Where do I start? I have been so grateful I found this company. It is difficult nowadays to find reputable and trustworthy people to work in your home. Bay Wide Hauling came highly recommended among three different groups of friends so I was at peace but more importantly, so happy with the quality of their services. Since meeting Ray, Jesse and Dave, they are our go-to for all types of services, from hauling junk in a extremely timely and clean manner, to a handyman to help us with day to day emergencies. The thing that I appreciate the most about this company is their attention to detail, their eagerness to make the customer happy and satisfied with their top quality services and most importantly, their care for my home. They are attentive, careful and if anything does not go the way planned, they go above and beyond to make sure the project looks the way the customer intended. Case in point, we just had a nursery painted by Jesse and he went above and beyond to make sure that it was the color I wanted. He even went to get the paint himself. I am a picky customer and that speaks volumes to me. Ray came to our house on a weekend just to make sure something would be fixed before we were hosting a party that evening. It was supposed to be a quick fix but then he realized it would take longer so he rolled up his sleeves and stayed half a day working on it to make sure it was taken care of before our guests arrived. That for me was absolutely the gold seal that made me appreciate their services that much more. Additionally, he was friendly and super calm. He got his music going on his earphones and worked away. These guys are great. Honest, and trustworthy. They show up on time, and get right to work. I was surprised on how efficient these guys are. I figured they would have to make 2 trips, as the pile of trash we had accumulated over the past 3 months of renovations was gigantic. They broke down all the cardboard, loaded the truck meticulously, and got everything to fit. They swept up, and even used a leaf blower to get every little bit of debris. We shopped around, and they were the best priced in our area. Its nice to find a company that you can trust. We have small dogs that could get out if the gate was not closed. These guys made sure the gate remained closed throughout the time they were loading the truck. We WILL use them again, and recommend to ALL of our friends! read more

She called in to ask how hauling estimates work and Ray offered to do a free in home estimate the same day. I texted him my address and he showed up promptly after a few hours on a Sunday. Removed a mattress and boxspring for a very reasonable price. I could have taken it to the dump myself and saved a bit of money but with a busy schedule and remodeling mess I didn't have time to deal with it. Ray was very polite and easy to communicate with via text. There was a bit of confusion using PayPal to pay but it did work out and that saved me from having to wait around to pay someone in person. Bought a house and generated a nice pile of stuff that needed to go: rotten deck wood, bad pool cover, busted ceiling fan, etc. I asked three companies for quotes and Matt replied very quickly. I jumped on it because it seemed like a great price. I sent him an image and we both realized my description wasn't great--the images told a different story. What I had was much more. He quickly jumped on a call with me. In the end, we modified our project and still Matt kept his word of the amount he quoted! Amazing. His crew left the area clean. Oh so disappointed here. After requesting a quote from the owner through Yelp, I embarked on a long game of yelp-message-tag, part of which was admittedly my fault for failing to respond in a timely fashion. When I was finally ready to actually get my item hauled away, I decided a phone call was a more expeient way to get in touch with the company. Tried to leave a message, voicemailbox was full. :-/ Hmm. Tried again, when I actually spoke with the owner they were SUPER NICE and tried to accommodate me on the same day. Unfortunately, they were fully booked for the date I requested. I then asked if I could just be put on the schedule for the following week, and the owner happily agreed. I secured my time, and was relieved to finally get rid of the item. The day came for them to haul away. They did not. I thought maybe, MAYBE I'd gotten the date wrong, that I'd wait for the following week for them to show up to take the offending furniture. The next week came (as they do). No haulers ever arrived. No call, no show. To be fair, I never called THEM back either, I was so exasperated at that point that I just called one of their competitors, who hauled the item away for 2/3 the cost I had been quoted, and came the next day. I'm sorry I couldn't write a glowing review after speaking with the owner who was SUPER SUPER NICE, but a no-call no-show should be zero stars. Two stars remain for the owner's sweetness, and my own failure to respond appropriately via messaging earlier in our interaction. read more
