So I wanted to write a review that would really help someone like me who wanted a review that gave…read morethem an opinion that seemed fair and honest and not supper one sided... With that being said Payless was no where near the top of my list when I started my first venture of buying a car, in fact it was my last stop. I had looked at what seemed like 100 diffrent lots, every one of them promising me a good deal and that my not so pretty credit wouldn't be a problem...needless to say I was fed up with all the false advertisment that seemed to come along with buying a car. On the day I stopped at Payless I had been to several lots that day and was going to go home but I had printed out some info on a car they had that looked like it might work, so I decided to go to Payless on the off chance they could have my car. I was immediately greeted by Daniel Martinez and when I enquired about the car I had the print out for he regretfully informed me that he literally just sold it. My heart sank I was done with this whole car buying business, I turned to leave and Daniel stopped me and asked "why that car?" I let him know because it fit what I was looking for so hes asked what that was and I went into the speech I had rattled off 100 times to my different car salesmen... Daniel listen and gave me an answer no one else was able to... The answer was the cold hard truth and the reality of what my situation could afford me.... I originally was looking at a 03' jetta Daniel got me a 2011 KIA for a better price and APR then anyone offered me.... And the KIA was the newest car I looked at!!! I fell in love with the car and was so happy that is until 3 days in the check engine light came on and my heart sank again... The only thing I could think was great I got what I didn't want a lemon! I took the car right to Payless.... Daniel was out on a test drive but the other guys there quickly got me to service where they found out I needed a new catalytic converter they let me know that I should take the car to KIA as it was a manufacture part that they would fix for free since the car was under 100,000 miles. This made me slightly upset but if it was going to get fixed that's all that mattered. So instead of driving to KIA in Manteca I called first to make sure they had time... They were so rude (that's another review I should write) so I went back into service and let them know the mechanic for Payless Chris said not to worry about it he would take care of it. They had me sit down for a few minutes then Eric from Payless brought me keys to a rental car and said not to worry my car would he fixed and I could drive the rental until then (the rental was an amazing 2012 Ford fussion). A few days later I got a call that my car was done and it was perfect! I'm so happy that Payless is where I purchased my first car everyone from their sales team to their finance team to their service department is so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy and most of all well informed. "My job is to give you all the information I can so you can make the best choice in buying a car whether that's from me or not." - Daniel Martinez Thanks Daniel!!!

Also the finance department was great also crunching numbers and getting the deal to materialized. There was a Crack in the windshield but Brandon set up an appointment to get it replaced. Definitely recommend Central Valley Automotive Group to my friends if they are going to make a purchase

This is a follow up review to my Nissan Marano , which I just had to take into the shop after three…read moremonths of owning it paying $8000 for . The transmission is bad, there was a used one put in it , bad radiator , leaks from the power steering hoses ruined the alternator putting the car in limp mode, bad shocks, bad brakes, bad right side axle. bottom line 13,000.00 in repairs needed on this car that I paid 8,000.00 for and put less than 2000 miles on. This family owns City Gear on ninth Street also which they say is separate from Road to Durability but they're the same soulless family ,and I encourage everyone to purchase your vehicle 's elsewhere. Their get down is this, they keep the fluid levels low on the cars so they don't leak until you get it home or have driven it for a while ,and once you fill up your fluid, that's when all you can see all the leaks and the problems start. We told them that we needed a safe reliable car to get back-and-forth to my husband's surgery in San Francisco. They said it was a great car if we had any problems bring it back and they'll help us in any way they can. " The mechanic "reluctantly helped me by Putting a band aid on and sending me on my way. Who in the world can afford $13,000 in auto repairs , the car is done , that's all I had to last me at least the next ten years. The topper is I can't take my husband to San Francisco for his surgery now. Thanks a lot Road to Durability you guys are a class act

I was indecisive about buying a vehicle.... We left and I continued to shop around and received a…read morecall from the owner of road to durability and said that she had found me a cheaper insurance and I decided to go back. When I got there we had began filling out paperwork and I went to get the deposit and when I got back.. The one was still not fully completed but it was near the end of the day so I gave her the deposit and I got a receipt. When I went back in the morning to finish the paperwork... The loan was denied because she impersonating me and they cut the loan completely off. She got another lender by also impersonating herself as me and was able to complete the purchase.... But during this time I had continued to ask if the vehicle was a rental car... And she said no it was not.. The one thing that I did not ask was for the Carfax... Once I got back from the credit union getting the check, just excited I got the car I had been hoping for...also informing the credit union that this was the first id spoke w them........ I am asked hastily to sign the Carfax.... I have already done the transaction and now come to find out that this vehicle was in severe accident.... And it was a rental vehicle. I felt deceived after the fact because she was very adamant and pushy knowing this was the car I wanted. The insurance company she helped me with was a full on fly by night company and was cancelled within 7 days. I wouldn't recommend coming here as you never know what someone is doing with the personal information provided ... And knowing that she was not out front about the car was definitely upsetting and felt completely like a used car salesman.... I have a few ticks with the vehicle that I will have to address in the future with a reputable mechanic. Please avoid this place
