set up on the website singed for our IEP card connected to the address of where we live.. But i cannot give that out only on this review! Bill Chapman is the most compassionate, intelligent hard working professional I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He took amazing care of my son when he was recovering from brain surgery because of a cancerous tumor. He also took care of my husband when he ruptured his Achilles. Now, it was my turn with an arthritic knee. I have learned more about my body and what it is capable of from Bills educational physical therapy sessions. He doesn't just pop you on a machine and watch from afar or give you a quick routine that you could whip through on your own. The exercises, stretches, massages and progressive strengthening doesn't ever go without explanation, education and encouragement. He works tirelessly on your mind, body and spirit! It goes above and beyond what is probably expected and required of him. You always feel like the most important person in the room. I know I am getting much more than the BEST possible therapy. I tell everyone I know to go there and request Bill and no one is ever disappointed. I look forward to my visits and make sure I keep my end up at home with his plan for me. I don't want to do anything to jeopardize my progress that we have BOTH worked so diligently on. I am just as committed as Bill is to my recovery. In my experience, they were quick to mark appointments as missed or "no show" even when there were scheduling issues on their side. Those missed visits were then billed to workers' comp and later used to label me as "noncompliant," which can jeopardize your case. It felt like the documentation sent to the insurance company did not fairly reflect what actually happened with my appointments. Instead of working with me to keep treatment on track, it felt like they used the system against me. I want to be clear: my complaint is about the way management and administration handle workers' comp cases, not the individual physical therapists themselves. But because of how my workers' comp claim was handled, I would not recommend this Worcester, MA location to anyone dealing with a work-related injury.

The simplest explanation is "UNPROFESSIONAL" On 2 occasions, I showed up EARLY for appointments and was told I was late, because they did not come to get me until after I had been there for 10 minutes. My primary physical Therapist, Ryan Wedge, was rude and an excuse making machine. He even refused to see me one time when I had my daughter with me, because I was "late" (not my fault if he waits 20 minutes to come find me), and called me an idiot in front of her. 2 months into treatment I was barely ahead of where I started in any way. Actually I lost strength in my hand. I will say that some of the discomfort in my palm did improve, but that was 100% the doing of 1 PTA there. I will say they had one PTA there, Julia, who was very good. She did a massage to break up scar tissue in my hand that helped a lot. However, this was not part of Mr. Wedge's treatment plan. She was also patient and good at explaining what she was trying to do and why we were doing it. I highly recommend her to other employers and hope she leaves this organization.

It's been easy to schedule appointments with the very friendly office staff. The therapists I've seen (Megan, Ben, and Donna) have been knowledgeable, professional, thorough, encouraging, friendly, and just plain great. They've clearly explained the how and why of the treatment process, answered all my questions, and I've seen an improvement after every appointment. The end result was that I was able to confidently return to an active lifestyle. I also really like the fact that after the initial one-hour evaluation, the appointments are each 1/2 hour long with the therapist focused on only me. Each therapist only has one patient at a time so there's no down-time, waiting to be told what to do next like I've seen at other PT clinics. They give a manageable amount of effective "homework" each time, along with a thorough explanation of how to do the "assignment." Progress is steady and the outcome has always been positive. I came to Kim Elia several years ago after suffering a back injury. I was to the point of feeling…read morenumbness in my left leg and could barely walk. I had been getting treatment at another PCT office tied to a local hospital for several weeks and was not getting any better. Kim was able to assess the challenges I was having with my spinal alignment and muscle weaknesses, provide deep muscle massage to loosen knots, and gave me specific exercises that would strengthen my core. Every week she would re-access my exercises based on my progress. I recovered to 100% mobility within 6 months. I came back to see her after 4 years for additional help in the same area and was back to normal in 4 weeks. In addition to be the ultimate professional, Kim is patient and kind.
