Michelle has a strong personality that we believed would help us move things along, when it instead caused many bumps in the road for me personally. I believe on such an important day the most important thing is to have a clear understanding on both sides of your budget. MB put together a fabulous plan that was 3x our ideal budget. We tried to keep things reasonable, but she pushed many of her own vendors who did not fit into our budget. We tried cutting down our guest list and eliminating what we could. She puts on very high end like weddings and we liked her style, but you can have nice without breaking your bank and your families bank. What bothered me the most was her suggestions on how to deal with family that wanted to help or offer their services. She told us to ask for them to write out a check-if they really wanted to help, so that they could enjoy the event as a guest. In the end, my family helped us with the food, decor, entertainment, programs and favors and I don't regret any of it! There was much stress along the way that was more memorable then the joy of this event. To top it off MB was not even available the week before the event. Instead she was kind enough to send me an email saying she was out of phone range in Nevada for her daughter's softball thing and that I was using up her monthly allotted text messages. It wasn't that I needed her right then and there, but really I had to order boxes and needed the dimensions. She had them in her office, but she wasn't available to answer a simple text to tell me what needed to be ordered. In the end, the event came together and everyone had a wonderful time and I think that was what was most important.

She would tell me that everything would run smooth and not to worry about other things and to relax. She was like my wedding BFF! Anytime I needed anything she was so quick to respond. If she missed my call she returned it within minutes. Things got hectic leading up to our wedding day, and we couldn't get all the minor details to her. She reassured me she would make everything look great, and that's exactly what she did! There was also another Courtney helping her the day of, and she was amazing too! My son wanted to sit with his cousins, but of course that day he changed his mind and wanted to sit with us at our sweetheart table. Courtney took care of it within minutes, and brought his plate of food. Both Courtney's treated us like VIP's and we didn't have to do a thing! They had to switch an item in the timeline because the sun was setting and BAM it was all taken care of. Really all we had to do was tell Jackie what we wanted, drop off all of our materials 2 days before, and leave it all up to her. She was professional, communicative, and caring. The one thing I REALLY appreciated out of Jackie, was that she was so lax on the day of our wedding. She ran things along so smoothly but also didn't keep us to a super tight schedule and let things run it's course naturally. Even though the reception seems long, it's a lot to fit in in a short amount of time but Jackie didn't rush us or make us feel like we needed to do things at the exact moment the timeline was laid out. I didn't once feel wound up and she made me feel super relaxed. She also decorated all of the tables beautifully and really put together what I had envisioned and planned for for months. It was executed perfectly and all of our guests kept complimenting the venue and decorations. She also packed up all of our stuff at the end of the night so we just had to hop into the limo.
