There are 20- 30 people now signing petition against these company about 40 or more boxes not delivered since 2025 now 2026 my boxes are already 10 months . they also ghosting you when you call them. Our boxes were picked up in Dec of 2025 , shipped out in January of 2026 and it still has not arrived. The local customer service team are rude and you have to call multiple times to get an answer and they do not return your call when they say they would. I have been a loyal customer of Bayani Commercial for more than 20 years, and this experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. Last year Oct. 2025, I shipped a balikbayan box through your company. I was told the estimated delivery time was 1-3 months, so I expected the box to arrive by January 2026. However, when I traveled to the Philippines in February 2026, the box still had not arrived. When I contacted the company, I was repeatedly told to wait another two weeks because of customs delays. After waiting and still receiving no clear update, my husband and I personally went to the office to find out what was happening. We were told there was a customs issue because of another shipment containing illegal items, which caused all boxes in the container to be inspected individually. We tried to be understanding and gave additional time. We waited months longer than expected. When we spoke with the owner, we were told the box was not lost and was still with customs, and that we should trust him because he was doing everything he could. However, after another 6 weeks of waiting, we contacted the company again and received the same response: more waiting and another promise that it would be released soon. What is most disappointing is not only the delay, but the lack of a definite answer, clear communication, and accountability. As a long-time customer, I expected better service and more transparency. A loyal customer should not have to repeatedly call, visit the office, and wait months without knowing the real status of their shipment. I hope Bayani Commercial improves their communication with customers and takes better responsibility when problems occur. I truly hope my box arrives safely, but this experience has seriously affected my trust and confidence in the company. read more

I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated regarding the handling of our balikbayan boxes with Bayani Commercial. The worst ever! Do not use them to send boxes to your family!!! I shipped our boxes in October, originally expecting to arrive by Christmas, or at the very latest, January. It is now mid-March and still not there. This is extremely concerning because other Philippine cargo service companies within Seattle area that other family members have used sent their boxes in October, have already arrived and distributed to family in Philippines. Why is Bayani process taking longer than others? Did they not pay their cargo container fees?! Or whatever the case may be. So am I to understand that by the time my family and I return home in April, our boxes may or may not even arrived or distributed out to our family by then?! This is completely unacceptable and not a way to run a business. What makes this situation worse is the lack of communication and accountability. I have received vague and inconsistent updates about the status of our boxes. I've called numerous times since December. When I've called your office, our calls go unanswered--even after leaving multiple messages. The only way I have been able to speak to someone is by physically going into the store. This is not how a professional business should operate, especially after accepting full payment from customers who trusted you to deliver their goods within a reasonable timeframe. They need to be transparent and put them in their customers shoes! Some of the items in our boxes include food products that may expire by the time they arrive due to these significant delays. We relied on your estimated delivery timeframe, and the prolonged delay now puts the condition and usability of our goods at risk. I have sent boxes with this company for many years with no problems and with timely deliveries. But this last shipment of 2 boxes were delivered for shipment to your offices in Silverdale on 12 November to be shipped and to this date I still have not received the boxes here in the Philippines. The last contact was by phone on March 14, 2026 and was told that the container was in Manila but they do not have a date that it will be released. This is not a good way to conduct business. I've been using this freight forwarder for the past 20+ years and never had a problem until now. Granted, I only send boxes once a year so it has been a while. Apparently, they are under new ownership? At least that's what I heard. I sent 3 boxes in August, and was told it got shipped early September. It is now mid February and the cargo has yet to be delivered. No one is answering their Philippine numbers either. I will never use this company again. read more

2 boxes shipped in July 2025 and to date the only response ever provided to our inquiries on the whereabouts of the the boxes not yet received was, "already in a container at the pier in Manila." The sender, my cousin who is already in the PI, filed a report to the Bureau of Customs (BoC) in the Philippines, but Silverdale branch claimed to not have access to info, such as Shipper/Freight Forwarder and Local Forwarder required by BoC to locate the boxes in their system - that only the Tukwila branch can. I've called that branch numerous times - no live response, except a recorded message to call the Silverdale branch! Stop giving your Customers the run-around! The least we deserve from your company is the "respect" for your Customers' wasted long hours of time and effort to work with your local offices to sort this out but to no avail; not to mention our many years of patronizing your business. If boxes were lost or held at the pier due to non-payment of fees as reasons BoC claims to withhold the release of shipments - SAY SO and SETTLE IT! Otherwise, issue every single shipper the required refunds and appeasement settlements immediately. Bayani Commercial, from a loyal customer for years (but not anymore) should consider closing shop. For one, the blatant disregard for Customers, is also a blatant sign that Bayani Commercial is just all about the bottom line; ergo, must stay at the bottom of every Customer's list of shippers when sending balikbayan boxes to the Philippines. read more

It has been over four months since I shipped a package on July 11, 2025, and my mother has yet to receive it. Despite my repeated attempts to contact your company, I have not received any substantive updates regarding the whereabouts of this shipment. Given my professional obligations, I find the current situation to be an unacceptable drain on my time and resources. I initially extended the benefit of the doubt, but the continued lack of progress is concerning. I expect a prompt resolution and a comprehensive update on this matter. Furthermore, I will be seeking a full refund for the three packages I entrusted to your service. In light of this experience, I would be unable to recommend your company to others. read more

My balikbayan boxes arrived in Manila since end of Sept 2025. I constantly follow up with Silverdale Branch and no updates as of Nov 6. Today, i called several times but nobody is picking up the phone. Bayani MUST provide tracking Number so that we will not be calling their office. read more

We sent our box May 15 2025. They told us that its gonna be at destination for about 45 to 60 days the most. After 60 days we called at their office. They said its not there yet since the Ship was departed May 30th. We waited another 2 weeks and called them again. They said the ship has not arrived yet. So we waited another 17 days since thats what they've told us. And we called them again for the third time. Again we need to wait another two weeks. The lady on the phone told me to call them on September 3rd for an update but nobody answered the phone. Now I am here in the philippines still waiting for an update. My husband called them many times nobody answered. Its been almost 4 months this coming 15th of September. I mean why does the company doesn't have tracking number where we can track our box so we don't have to bother the people in their office since sounds like they don't wanna bother. Like amazon or LBC they have tracking number so we're not anxious about our box. 1 box might not be a big deal for this company and for other people but it is to us since we are the one who paid for everything. If I would have known that I will took this long, I would have brought it myself since im going on vacation in philippines anyway. But we trusted them when they said it only take 45-60 days. I sent 1 box to the Philippines through bayani commercial and the the delivery personnel in the Philippines were rude and unprofessional. The company advertised that packages are delivered to the clients doorstep but this is not true in my case. We live on a hill and they refused to drive up the hill and threatened that they bring the package back to Manila if we can't go down the hill to pick up the package ourselves. The tukwila office is disorganized as well as their staffing. They don't answer their phone return phone calls. You can't even leave a message because the mailbox is always full. Before I post this written complaint, I want readers to understand that I feel a huge disappointment and frustration towards this company, but I am calm, rational and writing this with objectivity. However, I strongly recommend you stay away from Bayani Commercial when sending your loved ones back home gifts and balikbayan boxes. If you want a shipping company you can trust and understand the value of your hard work, effort and money that you have put into so that you can send your loved ones back home in the Philippines clothes, gifts, medicine, etc. Then look somewhere else and DO NOT USE BAYANI COMMERCIAL. We sent two boxes back home in October knowing they would arrive in time for Christmas. We sent a used Ipad, a bunch of new and passed down clothes, 10 boxes of Emergen-c (Costco size), chocolates and medicine for my aunt and many other gifts. A couple of months passed and still no sign of the Balikbayan Boxes. So, I called on Sunday December 3rd. Spoke to a woman that was nice and she informed me that their storage had been burglarized and over 200+ boxes were stolen. Of course, mine we 2 of those boxes. NO ONE EVER CALLED or SENT A LETTER. I was calm but pretty sad that my family wouldn't get their gifts and medicine especially during this pandemic when they need it most. But no worries because I knew I had declared everything in the boxes and hopefully they are insured. BUT NO... it turns out, they only cover $200 per box despite the fact that I had declared all the items and specifically wrote $500 and $600 as the value. Apparently when my husband dropped off the boxes, the manager told him they will only cover $200 ?!? WHO DOES THAT?! In what world, is an iPad less than $200? My husband said they made him put $200 and him being non-Filipino and never shipped a box before was following orders from the manager. Today I called again to be greeted by an angry manager already yelling into the phone. She must have had several of these calls. She knew that I was missing two boxes and informed me that she has already sent two checks for $200. I asked her what can be done aside from the $200 per box because the items in those boxes were well over a thousand dollars. Also, the shipping fees were $130. She kept yelling at me for several minutes telling me to be quiet and let her talk, I listened and already getting pretty upset. She thought she could just keep yelling at me like that and somehow be overpowered by her crass. Finally, I told her to listen and she gave be about 1 minute before yelling at me again. This is by far the most unprofessional, rude and manager I have ever encountered. What I think is fair is that their company should reimburse people for what they lost. I declared $1100 in value and she blatantly disregarded customs regulations and crossed off $500 and $600 and put "200". This is unacceptable! The manager said she would not reimburse for the full value and sent the two payments of $200 already. Now at this point we were going in circles and my blood pressure was getting higher. I then asked for a refund for the shipping fee of $130 which obviously was not fulfilled. She started yelling again and said that the payments of $200 include the refund! LIKE WHAT?!?!!?!? What kind of company does this? She said she would give a voucher and take it or leave it. But seriously lady... who would use your company again? WHY would anyone trust you to manage their valuables?! I don't understand where and how I was being unreasonable. I am not the only one that has had this experience. Please share this and if you were one of the unfortunate folks who sent a package in October 2020, I am filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I encourage the same if they fail to meet reasonable needs of their customers. read more

My parents have used bayani for years. I've bought plane tickets from the Jackson office and have sent Balikbayan boxes from the Tukwila office. I shipped a box with them that was supposed to be put on a ship in early October. It's December and the box hadn't been delivered. There is no way to track the box online and bayani doesn't answer the phone (and the mailbox is full so I can't leave a voicemail). I sent almost 35 boxes in different occasions for almost two years. One time my declaration paper indicated signature adults shoes including counts when it arrived in the destination 1/3 of the box is missing. I packed the box to the top because I am paying the contents. I will definitely will not send without fully putting things up to the top of the box. Then I kept on calling them nit response because I already left voicemails. 6 attempts then I finally got another number to contact in Silverdale that's the only time I got response. I was told according to the destination warehouse it was not opened at all yet no video sent to proved. So bad experience. read more
