Wow, where do I even start?! My husband Joseph and I wanted to save as much money as we could, but we also didn't want to lift a finger the day of our wedding. We only used them for the reception portion of our wedding since we had our ceremony offsite. Saneta was amazing as the point of contact leading up to a month prior to our wedding. After that, Courtney A. was our main contact. She handled all the vendors and made sure everything was being taken care of. She was even a great person to go to when I needed to vent about anything! She would tell me that everything would run smooth and not to worry about other things and to relax. She was like my wedding BFF! Anytime I needed anything she was so quick to respond. If she missed my call she returned it within minutes. Things got hectic leading up to our wedding day, and we couldn't get all the minor details to her. She reassured me she would make everything look great, and that's exactly what she did! There was also another Courtney helping her the day of, and she was amazing too! My son wanted to sit with his cousins, but of course that day he changed his mind and wanted to sit with us at our sweetheart table. Courtney took care of it within minutes, and brought his plate of food. Both Courtney's treated us like VIP's and we didn't have to do a thing! They had to switch an item in the timeline because the sun was setting and BAM it was all taken care of. This review is for Jackie and she really deserves 10 out of 5 stars if that were possible. She was phenomenal in coordinating our wedding day and made everything run so smoothly. Really all we had to do was tell Jackie what we wanted, drop off all of our materials 2 days before, and leave it all up to her. She was professional, communicative, and caring. The one thing I REALLY appreciated out of Jackie, was that she was so lax on the day of our wedding. She ran things along so smoothly but also didn't keep us to a super tight schedule and let things run it's course naturally. Even though the reception seems long, it's a lot to fit in in a short amount of time but Jackie didn't rush us or make us feel like we needed to do things at the exact moment the timeline was laid out. I didn't once feel wound up and she made me feel super relaxed. She also decorated all of the tables beautifully and really put together what I had envisioned and planned for for months. It was executed perfectly and all of our guests kept complimenting the venue and decorations. She also packed up all of our stuff at the end of the night so we just had to hop into the limo. Jackie always checked in with me and made sure I was ok, hydrated and atleast ate something. She kept checking in on me like a big sister and it was so sincere. My husband and I couldn't have been more happy then the work Courtney did for us leading up to the big day & the day of! Saneta helped us along the way as well. Of course there's things that are bound to change even on the day of. But Courtney made everything so easy for us. Having assigned seating can be so hard with guest who don't understand that they can't just bring who ever they want or add people last min. But luckily Courtney was able to help us out with some last minute changes. I'm glad we went ahead and hired Direct My Day because it made the days leading up to the wedding along with the wedding day itself less stressful. Wow one of the BEST investments I did for my wedding! Let me just say that VANESA was AMAZING! Even though i got the day of coordination, Vanesa made sure she was always available to help me. Whether that was researching vendors or answering all my texts, she made sure to really ease the planning process. She is the sweetest person and was an absolute joy to work with. Her organization, creativity, and dedication to her work truly shines. On the day of the wedding she set up all of my decorations. I dropped everything off the day before and left her pictures for setup which she executed flawlessly. She also made a crazy detailed schedule from the ceremony to the end of the reception. Our wedding took place on 12-13-14 We literally planned and orchestrated the entire wedding just the two of us! However, planning and coordinating are two completely different tasks! We had our wedding reception at Canyon View on 4/30/16 and it was everything we hoped for! From the moment we first came to check out the venue (almost a year prior) right up to the actual day, Saneta always went above and beyond to help make our special day go perfectly. No matter how organized of a person you believe you are, there's nothing like having someone there to constantly be on top of your schedule, making adjustments based on the flow of the day, while also remembering all the small things you likely forgot when living in the moment. Saneta and Brooke with Direct My Day were absolutely amazing for us. They took care of us like royalty, and made sure any issues the day of were addressed with ease. My fiancé and I made an appointment to tour Canyon View for a potential venue for our wedding and this is when we first met Saneta. Saneta is an amazing wedding coordinator. I actually forgot to submit my form for a wedding coordinator in February and told Saneta a month before the wedding that I forgot to submit the form back to her. Saneta was really accommodating and still let me request for a wedding coordinator. Due to the last minute of requesting, Saneta said she will coordinate for us. I was so happy that she was our coordinator. She was very thorough and attentive. The day of the wedding, she was amazing. We were running late but Saneta got us through the night. I've had the pleasure of working with Saneta as a vendor and I can't emphasize how much she makes it easy for me and my video team. I'm sure many of her reviews are from clients and so I'd like to chime in with how she works with us vendors behind the scenes and why that is so helpful. I've probably worked with Saneta 6 times in the past 1-2 years and each time, her organization and interaction with people is perfect. I won't go into a minute-by-minute-details of what happens from the moments before a ceremony until the dancing ends, but it's A LOT. Saneta is the person who keeps it all together. For us photo and video people, it's especially helpful because we are made aware of what will happen in five minutes (and exactly five minutes), and who/where. In that five minutes we can clip on microphones, position our people in the best spot, and stage our lighting. It makes a difference! Saneta is on top of this and it's consistent. She'll make sure all the bridal party/guest/vendor needs are taken care of. I've been a part of many weddings where things ran late. I'd probably say about 50% of all our weddings in the past did not run according to the timeline. Anything can happen! As a vendor myself I can't emphasize the importance of timeliness. We used to (back around 2010) be generous with time as long as we felt like we weren't being taken advantage of. An extra 30min? Whats the big deal, right? Until I realized that many other vendors worked on a strict time limit and when we didn't charge for the 30 min extension we made THEM look bad for doing what was right. Keeping the photographer, DJ, photobooth, entertainment and videographer teams for any extended time can get pretty expensive. I've never seen Saneta miss a beat. And she does it while smiling and I feel like the wedding party is just focused on the wedding when she's around. I recommend Direct My Day for any couple. read more

Saneta did such a great job "directing the day" for my son's wedding held last year at Canyon View in San Ramon. He and his now wife had done a great job of planning and organizing all the various moving parts that go into a wonderful wedding day with a little help from myself and the bride's mom, as well as one fabulous bridesmaid. As the day grew closer it seemed apparent that managing the schedule of what needed to happen on the actual wedding day would take all of our attention way from actually enjoying the day. After a few days of letting everything sink in, my wife and I were truly happy that we hired Direct My Day for their services. At first we were in contact with Saneta, who has been doing this for years and is truly a professional at her job. Then a month before in our final meeting we met Vanesa, our Day of Coordinator. From that meeting on it was nothing but emails and texts with Vanesa to make sure all our questions or concerns were answered. It was surprising how accessible Vanesa was at any time of the day, didn't matter if it was a weekday or weekend. Saneta was our wedding coordinator from Direct MY Day for our wedding this past weekend and she was such a life saver. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were stress free. She was very responsive, helpful and organized. Once she took over, we really didn't have to do anything. She took care of everything. It was so awesome! She knew exactly what to do and created a very helpful timeline for the day of the wedding. She took the initiative to do everything she can so that we were able to enjoy the wedding and the wedding process. She contacted all my vendors to make sure they knew exactly what was going on and made sure they were there on time. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canyon View on Sept 10, 2016. Saneta was AMAZING! We loved working with her and all our guests said they'd never been to wedding that flowed so nicely. Everything was very organized and right on time. Saneta was able to fit everything we requested into the schedule and still leave lots of time for dancing! My sister got married at Canyon View on June 13th, 2015 and Saneta was our wedding coordinator. She was on top of everything! Unfortunately, we had gone with an outside vendor for the florist and the florist not only was an hour and half late, but she had nothing done when she arrived and despite the ridiculous professionalism of the florist, Saneta was helping me run back and forth actually helping the florist get bouquets and boutonnieres out and on the wedding party. She was very professional and was more than willing to help us with anything that we needed to make things go smoothly. My sister was getting nervous, because of the florist and when she would ask Saneta what the status was she calmly, let my sister know that everything was fine and everything was getting done. She knew how to talk to the very nervous Bride and Groom.. Since I was the Matron of Honor, I was running around trying to make sure that everything was going smoothly too, but Saneta definitely helped make my MOH responsibilities so much easier and less nerve racking.. We had our reception this weekend at Canyon View and had Saneta and Vanessa as our Day of Coordinators and they were freakin amazing!! I can't say enough about how greatly I appreciate them putting together everything for us!! Saneta has been an absolute pleasure to work with from touring and booking 14 months ago, to our final meeting, to drop off two days before our event and then to our wedding day! She's responsive, organized and overall just too sweet! I even asked Saneta and Vanessa to put together our donut bar for us and they executed it above my expectations. It can be extremely overwhelming in the moment and I love how Saneta and Vanessa are cool, calm and collected. I actually didn't know of many hiccups day of my reception until a few days later because Saneta and Vanessa took care of everything before I even noticed. Lol.
