It's amazing to me that they can pack so many items into a store! We were able to find some good bargains, and will go back again. The folks that work up front are professional and pleasant, and did a nice job in carefully wrapping our treasures. Love this store. The one caveat is this: just as with every other antique mall, not everything is a bargain, so you must take care. Thumbs up!

We were up in Denton for an event in October and as we were taking a stroll we happened upon Denton's adorable town square, and right by the courthouse was a storyteller, spinning spooky stories! It was positively charming! It was the Tejas Storytelling Association. We sat down and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the scary tales for a bit. They had adult scary stories inside for $5, which I really wanted to do if we would of had the time. This is on my list for this year though, so I hope they do it again!

I hope the adhesive was at least archival acid free. I brought a piece of art here a few years ago and didn't get the kind of glass I asked for, but it wasn't a huge deal, so I kept it as-is. I decided to give them another chance because I figured that was a misunderstanding and I like to shop small/local. I took an original watercolor to be float mounted and when I got it back it was just matted traditionally. I know he understood what I wanted when I dropped it off, because he told me how he was going to use spacers to keep the art from touching the glass, so it wasn't just a misunderstanding this time. Two chances is enough for me so I took it elsewhere to have it fixed. They opened it up right in front of me and there was my expensive original artwork, spray mounted to foam board. Time will tell if it starts to yellow and discolor. So upset and disappointed about all of this.
